“Drone Attack” on Saudi Oil – Who Benefits?

By Tony Cartalucci

Huge blazes were reported at two oil facilities in Saudi Arabia owned by Aramco. While Saudi authorities refused to assign blame, media outlets like the BBC immediately began insinuating either Yemen’s Houthis or Iran were responsible.

The BBC in its article, “Saudi Arabia oil facilities ablaze after drone strikes,” would inject toward the top of its article:

"Iran-aligned Houthi fighters in Yemen have been blamed for previous attacks."

Following an ambiguous and evidence-free description of the supposed attacks, the BBC even included an entire section titled, “Who could be behind the attacks?” dedicated to politically expedient speculation aimed ultimately at Tehran...

3 US Targets in Region Attacked If IRGC Downing of Spy Drone Responded – IRGC Commander By wmw_admin on September 16, 2019

As tensions mount over alleged Iranian involvement in the attack on the Saudi oil facility, the statements from the IRGC commander below are meant as a warning to America. In other words General Amir Ali Hajizadeh is saying to Trump, mess with us and you will pay a heavy price.

US Bases surrounding Iran. All within easy reach of Iran’s surface-to-surface missiles. Click to enlarge

Will Trump heed these warnings? Or will he comply with the demands of the Saudis, the Zionists and U.S. hawks and sacrifice more U.S. lives needlessly?
We write that because things are not unfolding quite as Anglo-American-Zionist elite had planned. So instead of an apocalyptic conflict, which would enable them impose martial law across the West and expand their global dominion, a military clash with Iran might entail a series of limited, lesser engagements.

Saudi oil attacks: US says intelligence shows Iran involved

The United States has issued satellite images and cited intelligence to back its allegation Iran was behind attacks on major Saudi oil facilities.

Iran denies involvement in Saturday's air attacks, which were claimed by Iran-aligned Houthi rebels in Yemen.

But unnamed US officials speaking to US and international media say the direction and extent of the attacks cast doubt on Houthi involvement.

The incident has cut global oil supplies by 5% and prices have soared.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Where, please, is the hard evidence Americans can actually trust, rather the bits and pieces of cherry picked "intelligence and accusations" against Iran, which are the only things the US government has been able to produce?!?

And please remember; this is precisely the same Federal Government which told you that Iraq's Saddam Hussein "had weapons of mass destruction", and that Syria's Bashar al Assad "was using chemical weapons against his own people".

They lied to pursue various geopolitical/financial objectives; with Iran one of the premier oil producers in the Middle East, how can we trust that they are not lying again?!?

The short answer is, absolutely not.

U.S. Prepares To Strike Iran As The Middle East Braces For War

President Trump is using the phrase “locked and loaded” to describe our current stance toward Iran, and the big news networks appear to believe that some sort of U.S. military action could be imminent.

We just witnessed the worst attack on Saudi oil production facilities in history, and it would seem to be extremely unlikely that the U.S. and Saudi Arabia would allow this to pass with no response. Houthi rebels in Yemen have publicly taken responsibility for the attacks, but as you will see below, U.S. officials have already completely rejected that explanation for a variety of reasons. At this point, we are being told that the attacks probably originated either from Iranian-backed Shia rebels in southern Iraq or from Iran itself. And if the U.S. strikes back by conducting airstrikes inside Iran, that could literally cause World War 3 to erupt. We are so close to a major war breaking out, but most Americans are still not paying attention.

US Senator calls on Trump to bomb Iran to ‘break the regime’s back’

U.S. Senator Lindsey Graham of South Carolina has called on the U.S. administration to send a message to Iran by bombing the Islamic Republic’s oil refineries.

“Iranian supported Houthi rebels who attacked Saudi oil refineries is yet another example of how Iran is wreaking havoc in the Middle East. The Iranian regime is not interested in peace – they’re pursuing nuclear weapons and regional dominance,” Graham tweeted on Saturday.

U.S. OFFICIALS BUILDING A CASE AGAINST IRAN AFTER MASSIVE ATTACK ON SAUDI

Jerusalem Post Middle East

Attack on Saudi was large and sophisticated, satellite images show, and involved numerous drones.

Satellite images released by US officials on Sunday showed the extent of damage on Saudi Arabia’s Abqaiq oil processing facility and at Khurais oil field. The images show 17 impact points on key petroleum infrastructure, including four hits on liquefied natural gas storage tanks.

The images reveal extreme precision by the drones or cruise missiles which struck the oil facilities. ABC News reported on Monday that officials have ascertained that a dozen cruise missiles and 20 drones were fired in the attack. This degree of sophistication is beyond the ability of Yemen’s Houthi rebels, notwithstanding their claim of responsibility.

Webmaster's Commentary:

I find it interesting - and more than slightly ironic - that it is the US government "building a case" against Iran, and not the Saudi government.

One has to wonder if both the Saudi Government in Riyadh, and Crown Prince Bin Salman, have been given a deadline before which they must respond to Trump's ultimatum regarding identifying Tehran as the culprit here.

And as the Second Cynic in Chief of this website (my Sweetheart being the First Cynic in Chief),I have to wonder if such a deadline... might well be coordinated to dovetail, with the moment Israeli polls are open, and in which Prime Minister Netanyahu is fighting for his political life.

Sen. Graham Wants to Bomb Iran in Response to Houthi Attack on Saudi Oil

Armageddon on the Horizon?

Trump supporters should let Trump hear from them as he is about to commit the United States to a war of Israel’s choosing. A mutual defense treaty between the US and Israel would give Israel the ability to commit the US to a war in Israel’s behalf.

Remember history. It was British prime minister Chamberlain’s guarantee to Poland that started World War II. The idiot British lost control over their own policy and gave it to a crazed and irresponsible Polish military dictatorship.

The attack on the Saudi oil fields that Trump and Israel are blaming on Iran is almost certainly an attack by Israel. The attack is being used to start a war with Iran.

Iran Rejects US Accusation Over Saudi Drone Attacks

When Saudi oil refineries were struck by a drone attack on Saturday, Secretary of State Mike Pompeo was quick to declare Iran responsible. This was par for the course for Pompeo, who has long been the driving force in pushing the US toward military action against Iran.

Iran rejected the accusation, saying that the US allegations were “meaningless” and just meant to justify military action. Officials also presented it as a continuation of US “deceit” about Iran.

$100 A Barrel Coming: Iran dismisses U.S. claim it was behind Saudi oil attacks, says ready for war

Iran dismissed accusations by the United States that it was behind attacks on Saudi oil plants that disrupted world oil production and warned on Sunday that U.S. bases and aircraft carriers in the region were in range of its missiles.

Yemen’s Iran-aligned Houthi group claimed responsibility for Saturday’s attacks that knocked out more than half of Saudi oil output. But U.S. Secretary of State Mike Pompeo said there was no evidence the attacks came from Yemen and accused Iran of “an unprecedented attack on the world’s energy supply.”

US Blames Iran For Saudi Attack, Region On Brink Of War

The scope and precision of attacks on Saudi Arabian oil facilities suggest the launch was not made by Houthis and came from a west-northwest direction, not south from Yemen, a U.S. official said on Sunday.

Yemen's military warns foreigners to leave Saudi oil plants

Yemen's military has warned foreigners in Saudi Arabia to leave Aramco's oil processing plants, saying they are still a target and can be attacked "at any moment."

The warning came after Houthis and their allies in the Yemeni army deployed as many as 10 drones to bomb Abqaiq and Khurais oil facilities run by the Saudi state-owned oil company before dawn Saturday.

Spokesman for the Yemeni armed forces, General Yahya Sare'a, said in a tweet Monday that the attacks in the kingdom's eastern region had been carried out by drones with normal and jet engines.

He said Saudi Arabia should stop its "aggression and blockade on Yemen," or see the Yemeni army hit the kingdom "anywhere and anytime" it chooses.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Even though the Butcher of Yemen I(Prince Bin Salman) has made the statement publicly, that the Saudis can handle these attacks on their own MBS tells Trump Saudi 'willing and able' to respond to attacks, this statement by Houthi rebels, telling foreign workers to get out of Saudi Arabia ASAP, most probably means that another attack is imminent.

Should such a scenario happen, the Israeli government will be high fiving themselves, big-time; because now, there is a proxy army to take down Iran, and not a single drop of blood of Israeli blood will be shed.

Should it happen, I would strongly suggest, that the US will be joining forces with Saudi Arabia, and start bombing Iran, with a potential decap strike against Tehran.

I would, however, suggest to the Adult in the Room in the Bowels of Power, in Saudi Arabia; Israel; or the US, that such a move would trigger Russia to enter the fray on Iran's side, and that... would completely change the math of any potential outcome.

Drone Attack on Saudi Oil Field Seen as ‘Pearl Harbor’ Moment

For many of the national security teams that monitor threats on the U.S., the apparent drone strike Saturday on the heart of Saudi Arabia’s oil production facilities was the realization of their worst fears.

Based on early reports, multiple relatively inexpensive drone devices were able to pierce Saudi defenses in a way that a traditional air force could not: flying long distances to drop potent bombs that apparently set vast portions of the Saudi petroleum infrastructure ablaze.

The attack, for which Houthi rebels battling Saudi Arabia in Yemen took credit, underscored the fears raised by U.S. security officials and experts in terrorism about the rapid evolution of technologies allowing expanded unmanned flight.

Webmaster's Commentary:

To the author of this article, I would strongly and politely like to suggest that these actions, if in fact taken by the Houthis, are not Saudi Arabia "Pearl Harbor Moment."

It is, rather, retaliation for the US aided and abetted Saudi war against Yemen, which has assassinated thousands of Yemeni children, women, and the medically fragile elderly; I am not justifying the violence here; I am simply pointing out how this may well have been the real motivation for the attack, if, as has been stated, Houthi rebels actually pulled this off.

And if the US and Saudi intelligence infrastructure were so myopic, that the heads of these agencies, never thought that the Houthis would ever retaliate in this way, they need to be handed their collective hats.

Iran To Release UK-Flagged Tanker As Rick Perry "Wholeheartedly Condemns" Attack On Saudi Arabia

Washington has blamed Iran for this weekend's attack on Saudi Arabia's oil production facilities, which are expected to cut Saudi oil output in half until repairs can be completed. The attack was purportedly carried out by Yemen's Houthi rebels, who have a long history of launching attacks on Saudi soil. But President Trump and Secretary of State Mike Pompeo have placed blame for the attacks squarely on the Iranians. As we noted over the weekend, the timing of the attack is suspicious, coming as the kingdom renews its push to float 5% of Aramco in what's expected to be the largest-ever IPO. The offering would benefit from higher oil prices. Many have questioned why Saudi Arabia's missile defense capabilities failed to stop the attack.

Iran has denied any responsibility for the attack.

This weekend's attack wiped out 5% of the world's oil supplies.

Webmaster's Commentary:

I simply have to ask; would Iranian leadership do something so incredibly stupid that it could cause an outcry which could actually lead to a shooting war here?!?

The short answer is, they would not; these attacks are being "stage managed", very carefully, to give the "illusion" that the attacks were actual provocations by the Iranian against Saudi Arabia, and that there is no other explanation.

Folks, I hate to break it to you; but this week is shaping up as a lousy one for peace, and honorable, reasonable negotiations, and reduced tensions in both the Middle East and the world.

Iran War Imminent? Trump Says US "Locked And Loaded" To Respond To Saudi Attack

Just as the price of oil was settling down from its record surge, it spiked once again, following a tweet by president Trump which has made war with Iran virtually inevitable.

Just before 7pm, Trump tweeted that "Saudi Arabia oil supply was attacked. There is reason to believe that we know the culprit, are locked and loaded depending on verification, but are waiting to hear from the Kingdom as to who they believe was the cause of this attack, and under what terms we would proceed!"

Setting aside the implicit admission that US foreign policy in the middle-east is now inexplicably run by Saudi Arabia, what is far more troubling is Trump's statement that the US military is "locked and loaded", and set to attack the country which instigated the attack on Saudi facilities, which according to Mike Pompeo was not Yemen, and its Houthi rebels, but rather Iran.

Webmaster's Commentary:

What concerns me the most greatly, is the rapidity with which this scenario is being shoved down the world's collective gullet, even though Houthi spokespeople have claimed claim responsibility for these strikes.

Various elements in the bowels of power, both in Tel Aviv, and the US, wants to see this happen, and quickly, perhaps as a misdirection for Israeli voters when they go to the polls on the 17th.

It is absolutely not the Iranians who benefit from these charges; it is absolutely not the Saudi monarchy, or people, who benefit from these acts.

But the one country whose leadership does benefit, and that... is Israel's current leadership.

With its national elections coming up tomorrow, and Benjamin Netanyahu struggling to insure that the Israeli public will vote him in again, and that is Benjamin Netanyahu, showing how "butch" he is, by demanding that the US go to war with Iran, and immediately.

Would the IDF and Mossad conjure a "false flag" attack against Saudi Arabia's largest petroleum refining plants, ahead of their election, to make Netanyahu "look more appealing" to his voters, because he got the US to rain literal fire and brimstone on Iran?!?

Unfortunately, the short answer is, HELL, yes.

I highly suspect that the Butcher of Yemen is feeling at least some heat, as Trump challenges him to make a statement that Saudi Arabia were attacked by Iran, and quickly, even though he may, through his intelligence resources, well know better.

‘Maximum lies’: Iran rejects US’ claim it attacked Saudi oil facilities, warns it’s ready for war

Iran has rebuffed US accusations of launching a drone attacks that cut Saudi Arabia’s oil output in half. A senior Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps commander, meanwhile, has warned Washington that Tehran is ready for war.

Allegations that Iran was behind the drone attacks on Saudi oil facilities are “unsubstantiated” and false, Foreign Ministry spokesperson Seyyed Abbas Mousavi stated on Sunday. He also said officials in Washington are accusing Iran in order to tarnish its image on the world stage in preparation for “future actions” against Tehran.

It is a game changer all right. A couple more strikes like this and it will be the end of the House of Saud!

(CNN)The attack on the world's largest oil processing plant early Saturday morning is a dramatic escalation in the confrontation between Iran and Saudi Arabia -- even if the Iranians didn't fire the drones or missiles responsible.

Several projectiles struck the Abiqaiq plant, starting a series of fires that quickly took out nearly half Saudi's oil production -- 5% of the global daily output -- and sparking fears about the security of the world's oil supplies.
It's unclear when Abiqaiq, which is operated by Saudi giant Aramco, will be fully operational again.

Ready For War': IRGC General Says US Bases, Carriers Close to Iran Are Within Range of Its Missiles

The statement comes as US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo on Saturday blamed Iran for recent drone attacks on Saudi Aramco's oil fields, urging the international community "to publicly and unequivocally condemn Iran’s attacks".

Tehran has always been prepared for a full-fledged war, Iran's Revolutionary Guards Corps Aerospace Force Chief Amirali Hajizadeh said in a statement on Sunday, just a day after two drone attacks on oilfields in Saudi Arabia, which were claimed by Houthis and blamed by the US and Saudi Arabia on Tehran.

“Everybody should know that all American bases and their aircraft carriers, at a distance of up to 2,000 kilometres around Iran, are within the range of our missiles,” Hajizadeh said.

According to Hajizadeh, the Iranian military are ready to target two US bases and one carrier in the event of an armed conflict.

Webmaster's Commentary:

(Sigh); Admiral Hajizadeh, we understand this.

But what I don't get is, if in fact these are the preparations being made ready for a fight against the US military, why are you broadcasting them to the entire world?!? It would seem to me that, rather than being a declaration for your coming actions, this information is deliberate disinformation, to prevent the US (and possibly Israel) from knowing what your true intentions are here.

I have to tell you, Admiral Hajizadeh, there are many in this country who detest the US's proclivity toward war, rather than making the choice for hard-one negotiations to bring peace; of course, we are no more in control of the institutions of power in our government... than are the Iranian people with theirs.

De-Dollarization: Europe Joins the Party

By Ronald-Peter Stöferle

The ongoing “World War of Currencies”, as the German journalist Daniel D. Eckert called it, the battle for the future of the world monetary system is not a shallow action film but more like Game of Thrones – a complex series with hundreds of actors and locations, stretching over decades and demanding full concentration from the viewer.

The bottom line is that what has been true for decades still applies. The US dollar continues to enjoy the confidence of markets, governments, and central banks. But faith in the US dollar weakens a little every year. Europe, China, Russia and many small countries set new initiatives every year to make themselves independent. And gold, too, plays a major role in this slow departure from the US dollar. But for the world financial system, none of their currencies offer a viable, fully-fledged alternative to the US dollar yet, which is why any news of the death of the US dollar is definitely exaggerated...

Lawrence Wilkerson Reflects on Similarities Between Push for War In Iraq and Iran

Col. Lawrence Wilkerson, who helped sell the ill-fated 2003 Iraq War as Secretary of State Colin Powell’s chief of staff, sees disturbing similarities between the build-up to the Iraq War and current efforts to get the U.S. entangled in a military confrontation with Iran. On June 28, Wilkerson joined journalist Mehdi Hasan’s “Deconstructed” podcast to reflect on the current warmongering efforts of the Trump administration.

As in 2003, Wilkerson said “raw and unfinished” intelligence is currently being used to push pro-war narratives. In the build-up to the Iraq War, he noted, Paul Wolfowitz of the Pentagon’s Office of Special Plans fed Vice President Dick Cheney with unfinished intelligence to help sell the war. Today, Wilkerson observed that “think thanks” such as the Foundation for Defense of Democracies are being similarly used to provide the administration with intelligence and analysis that is unsound, but fits their hawkish policy desires.

Iran after promotion of ties with China in all sectors, including military: General Baqeri

Iran’s top commander says the Islamic Republic attaches high significance to the promotion of ties with China in different sectors, including military.

“Iran attaches great significance to its relations with the People’s Republic of China in all areas. We have long-standing ties in the military sector as well, and we hope this visit can be a turning point in the development and reinforcement of the relations,” Chairman of the Chiefs of Staff of the Iranian Armed Forces Major General Mohammad Baqeri said.

He made the remarks in a meeting with General Li Zuocheng, the chief of the Joint Staff Department of the Central Military Commission, in the Chinese capital Beijing on Wednesday.

He said Iran and China have maintained and strengthened their ties over the past four decades, stressing they now enjoy deep-rooted relations.

PAM ANDERSON, MEGHAN MCCAIN, AND WAR CRIMES

SOURCE: KURTNIMMO.BLOG

Thanks to “public” education (indoctrination) and the corporate media, far too few Americans understand the founders designed a constitutional republic. Instead, we’re told America is a “democracy”—the ideal of mob rule—and we all have a role to play in deciding who will lead the nation.

This is, of course, nonsense. We are spectators in the bleachers of the three-ring circus of national elections. The state is run by and for the sake of the financial class and transnational corporations. The election of handpicked yesmen (and women) every four and eight years is routinely portrayed as the will of the people.

This is why Donald Trump is a big problem—he went around the political class and made grandiose promises (deep-sixed after the election) and this is why so many Americans voted for him and why the state and its professional careerist class of politicians hate him and want him impeached, even dead.

Webmaster's Commentary:

The pattern, here, has been crystal clear and painfully obvious; destabilize a government not to the US government's liking; replace that government with one that is to the US government's liking; invite corporations the US government likes (and from whom top US political leaders get overt, and covert support for their campaigns); allow those corporations to expropriate resources to which they, nor the US government ,have any moral right; and sell those resources only in American dollars.

Wash; rinse; repeat. I mean, folks, could this be any simpler?!?

Julian Assange was simply "the messenger", about the absolute, metastasizing, core-deep rot at the center of the bowels of power in this government, which is why so many people in power hate him, and want to see him dead.

That said, I do not believe that the deep state in this country will "Epsteinize" him; perhaps, as most likely happened with Jack Ruby, Assange may find himself fighting an "incurable disease", and he will die right before any legal process can begin.

And if you are shaking you head that this could not be possible, kindly read the following: Biological Warfare: Is it possible to weaponize cancer? 3 Answers

The article goes on to state: 'Luckily for us, cells that don't play by the rules as per the above can be killed off by natural killer (NK) cells, which can easily lyse (under normal conditions, anyway) cells lacking MHC proteins.

However- and this is where the potential for weaponization in humans comes in- recent research seems to indicate that NK cells can't just lyse something that doesn't display MHC proteins- they also need stimulation from at least one of a wide variety of surface ligands. If someone was able to make a cancer cell line that selectively knocked out both components in the MHC display system and a wide variety of these NK-activating ligands, that cancer cell line would probably be invulnerable to a human immune system.

Of course, you'd still have to go around injecting people with these cells, which is why it'd make for an awful weapon of mass destruction.'

But... what if you only needed a few dead, and to make the origins of their disease... untraceable?!? Please be aware that US alphabet soup agencies are already light years ahead of other civilian research in areas like this.

NETANYAHU ACCUSES IRAN OF SECRET NUCLEAR WEAPONS SITE

SOURCE: ALJAZEERA.COM
Iran was clandestinely developing nuclear weapons but destroyed a secret site after Israel discovered it, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu alleged on Monday.

Tehran had been developing atomic arms at a facility in Abadeh, south of Iranian city of Isfahan, said Netanyahu. It was the first time the prime minister identified the site after publicly accusing Iran of building a bomb last year while citing a trove of Iranian documents allegedly stolen by Israeli agents from an Iranian warehouse.

"In this site, Iran conducted experiments to develop nuclear weapons," Netanyahu said, adding after Israeli intelligence found out about it, "they destroyed the site. They just wiped it out".

The prime minister did not provide further details on the alleged experiments, or say when they purportedly were held.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Mr. Prime Minister Netanyahu, a word, please.

You have been consistently tossing out absolutely wildly unsubstantiated claims over the past several years, at every forum you could find, in which you have accused Iran, over and over, of having secret nuclear weapons labs.

So please, let the IAEA do its job, and it will; period, end of discussion.

I, and the world, understand that it is precisely 7 days from now, when Israel will have its next General Election, with every seat in the Knesset up for grabs; and this is not lost on people who understand that, due to corruption charges and other issues, you are fighting for your political life, during this period.

And if, sir, you and the IDF are planning any kind of a decap strike against Tehran, to make you look absolutely "war-centric" to the Israeli electorate, I would strongly caution you all to not do this.

I don't know if you, or any of your advisors happened to read the following story, but think you, and your advisors, need to perhaps take another look at it, so I am doing you the courtesy of re-posting: Iran won't be alone, if the US attacks,Russian official says

A US/Israeli decap strike on Iran, with Russia coming in on Iran's side?!?

Sir, I certainly hope that I am not the only one on this planet who cannot sleep at night, considering how such a potential scenario, conveniently right before the Israeli elections, might well unfold.

The other possibility, which would absolutely stun the world, is that you and Iran's Hasan Rouhani, cobble together a peace, trade, and cooperation treaty, forestalling a war between Israel and Iran; of course, that will only happen when pigs discover they can fly, because Israel's government has become superb at manipulating its "fear dynamic" against their own people, so that everything, from killing an unarmed Palestinian child, to creating World War III,can always be justified by that government.

SAUDI ENERGY MINISTER CONFIRMS PLAN TO ENRICH URANIUM

SOURCE: ZEROHEDGE
Among the most underreported but explosive stories of the past six months has been growing signs of Saudi Arabia's nuclear ambitions. But now there are new questions over whether the kingdom's future planned two nuclear power reactors will be limited to purely energy-related and peaceful purposes.

On Monday the kingdom's nuclear energy minister said Saudi Arabia wants to enrich uranium for its nuclear power program, Reuters reports — an announcement likely to hinder talks with Washington over American companies' potential help in establishing its atomic energy program.

"The world’s top oil exporter says it wants to use nuclear power to diversify its energy mix, but enrichment also opens up the possibility of military uses of uranium," Reuters noted.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Golly Gee, Whillakers!!! What could POSSIBLY go wrong with that!

JUST what the US government desperately (doesn't) need more of right now; yet another Middle Eastern despotic autocracy, in the possession of nuclear weapons!! To potentially use against whom, I wonder?!?

Are the Saudis going to sign the NNPT before they begin this development?!? I sure as hell wouldn't hold my breath on that one. Will they allow IAEA specialists to monitor their work in this direction?!? Again, I would not hold my breath on it.

And even though toward the end of this March, President Trump authorized a secret nuclear power project for Saudi Arabia, US Approves Secret Nuclear Power Deal for Saudi Arabia apparently, it was too little, too late, because an already nuclear-armed Pakistan was in serious dialogue with the Saudis about assisting the Saudis with their nascent nuclear program.

We have a story, datelined March of this year, which sheds some light on this possibility:

How Cash-Strapped Pakistan could get Sucked into Saudi/Iran Rivalry

This article goes on to state:

'Saudi Arabia announced $20 billion in infrastructure and energy investments for the cash-strapped country of 200 million, which is currently on the brink of financial crisis.

Many of the projects are located in Pakistan’s impoverished and restive Balochistan region, which lies along the 565-mile border with Saudi arch-rival Iran.'

Pakistan certainly had the means, the motive, and opportunity here to create a nuclear armed nation in Saudi Arabia.

I sense that President Trump absolutely did not see this coming, and has been totally blindsided by Saudi Arabia's desire for both nuclear energy, and a nuclear bomb; I mean, the Butcher of Yemen, AKA Prince Salman, is one of Trump's BBFs in the Middle East, (along with the Israeli Butcher of Gaza, Prime Minister Netanyahu), right?!?

Mr. President, I am sorry, but with the US government's giving so much military and monetary aid to Israel when it is illegal, under both the Symington Amendment and The Mann act (requiring that every nuclear nation become a signatory to the NNPT, and have their nuclear sites inspected, as has Iran), demonstrates to the world, incontrovertibly, that US foreign policy in the Middle East, has made an absolute, necrotic hash of their nuclear proliferation doctrine.

This... is a flustercluck, writ large, Mr. President.

I think that the American people have the right to know, just how you intend on "fixing" this, sir; because it appears to me that the nuclear "Genie" has well and truly left the bottle, and cannot be convinced to return.

Iran uses advanced centrifuges, threatens higher enrichment

Iran on Saturday said it now uses arrays of advanced centrifuges prohibited by its 2015 nuclear deal and can enrich uranium “much more beyond” current levels to weapons-grade material, taking a third step away from the accord while warning Europe has little time to offer it new terms.

While insisting Iran doesn’t seek a nuclear weapon, the comments by Behrouz Kamalvandi of the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran threatened pushing uranium enrichment far beyond levels ever reached in the country. Prior to the atomic deal, Iran only reached up to 20%, which itself still is only a short technical step away from weapons-grade levels of 90%.

Iran seizes ship with Filipino crew for alleged fuel smuggling in Gulf

Iran's coast guard has seized a foreign tugboat suspected of smuggling fuel in the Gulf and detained its 12 Filipino crew members, state television reported on Saturday.

It said the tugboat was carrying nearly 284,000 litres of diesel. The report did not say what national flag the vessel was flying.

Pompeo: EU Nations Must Take ‘Decisive Actions’ Against Iran

Having visited Brussels earlier this week, Secretary of State Mike Pompeo took to Twitter Friday to demand that Britain, France, and Germany, the three EU members in the P5+1 nuclear deal with Iran, take “decisive actions” against Iran.

Pompeo objected to Iran’s promise to develop more efficient centrifuges for its civilian enrichment of uranium. Pompeo called this “nuclear extortion” and insisted all civilized nations must stop them.

Foreign Minister Zarif says Iran's commitments reduction allowed under JCPOA

Iran's Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif says the three steps taken by the Islamic Republic to reduce its commitments under a nuclear deal it clinched with world powers in 2015 are legitimate and allowed under the agreement.

Zarif made the remarks in a meeting with the visiting acting head of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) Cornel Feruta in Tehran on Sunday.

Iran's top diplomat said all measures taken “by the Islamic Republic of Iran to reduce its commitments in response to the European sides’ failure to fulfill theirs” conformed to Article 36 of the deal, which is officially known as the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA).

Iran nuclear chief meets acting IAEA chief, complains of Europe failure to meet JCPOA commitments

Iran’s nuclear chief has criticized the European signatories to a 2015 nuclear agreement for failing to honor their legal commitments to Tehran, adding that the multinational accord is “no one-way street.”

Head of the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran (AEOI) Ali Akbar Salehi made the remarks in a meeting with Acting Director General of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) Cornel Feruta in Tehran on Sunday.

The European Union was supposed to “fill the vacuum” created by the US’s withdrawal last year from the Iran deal, but unfortunately it has failed to keep that promise, Salehi said.

The deal “is no one-way street; it was supposed to be a two-way path,” the senior Iranian official added.

Iran says its oil tanker discharged cargo despite pressures

The spokesman for Iran's Foreign Ministry says despite all acts of sabotage by the United States, the Iranian tanker Adrian Darya 1 has discharged its oil cargo and is now berthing at a Mediterranean port.

“We had already said that we would sell our oil one way or another and acts of sabotage would have no effect on our plans,” Abbas Mousavi said while speaking to IRNA on Sunday.

The Iranian diplomat noted that measures taken by the United States to confiscate the tanker contravened international regulations, including the law of the sea and regulations of the International Maritime Organization.

Bolton ‘eager’ to see IAEA report on Iran amid Feruta’s visit

US National Security Adviser John Bolton has commented on the acting IAEA chief’s visit to Iran, making false accusations against Tehran with no evidence.

In a tweet on Saturday, the hawkish US official accused Iran of “concealing nuclear material and/or activities,” amid the visit by the acting chief of the agency, Cornel Feruta.

Netanyahu trying to push US into war against Iran in favor of Israel: Expert

An American author and Middle East expert tells Press TV’s The Debate that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is trying to have the United States wage a war against Iran.

The Israeli premier “and the hard right-wing Zionist extremists in Tel Aviv [are] trying to get the US to fight Iran for the benefit of Israel,” Kevin Barrett said on the program from Madison, Wisconsin on Saturday.

He cited an article published by The New York Times Magazine earlier in September, which had blamed Netanyahu for being “behind the US’s enmity with Iran.”

US threatens to sanction anyone fueling Iran tanker

Washington has threatened to blacklist anyone who helps fuel an Iranian vessel already sanctioned by the US administration. Iranian-operated supertanker Adrian Darya 1 (formerly Grace-1) was blacklisted by the US last month. Its captain was offered several millions of dollars to pilot the ship to a country that would impound the vessel on behalf of the US.

Netanyahu Fighting for His Political Life

New elections were called after Netanyahu failed to cobble together enough support for reelection as prime minister. He remains interim PM.

On September 17, Israelis go to the polls again to elect a prime minister and Knesset members.

Ten parties are competing for seats. Polls show Netanyahu-led Likud and Benny Gantz/Yair Lapid’s Blue and White party are each projected to win 31 of 120 Knesset seats, according to polls.

Throughout Jewish state history, Israeli coalitions governed, no single party ever winning a majority on its own.

Today extremist right-wing parties dominate Israel’s political landscape, reflecting hardline rule, democracy pure fantasy as in the West.

Netanyahu is desperate to retain power ahead of an October pre-indictment hearing on bribery, fraud, and breach of trust charges, strong evidence against him.

Webmaster's Commentary:

One has to wonder; Netanyahu has exactly 8 days in which to create some kind of war which might, under some circumstances, possibly postpone the elections until he feels he has a "safe majority" of coalitions which will protect him, or create an all-out war against Gaza, Iran, and Lebanon, hoping he looks "butch enough" to win the next elections.

However, the Israeli price in blood and money spent for such operations, looks terribly steep, from where I sit; I would respectfully and sincerely caution Prime Minister Netanyahu not take this road. Your people are emotionally exhausted by the steady diet of fear and anger, when there are so many other options which could be pursued, in the name of peace, and prosperity, for both Israel, and all other neighboring countries in the region.

Hezbollah Shoots Down Israeli Surveillance Drone Over South Lebanon

Two weeks after the first significant Israel-Hezbollah exchange of fire since the 2006 war, Hezbollah announced Monday it has downed another Israeli drone in southern Lebanon, The Washington Post reports.

A Hezbollah media statement said the group had "confronted" the Israel drone with "appropriate weapons" near the southern town of Ramiyeh, indicating the small drone was shot down. The paramilitary group now has the drone in its possession.

However, the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) denied its surveillance drone was shot down, only saying it had crashed in the pre-dawn hours of Monday morning. The IDF affirmed it had been conducting a reconnaissance mission in the area.

Webmaster's Commentary:

It appears that Hezbollah is gaining quite a large degree of sophistication in terms of taking out Israeli drones; one has to wonder just what Israel's next move here will be, because they have always stated that their military superiority over Hezbollah cannot be overcome.

It appears that Hezbollah... has proven Israel wrong.

Israel Launches Unprovoked Attacks: Uses Its Firepower, Far And Wide

Israel recently has been expanding its military attacks across much of the Middle East, hitting multiple countries. The aggressive campaign far outpaces anything any adversaries of Israel have been doing to it, or even trying unsuccessfully to do to it. Over the past two years Israel has used combat aircraft to conduct scores of attacks in Syria. Israel has stayed silent about most of this campaign of bombardment, but when it speaks it says the targets it hits are associated with Iran. The most recent widening of Israel's assaults have involved Lebanon, including drone attacks on facilities in suburban Beirut associated with Hezbollah ... The most dramatic geographic widening of the Israeli assault came last month with multiple attacks, reportedly conducted with F-35s, in Iraq - which, of course, does not even border Israel.

US offered ship captain money in bid to seize Iranian tanker in Gulf: Report

US representative for Iran offered 'several million' to captain of Iranian ship seized off Gibraltar, Financial Times reports.

A senior US State Department official offered money to the captain of an Iranian tanker that was seized off the coast of Gibraltar in early July as part of the Trump administration's "maximum pressure" campaign, the Financial Times newspaper reported.

Brian Hook, the US special representative for Iran, offered "several million dollars" to the captain of the Iranian Grace 1 vessel, which was detained off the coast of Gibraltar on 4 July amid suspicion it was going to deliver oil to Syria.

Hook sent an email to captain Akhilesh Kumar four days before Washington imposed sanctions on the supertanker in August, the Financial Times reported on Wednesday.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Either Captain Akhilesh Kumar is a true Iranian patriot; or he had very clear understanding of what would happen to him, and his family, should he have taken US deal.

US State Dept Program Offers $15 Million for Info on Iran Revolutionary Guards

The US State Department has unveiled a new $15 million “reward program” for anyone who provides information on the financial inner workings of Iran’s Revolutionary Guard, in an attempt to further disrupt them.

The program comes after the US declared the Revolutionary Guards “terrorists,” but remains very unusual, in as much as it targets an agency of a national government instead of just some random militant group.

Some analysts say they expect a backlash against the program, as further harming European and other international diplomatic efforts with Iran. US Special Envoy Brian Hook insisted, however, that the US wasn’t trying to harm diplomacy.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Heavenly Ned, with all the monies already allocated to it, is this the BEST the State Department can do?!?

State Department, please; this is a moment when you should be collectively hanging your heads in shame. Of course, people who work at the State Department have had shame, or any sense of conscience, surgically removed before they accepted their jobs.

US Offers Iranian Tanker Captain Millions To Hand Over Ship

The United States offered millions of dollars to the captain of an Iranian oil tanker currently at the center of a diplomatic spat, according to the Financial Times and confirmed to the AFP by the US state department.

US special representative to Iran, Brian Hook, emailed the captain of the Adrian Darya 1 about sailing the vessel to a country willing to impound it on behalf of the Trump administration.

"I am writing with good news," reads the email from Hook to captain Akhilesh Kuma, after which Hook offered to pay millions of dollars if he were to turn over the ship. Kuma did not respond.

Iran’s Legitimate Ballistic Missile Program Solely for Defense

by Stephen Lendman (stephenlendman.org – Home – Stephen Lendman)

US, NATO, Israeli missiles and other weapons are used time and again for naked aggression.

Judge them by their actions, warrior states, global menace nations, threatening everyone everywhere.

The Islamic Republic of Iran never attacked another country preemptively. It’s the leading regional proponent of peace and stability.

It’s targeted by the US for regime change because of its sovereign independence, support for Palestinian rights, and its vast hydrocarbon resources Washington seeks control over.

It’s also Israel’s main regional rival, the Jewish state and the US wanting pro-Western puppet rule replacing its sovereign independence.

Israel said again mulling raid on Iran; thinks Trump, unlike Obama, won’t oppose

Israeli officials are currently considering the possibility of conducting a military strike on Iran, with or without the approval of the United States, The New York Times reported Wednesday. They believe US President Donald Trump could decide not to stand in the way of such an attack, unlike his predecessor Barack Obama, the paper reported Wednesday in an exposé that detailed the lows and highs of the Israel-US relationship in the face-off against the Islamic Republic over the past decade.

“Once again, more than a decade after they first raised the subject with American officials, Israeli officials have been considering the possibility of a unilateral strike against Iran,” said the report. “Unlike with Bush and Obama, there is greater confidence that Trump wouldn’t stand in the way."

‘Stop imitating Thanos, Trump!’ Tehran blasts US for sanctioning its space agency

Iran’s technology minister has compared US President Donald Trump to an intergalactic comic book supervillain after Washington blacklisted the nation’s space exploration program.

“I can’t even locate the US in this picture, let alone sanctions on Space! The universe & #BrightFuture belong to everyone, not to a few!” Minister of Information and Communications Technology Mohammad-Javad Azari Jahromi tweeted on Tuesday, along with a picture of a nebula.

"Stop imitating #Thanos, Donald Trump!"

The official did not clarify in what way, according to him, Trump was ‘imitating’ the intergalactic Marvel supervillain, who is known for snapping half the population of the universe out of existence. However, the tweet came after the US slapped sanctions on Iran’s space agency.

UNITED STATES IMPOSES MORE SANCTIONS ON IRAN

The United States imposed sanctions on Iran's civilian space agency and two research organizations on Tuesday, saying they were being used to advance Tehran's ballistic missile program.

The U.S. Treasury sanctions targeted the Iran Space Agency, Iran Space Research Center and the Astronautics Research Institute, according to a statement on its website.

"The United States will not allow Iran to use its space launch program as cover to advance its ballistic missile programs," Secretary of State Mike Pompeo said in a statement.

He said Iran's Aug. 29 attempt to test a space launch vehicle underscored "the urgency of the threat."

Stuxnet virus attack details emerge as Israel eases cyber weapons sale restrictions

The Stuxnet virus that decimated Iran’s nuclear program was introduced by a Dutch mole working with the CIA and Mossad, intelligence sources claimed, as Israel is shopping its cyber weapons to anyone with cash to buy.

An Iranian engineer was recruited by the Dutch intelligence agency AIVD, acting under the direction of the CIA and Mossad, to infect some 2,000 Iranian nuclear centrifuges with the catastrophic Stuxnet virus, which set that country’s nuclear program back years, according to intelligence sources who spoke to Yahoo News.

The mole, who posed as a mechanic, reportedly provided data that was critical to helping the virus’ developers shape their code to specifically target the systems at the Natanz plant where it was ultimately unleashed, then helped get the virus onto the plant computers using a flash drive.

One Last Ceasefire Before Oblivion for Jihadists in Syria

If the battle is won, in essence, and the jihadists on the run, why call a ceasefire now?

Simple. Turkey needs to be able to recall its troops from the area and disengage with the rebels it has been backing there for years. That was what Erdogan bargained for in Moscow, the lives of his troops.

That should tell you how serious Putin is about retaking Idlib and how little patience he has now for Erdogan’s nonsense.

G7 summit: Trump 'would meet Iran's Rouhani if circumstances right'

Relations between Iran and the US have deteriorated since Washington withdrew last year from a 2015 deal to limit Iran's nuclear activities.

However, on Monday, Mr Trump said he had "good feelings" about the prospect of a new nuclear deal with Iran.

"Iran is not the same country it was two and a half years ago when I came into office," he told reporters at a joint G7 press conference with French leader Emmanuel Macron.

"I really believe that Iran can be a great nation... but they can't have nuclear weapons," he said, adding that they had to be "good players" before he would agree to a meeting.

Earlier on Monday, Mr Rouhani said he was ready to meet anyone if he felt it would benefit Iran.

Lebanon's President Announces Israeli Attacks Are "Declaration Of War

After pro-Iran allies in Lebanon, Syria and Iraq were all hit in suspected Israeli strikes in the space of less than 24 hours, signalling a new aggression out of Tel Aviv and willingness to risk yet another major Middle East war, Arab capitals are now alerting their armed forces to be on a war footing.

Lebanese President Michel Aoun on Monday condemned the "Israeli assault on the southern suburbs of Beirut" and told the country's United Nations Special Coordinator, that the recent spate of drone strikes on Lebanon amount to a "declaration of war".

Webmaster's Commentary:

One had to be living under a rock, not to have seen this coming.

And the timing, in terms of Israeli elections, couldn't possibly be more transparent. As we understand, the next Israeli elections will happen as follows:
Israeli Elections will happen on 17 September, 2019, and all 120 Knesset seats are "up for grabs".

That's a whole 24 days from today, folks.

I'm almost surprised that Netanyahu didn't order Israeli media to livestream these attacks, with a heavy rock beat in the background, so the Israeli people would just fall on their knees in admiration of how "butch" he and the Israeli military are, and then loop them, with nothing else allowed to be shown on Israeli media, prior to September's election.

And I also have to wonder; was President Trump advised of these attacks beforehand; or only when they were already a "fait accompli"?!?

It very clearly appears that this hubristic megalomaniac, is perfectly comfortable in starting a regional, or world war, just to save his backside as Prime Minister.

People are generally reluctant to change leadership, in the middle of a shooting war, and that is the general reality, upon which Netanyahu is betting right now.

And do not think, for one millisecond, as the 2020 US campaign lurches forward, and devolves from Russiagate to "Racistgate", that President Trump, and the US will not be called upon to defend the allegedly "only democracy in the Middle East".

This is, of course, an absolute crock of codswallop, for those who unthinkingly wish to swallow it whole.

SECRETIVE WARFARE TRAINING BEING STAGED IN 21 NORTH CAROLINA COUNTIES, ARMY SAYS

SOURCE: WBTV.COM
NORTH CAROLINA (Mark Price/Charlotte Observer) - A series of Special Forces military training exercises -- including gunfire with blanks -- is being staged across 21 North Carolina counties starting Aug. 30, and the Army is telling the public not to be alarmed at the suspicious-looking activity.

Known as Robin Sage training, the unconventional warfare exercises can be likened to live-action role playing in the extreme, with hostile engagement playing out between Special Forces students, volunteer civilians and soldiers out of Fort Bragg. It continues through Sept. 12, said a press release.

Heavily populated counties like Wake, Cumberland and Union counties are among training sites, according to the U.S. Army John F. Kennedy Special Warfare Center at Fort Bragg.

The students will match wits with more seasoned soldiers, who will “act as realistic opposing forces and guerrilla freedom fighters,” officials said in a release.

Webmaster's Commentary:

It is pretty obvious, considering the urban nature of such training, that these exercises are leading up to some kind of decap strikes in the very near future; one has to wonder...against whom, and what hostile urban area, is the US's next "target"!?!?!?

I would politely suggest, that such a target is also in Israel's crosshairs, because at this moment in time, President Trump will not sneeze, unless he has permission to do so, from Tel Aviv.

Hell, President Trump has already been informed that Israel will be targeting alleged "Iranian forces" in Iraq; so color him impotent to prevent any Israeli military mischief in Syria; Lebanon; or Iran.

And since these countries have been on Israel's "to do" list for the longest time, please consider that it may be any one of these countries for which the US military is preparing to decap strike next.

However, there is one issue which I strongly urge the US government to consider, particularly in the case of Iran, which has had a close ongoing relationship with Russia for some time. The following statement was made by a senior Russian official, during a diplomatic session:

Iran will not be alone, if the US attacks

The article goes on to state: “Iran will withstand this type of fight and Iran is not alone,” Zamir Kabulov, the Foreign Ministry’s special envoy for Asian countries including Iran, said at a Russian-Iranian policy forum in Moscow."

War with Russia?!? Over...Iran?!? Folks, this is precisely the scenario at which we are looking, should the US government order a decap strike against Tehran.

US Officials Confirm Israel Behind Unprecedented Airstrikes On Iraq

In an unprecedented escalation which could reshape alliances in the Middle East, American officials have confirmed that Israel was behind an airstrike on an Iraqi ammunition depot operated by a pro-Iran militia last month, according to The Associated Press:

Two American officials said Israel carried out an attack on an Iranian weapons depot in July that killed two Iranian military commanders. The U.S. officials spoke on condition of anonymity because they were not authorized to discuss the matter with the media.

The admission comes after two more mystery explosions rocked paramilitary bases in and around Baghdad within the last two weeks, resulting in multiple paramilitary members killed, at least one civilian death, and dozens of injured, and which prompted Iraq's Prime Minister Abdul-Mahdi to close the country's airspace to all “unauthorized flights"

Webmaster's Commentary:

One has to wonder if Prime Minister Netanyahu BOTHERED to let President Trump know this was happening, or only AFTER it was already a "fait accompli".

Iranian Tanker Showdown Heads To Turkey

The Iranian tanker which had been detained for the past five weeks in Gilbraltar has suddenly switched its ship data to show it is headed to a Turkish port, instead of arriving at waters off southern Greece, as previously planned.

Reuters has cited real-time ship tracking website MarineTraffic to show the change in the Adrian Darya's (formerly called Grace 1) destination. This after the US State Department threatened that should Greece provide any aid or facilities to the vessel carrying 2.1 million barrels of Iranian oil, it would be tantamount to "material support to terrorism".

The Unites States says the tanker is controlled by the Iranian Revolutionary Guards and thus deems any state's interaction with it support of a formally designated terrorist group. There's still an active US seizure warrant for the vessel.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Folks, the excrement is about to hit the ventilation shaft, big-time, and quickly.

The US is already officially annoyed with Turkey's invasion and creation of a "buffer zone" which is supposed to help Syrians in Turkey return to their homeland.

Lindsey Graham’s Blank Check. Why a Defense Agreement with Israel Would be a Disaster for Americans

Two world wars began because of unconditional pledges made by one country to come to assistance of another. On July 5, 1914, Kaiser Wilhelm II of Germany pledged his country’s complete support for whatever response Austria-Hungary would choose to make against Serbia after the June 28th assassination of Archduke Franz Ferdinand of Austria by a Serbian nationalist during an official visit to Sarajevo, Bosnia. This fatal error went down in history as Germany’s carte blanche or “blank check,” assurance to Austria that led directly to WW I.

Trump’s Anti-Iran Warrant

Time and again, hard evidence shows the US is a nation run by hawkish right-wing extremists, dismissive of the rule of law and democratic values they abhor and don’t tolerate.

Operating exclusively by their own rules, they maintain that UN Charter principles and other international law applies to other nations, not imperial USA.

All nations the US doesn’t control are on its target list for regime change, part of its longstanding plot to rule the world unchallenged, control its resources, and create ruler-serf societies everywhere — enforced by Pentagon-run NATO, operating as a global police force.

Since its 1979 revolution, ending a generation of US-installed fascist dictatorship, Iran has been a key target to transform back to US client state status — by brute force it that’s what it takes.

The Saudis Learn the Term “Asymmetric Response”

The Saudis just learned that some moments in history show their significance as they unfold. Iran shooting down a U.S. Global Hawk stealth drone and President Trump refusing his war-hawk cabinet in retaliating militarily is one of them.

I said then and still maintain that this was a turning point in the history of the world.

Any retaliation by the U.S. would be catastrophic for the world economy. It would unleash a regional conflict on multiple fronts which would not be any kind of controlled theater…

… That for all the might of the U.S. military and financial empire, its weaknesses are deep enough that even a relatively weak military and economy like Iran’s can stop it all dead cold because of basic things like geography, logistics and simple human resolve.

China Prepares Its “Nuclear Option” In Trade War

As the trade war with the U.S. continues to escalate, China has re-engaged with Iran on three key projects and is weighing the use of what both Washington and Beijing term the ‘nuclear option’, a senior oil and gas industry source who works closely with Iran’s Petroleum Ministry told OilPrice.com last week.

For the first of these projects - Phase 11 of the supergiant South Pars non-associated gas field (SP11) - last week saw a statement from the chief executive officer of the Pars Oil and Gas Company (POGC) that talks had resumed with Chinese developers to advance the project. Originally the subject of an extensive contract signed by France’s Total before it pulled out due to re-imposed U.S. sanctions on Iran, talks had been well-advanced with the China National Petroleum Corporation (CNPC) to take up the slack on development.

Having said that, and aware of the leverage that it had with Iran as one of the very few countries still willing to engage in developing its fields in the midst of increasingly vigorously-imposed sanctions, China has sought deal sweeteners from Iran, and has been given them. In order for it to reactivate its development of SP11, China will get a 17.25 percent discount for nine years on the value of all gas it recovers.

Webmaster's Commentary:

One thing of which an intelligent person cannot accuse either China or Iran about, is not having a very long term, win/win economic plan for both countries.

But looking at the reality that 1 September, is just a little more than two weeks away, one has to wonder if the US government, will find itself capable of responding intelligently, or is that huge "crash and recession" the financial pundits have been trumpeting for so long, going to be the case?

Is the US government contemplating a two-front war with China and Iran, for which they would have to engage very quickly, before thinking people realized why this was happening?!?

And what "reason" will they give an ever-more conscious and evolved public, about why this is happening, and why now?!?

The short answer is, they cannot, even with the biggest false flag someone could ever conjure.

IRANIAN REVOLUTIONARY GUARDS’ NAVY AND ASYMMETRIC NAVAL WARFARE

The Islamic Republic of Iran Navy, is dubbed by the country’s leadership a strategic force, and employs a conventional doctrine focusing on forward presence and naval diplomacy. Its mission areas include the Caspian Sea, the Gulf of Oman and out-of-area operations. The Iranian Navy has a relatively low number of warship and is not intended to counter modern fleets, like those of the US or the UK. At the same time, the Iranian Navy is capable enough to deal with threats from the country’s regional competitors that also have limited capabilities in terms of the conventional naval power.

The second Iranian naval force is the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps Navy (IRGCN) – it is established on an asymmetric doctrine, entirely focused on ensuring national security in the Persian Gulf. The IRGCN’s doctrine sees naval powers of Western countries as its main potential adversaries.

Pompeo to UN: ‘Time is running out’ to kick Iran while it’s down

US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo has warned allies that time is running out to squash Iran while it’s weakened by an arms embargo, urging them to halt Tehran’s “destabilizing behavior” before it regains the ability to fight back.
Tweeting a countdown clock purporting to show the “time remaining before the UN arms embargo on Iran expires and Qasim Soleimani’s travel ban ends,” Pompeo urged “allies and partners” to step up their pressure on the bogeyman du jour before the embargo expires and the playing field levels somewhat.

The NYT’s Pro-War Arguments Against War With Iran

The New York Times has published five editorials since the beginning of May that are ostensibly critical of a possible military war between the United States and Iran. As anti-war arguments, however, they are woefully lacking—vilifying Iran without subjecting the US to comparable scrutiny, and hiding US aggression towards Iran.

The editorials regurgitate the same anti-Iran demonology pro-war voices offer to try to justify an attack on the country. In one case (5/4/19), readers are told that

there is no doubt that the Revolutionary Guards is a malign actor. Founded in 1979, it was the revolution’s protector. In time, the corps became a tool of violence and military adventurism as Iran expanded its regional influence in Iraq, Lebanon, Yemen and Syria.

Booker dodges question about Netanyahu’s racism, says he went to Senate to defend Israel

In a response to a recent question inquiring whether or not Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is racist, New Jersey Senator and presidential hopeful Cory Booker said he entered the Senate to stand up for the state of Israel.

Booker was asked about Netanyahu at the Iowa State Fair on August 10 by Jewish Insider’s Ben Jacobs. Booker didn’t answer the question directly and seemingly objected to its premise. His response mainly focused on how he believes the Trump administration has endangered Israel. Booker told Jacobs:

Webmaster's Commentary:

Forgive me, but could Booker possibly be more pig-ignorant about what Trump has already done for Israel?!?

I am thinking, upon reading this, that the short answer is, HELL, NO!!

Everything both Netanyahu and Sheldon Adelson wanted, has been delivered; Trump has declared Israel's capital Jerusalem, and completely buckled on any possible, reasonable deal of getting nationhood for Palestine.

Would Booker and his senate colleagues want to declare war against Iran?!? A war for which the US government may well have to conscript, as we don't have the troop strength; the weaponry; the money, or the manufacturing to insure that such a campaign be successful, at any level?

Booker may be anxious, as this next Israeli election in September, may well be held under under the cloud of suspicious actions by both Netanyahu and his wife; what the Israeli wants, right now, is a full-blown invasion of Iran, as both a distraction, and putting the country into a favorable state of Netanyahu having actually "done something" here; but that may be more difficult than Booker could ever imagine, even on those days when he is able to think reasonably lucidly.

And there is, again, of course, that 2,000 lb gorilla in the living room, draped, napping, over the Bosendorfer piano; and this is the potential for the military presence of Russia, whose high level diplomat made the statement toward the US that "if Iran is attacked, it will not be alone."

If Iran is attacked, it will not be alone

The article, from the Moscow Times, was in a statement by a very high -ranking Russian Official, Iran “won’t be alone” if the United States decides to launch a military strike on the Islamic republic, a senior Russian diplomat said on Wednesday.

People in his position do not even FART, without the permission of President Putin, so if he made that statement, he was being an echo chamber for his boss, regarding any possible attack against Iran.

U.S. President Donald Trump targeted Iranian Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei and other top Iranian officials with sanctions on Monday. The dramatic step to increase pressure on Iran follows Tehran’s downing of an unmanned American drone last week, which Russia said had violated Iranian airspace. On Tuesday, Trump threatened to obliterate parts of Iran if it attacked "anything American," but later left the door open for talks.

John Bolton to Lobby for Harsher UK Stance on Iran, Huawei During Visit to London

The US has been carrying out a "maximum pressure" sanctions campaign against Iran and cracking down on Chinese tech giant Huawei for some time, but these polices found little support in the previous UK Cabinet.

US National Security Adviser John Bolton will try to convince the new Cabinet of Prime Minister Boris Johnson to align its foreign policies more with the American "maximum pressure" campaign against Iran and to discard its plans to use Huawei equipment in developing its 5G networks during his upcoming visit to the UK, Reuters reported, citing an anonymous source within the US administration.

FBI Starts Going After US Citizens Who Attend Iran-linked Conference

The US Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) is going after American citizens who have already attended or plan to attend the New Horizon Conference (NHC) held by an Iranian media expert to discuss major global issues.

A Virginia-based ex-Pentagon official said FBI agents were knocking at his door at 6:30 am in May, cited by Medium.com. Maloof had travelled to Mashhad in northeast Iran to attend last year's NHC and was one of the guests invited to the next conference which is to be held in the Lebanese capital of Beirut in September. The agents, however, warned him of consequences if he decides to attend.

Criminal Embargoes: Venezuela and Iran in the Crosshairs of Murderers Inc – Who Is Next?

Imagine just for a moment, the World would stand up in unison, sick and tired of the aggressive killer arrogance of the United States and her vassals – and their joint war-force called NATO – and this World, our World, what’s left of it when you deduct Washington and its Brussels allies, would at once block every shipment of everything destined for the ports of the United States of America; every sea port, airport and road port. Hermetically. Nothing would enter. Nothing, no food, no medicine, no electronics, no cars – no nothing. And nothing could leave. No exports, no petrol, no grains, no meat, no pharmaceuticals and foremost, no weapons. Nothing.

And now, take your mind a step further – and imagine the same – exactly the same, a total and full blockage of Israel – nothing would enter, no food, no fuel, no medication, no machinery and especially no weapons – and nothing would leave; a full and total blockage.

Finger On The Trigger: China's Iran Oil Weapon

Two reports out this week worth paying attention to which could greatly impact oil prices at a crucial moment in which leaders in Tehran are desperately urging China to purchase more Iranian crude:

First, Reuters notes China continued importing Iranian oil in July for the second month since a US sanctions waiver ended, though at greatly diminished levels compared to the year prior, citing numbers from three data firms:

According to the firms, which track tanker movements, between 4.4 million and 11 million barrels of Iranian crude were discharged into China last month, or 142,000 to 360,000 barrels per day (bpd). The upper end of that range would mean July imports still added up to close to half of their year-earlier level despite sanctions.

Iran ‘reserves right’ to confront Israel if it joins US patrols in Strait of Hormuz

As Israel is set to embark on the US-led naval mission close to Iranian waters, the Islamic Republic can feel free to counter this “dangerous move,” the country’s Foreign Ministry said.

Tehran “reserves the right to counter this threat and defend its territory,” ministry spokesman Abbas Mousavi was quoted as saying by local media. The “illegitimate” Israeli regime and its ally, the US, are responsible for “all the consequences of this dangerous move,” he stated.

US: IRAN SHIPS POSE AS US WARHIPS TO JAM OIL TANKERS’ GPS

SOURCE: OILPRICE.COM
The U.S. Maritime Administration has issued a fresh warning regarding commercial shipping in the Persian Gulf and the key oil chokepoint the Strait of Hormuz, saying that vessels in the area may encounter GPS interference and “spoofed bridge-to-bridge communications from unknown entities falsely claiming to be U.S. or coalition warships.”

“Vessels operating in the Persian Gulf, Strait of Hormuz, and Gulf of Oman may also encounter GPS interference, bridge-to-bridge communications spoofing, and/or other communications jamming with little to no warning,” the latest advisory reads.

In at least two of the incidents in the Middle East in the past months, vessels reported GPS interference, according to the U.S. Maritime Administration.

Webmaster's Commentary:

I seriously doubt like heck. that the Iranian government would have called for such careless, irresponsible actions from their Navy.

So because this is being preached as though it were "gospel", I cannot take these warnings seriously, as they appear, perhaps, to be part of a "false flag" operation by the US and the West, to get one of their ships in real trouble, and claim that the Iranians did it.

BEX ALERT - Iran is reportedly jamming ship GPS navigation systems to get them to wander into Iranian waters

Ships passing through the Strait of Hormuz and the Persian Gulf have reported unusual GPS interference, among other problems, and the US believes Iran is to blame.
