Greece edges towards collapse as troika demands new austerity plan

German Chancellor Angela Merkel is scheduled to meet Greek Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras Thursday, during a meeting of European Union leaders in the Latvian capital of Riga.

In the run-up to the meeting, European Commission (EC) Jean-Claude Juncker denied offering Greece a deal of around €5 billion in loans in exchange for a package of structural reforms.

Deception, Thy Middle Name is Divert

The New York Times’ Jerusalem bureau slavishly responds to unfolding Israeli stories as though the computers there are set on robotic control to: “Divert, Divert”.

Pope Francis has presented President Abbas with “a bronze medal that represents an angel of peace”, canonized two Palestinian nuns, and recognized Palestine as a state.

That is the big news out of the Vatican.

Not so for the NYTimes. After its initial report on canonization and recognition, the Times turns quickly to the “importance ” of the difference between “may you be” and “you are an angel of peace”...

Time for FIFA to show Israel the red card

The truth must be told from the outset: I hope Israel is suspended from FIFA.

A soccer ban doesn’t kill anyone. A boycott spills no blood. It is a legitimate weapon to establish justice and apply international law. Israel supported and supports boycotts, and encourages them: against Hamas, against Gaza, and, of course, against Iran. It even joined the boycott against South Africa, albeit in spite of itself. Now its turn has come.

Song for Yemen

A short video and song by Finian Cunningham - Inspiration by Bente Petersen, dedicated to the children of Yemen.

Song for Yemen (Lyrics)

What’s it coming to?
What’s it coming to?
When they’re killing children every day
And the whole world looks away

What’s it coming to?
What’s it coming to?
When kings and presidents say they’re right
To bomb the poor day and night

And the whole damn world just stays quiet
And the whole damn world bows to might is right

What’s it coming to?
What’s it coming to?
When they’re killing children every day
And the whole world looks away

And the whole world looks away
And the whole world looks away

Judas of Baltic States betray their own peoples and national interests

The leaders of the Baltic states literally writhe in hysterics when they talk about the "Russian threat." They intimidate the population of their countries, special forces of the Baltic States hold drills to learn to neutralize "little green men", while NATO troops march across the territories of the Baltic States. Obviously, the leaders of the Baltic countries are Judas of their own people; they work to execute a political order from overseas. There are a lot of such traitors in Europe.

Are They About To Confiscate Money From Bank Accounts In Greece Just Like They Did In Cyprus?

Do you remember what happened when Cyprus decided to defy the EU? In the end, the entire banking system of the nation collapsed and money was confiscated from private bank accounts. Well, the nation of Greece is now approaching a similar endgame. At this point, the Greek government has not received any money from the EU or the IMF since August 2014.

Losing the American Republic

Decades of letting neocons dictate a hawkish foreign policy have put the American Republic in profound danger, just as presidents from George Washington to Dwight Eisenhower predicted, warnings that Americans must finally take to heart...

We may lament our poverty of leadership, but there are ways to make it function. “Princes,” since long before Machiavelli have always used advisers; some even listened to them. Surely the capable people among us — like the “wise men” who whispered in the ears of those earlier leaders — can guide today’s leaders toward more viable policies and away from the chaos that engulfs us.

EU to get rid of cash – new economic totalitarian regime

Brussels is going to bring about new steps in order to cope with the debts of European bank reserves. It decided not to undertake any further reforms to tackle the existing economic problems but rather to get rid of all cash.
To maintain the euro, they must maintain the banks. But the bank reserves consist of debts of all member states. As government becomes insolvent as in Greece, the banking system is undermined. The only way to prevent the banking collapse is to prevent people from withdrawing cash. Hence, we see this trend surfacing all the mainstream press to get the people ready for what is coming after 2015. We can even evidence this approach in major parts of Germany.
There will be no ability to buy or sell anything without government approval. That is where we are going and this may be the major event that erupts after 2015.

US Blinks in Face-Off with Russia

After staring Russia in the face for the best part of a year, the poker-faced Americans finally realized they are holding a bunch of worthless cards. And the Americans blinked.

Last week started with US Secretary of State John Kerry coming to Russia to lay a wreath for the millions of Soviet soldiers who gave their lives in the historic defeat of Nazi Germany. Then the week ended with Kerry’s deputy at the State Department, Victoria Nuland, flying to Moscow to meet Russian officials to discuss implementation of the Minsk ceasefire in Ukraine.

That’s what you might call «America blinking first» in its high-stakes and reckless face-off with Russia over the Ukraine crisis.

Is Washington Coming To Its Senses? — Paul Craig Roberts

There is much speculation about US Secretary of State John Kerry’s rush visit to Russia in the wake of Russia’s successful Victory Day celebration on May 9. On May 11, Kerry, who was snubbing Russia on the 9th, was on his way to Russia, and Putin consented to see him on May 12.

As time passes we will find out why Kerry was snubbing Putin on May 9 and 3 days later was criticizing Washington’s puppet regime in Ukraine. For what is known at this time, a possible explanation is that Washington is coming to its senses.

An-2 Aircraft Feared Shot Down Over Lithuania

A Soviet-made An-2 (NATO reporting name "Colt") aircraft is feared shot down after it went missing in Lithuanian airspace while it was en route from Sweden to Lithuania on Saturday.

Lithuania has been ramping up air defense efforts in response to what it alleges are airspace violations by Russian planes. The aircraft's two pilots, both of whom have over 40 years experience flying, are missing.

"I know that they were in Lithuanian airspace and were in contact with Palanga Airport, but then the signal disappeared. Maybe the plane got shot down, maybe something else," the head of Klaipeda Airlines which owns the plane told Delfi.

RF foreign ministry: plans to shatter Macedonia's home situation are brought from outside

"The information, the Serbian media published about a citizen of Montenegro, detained in Macedonia, who supported the Kosovo-Albanian extremists, is a clear demonstration of the plans, launched from outside to shatter the political situation in that country, to attempt pushing the country into the abyss of colour revolutions," the Russian Foreign Ministry said.
This incident confirms also that "Western managers of catastrophic scenarios of the kind prefer to implement them by somebody else’s hands, using in Ukraine, and now in Macedonia, people of the countries [like Montenegro], which seduced by NATO."
"More than evident is the threat of provoked chaos in Europe-now in the Balkans; where the region still has not recovered from the bloodshed of the 1990s," the ministry said.

He joins us to speak on the subject matter of his latest books, “Heroes Hang When Traitors Triumph” and “Heroes of the Reich.” In the first hour, Mike gives an overview of the negative propaganda surrounding the period of the Russian Revolution to the end of Nazi Germany. We consider why it is essential to look back to the stories of the defeated during this time frame when scrutinizing the post-WWII reconstruction era controlled by the banking system and mainstream media. Mike takes us back to the story of the iconic Lawrence of Arabia, a highly principled man who was deeply opposed to a war with Germany and ultimately removed from the equation.

Éric Zemmour: SOS Racisme, a case study in anti-nationalist Jewish activism

Zemmour observes that “the Jewish far-left, from the Trotskyite movements to the UEJF [Jewish student union], was at the reins” of SOS Racisme, a major “anti-racist” group. In alliance with the institutional left, SOS Racisme worked to divide the right-wing vote, to politically isolate nationalist parties (above all the Front National), to censor nationalist discourse, and to hijack incipient Black/Arab movements. Zemmour argues that SOS Racisme thus “sapped the foundations of the French nation.”

First they manufacture monstrous lies, and then they tell us that we should be objective!

I truly believe that there is not much time for “objectivity” in any battle, including those ideological ones, especially when these are battles for the survival of humanity!

I strongly believe no! We are obliged to fight those who are burning our dwellings, to hit with full force those who are attempting to rape our women, and to confront fire with fire when innocent beings are slaughtered.

More air policing, more drills’: NATO to boost presence on Russia's doorstep

NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg says the alliance is going to increase its activity at its eastern borders, with more air and sea patrols, amid non-stop exercises.

Speaking at a media conference on Thursday after a meeting of NATO member state foreign ministers in Turkey's Antalya province, Stoltenberg said it was being done to "adapt the Alliance to new threats."

"We are constantly discussing the adaptation of the Alliance and we have to always be able to fulfill our main responsibility and that is to defend and protect all our allies against any threat," the secretary general said. "NATO is the strongest military alliance in the world and we are going to keep NATO strong by adapting."
