Rep. Maxine Waters urges counter-demonstrators to stay away from planned far-right protest at her office

Rep. Maxine Waters (D-Los Angeles) has made a reputation of being one of President Trump’s most outspoken critics, and has even told people to “push back” on administration officials they spot in public. Now, Waters may have some rowdy critics of her own to contend with.

The Oath Keepers, a far-right anti-government group that purports to have many veterans as members, has said that they will be protesting outside Waters’ district office in South Los Angeles on Thursday afternoon. Calling Waters a “protest terrorist inciter,” the group, publicized the planned gathering on Twitter and said they intended to “stand against terrorism, stand for freedom of speech and association, in support of ICE/Border Patrol as they enforce constitutional immigration laws.”

This is a STUNNING development.

GALLUP SHOWS HOW MUCH AMERICANS REALLY CARE ABOUT THE "SITUATION WITH RUSSIA"

While ever-hope-filled expectations among the left are for a 'blue wave' in the Mid-term elections, we suspect things may not turn out quite as planned given the last week's "crisis". Even before President Trump had set foot in Helsinki, the left and the media were banging the drums of war against "the thug" Putin and how he would trump Trump, and once the press conference furore was over, all hell broke loose as the left-leaning world attempted to out-signal one another's virtue as to the "treasonous", "surrender" that had occurred.

So much so - in fact - that the internet became 'full' of "Trump" and "Treason" chatter - more so even than when he joked in July 2016 about Russia having Hillary's missing 30,000 emails.

Once again - the "Russia, Russia, Russia" cries drowned out any sane discussion of the end of cold war 2.0.

Webmaster's Commentary:

It appears that whatever tenuous grip on reality the Democrats may have had in times past, has abandoned them completely, ahead of the midterms.

Flashback - WikiLeaks: Hillary Clinton Bribed Republicans to Influence Election

Never mind the Russians. It was Hillary Clinton who was actually trying to sabotage the 2016 Presidential Election, according to a WikiLeaks release.

The information released shows that the Hillary Clinton campaign staffers bribed six Republicans to “destroy Trump”.

The evidence includes an email from John Podesta to Huma Abedin discussing diverting Clinton campaign funds to various Republicans who were secretly on the Clinton payroll.

The email, sent in July of this year, describes how funds were being diverted from Clinton’s campaign to the Super PACS of Jeb Bush, Carly Fiorina, and John Kasich.

According to the email: “JB, CF, and JK PACS will be noticeably silent for the rest of the campaign. Each will receive a significant allowance from advertising budget. HRC is in the loop and has talked to all three personally. Eyes only.”

ANOTHER DAY, ANOTHER PILE OF VOTER DATA LEFT LAYING AROUND ON A PUBLIC SERVER

Leaving private voter or customer data easily accessible on a public-facing server is the hot new fashion trend. You'll recall that it's a problem that has plagued the Defense Department, GOP data firm Deep Root Analytics (198 million voter records exposed), Verizon's marketing partners (6 million users impacted), Time Warner Cable (4 million users impacted), and countless other companies or partners that failed to implement even basic security practices. And it's a trend that shows no sign of slowing down despite repeated, similar stories (much of it thanks to analysis by security researcher Chris Vickery).

I’m the Reporter Mentioned in Mueller’s Indictment. Why Hasn’t He Spoken to Me?

Part of the reason I was surprised is that I have never been contacted by anyone from Mueller's investigative team. That's one reason I personally know that this is a shoddy investigation, but I'll come back to that in a moment.

When I saw that I was being discussed in the indictment, I immediately mentioned it on Twitter. I also made it clear to the media that I was available for interviews. No media outlet has contacted me.

Dems, Left Wing Media Claim Russian Hacking an ‘Act of War’

President Donald Trump’s refusal to rehash allegations of Kremlin-backed interference in the 2016 presidential election during a joint press conference with Russian President Vladimir Putin Monday incensed Democrat lawmakers and left wing media pundits.

Standing alongside Putin, President Trump steered clear of confrontation with the Russian, while questioning U.S. intelligence and last week’s federal indictments of 12 Russians for hacking into Democratic email accounts to purportedly hurt Hillary Clinton in 2016.“I have great confidence in my intelligence people, but I will tell you that President Putin was extremely strong and powerful in his denial today,” President Trump said following a two hour one-on-one meeting with his Russian counterpart. “He just said it’s not Russia. I will say this: I don’t see any reason why it would be.”

President Trump’s remarks prompted an onslaught of calls for the U.S. to respond to Russia’s alleged meddling, described as an “act of war.”

John Brennan Urges Republican ‘Patriots’ to Help Impeach Donald Trump After Putin Meeting

Former CIA Director John Brennan reacted to President Donald Trump’s press conference with Russian President Vladimir Putin by calling on Republican lawmakers to support impeaching the president.

“Donald Trump’s press conference performance in Helsinki rises to & exceeds the threshold of ‘high crimes & misdemeanors,’ Brennan wrote, hinting at impeachment proceedings.

Brennan is a frequent Trump critic and a contributor for NBC/MSNBC.

“It was nothing short of treasonous. Not only were Trump’s comments imbecilic, he is wholly in the pocket of Putin,” he continued. “Republican Patriots: Where are you???”

During the press conference with Putin, Trump questioned the FBI investigation of Hillary Clinton’s use of a private email server and their failure to seize the DNC’s server that they claimed was hacked by Russians.

Later in the day, Brennan appeared on MSNBC to call for Trump officials to resign.

White House not ruling out Putin proposal to let Russia question ex-US ambassador, prominent financier

The White House said Wednesday that President Trump would consider whether to allow Russian prosecutors to interview onetime U.S. ambassador to Moscow Michael McFaul and other Americans in connection with criminal claims against Bill Browder, a prominent critic of Russian President Vladimir Putin.

On Wednesday, Sanders said there "was some conversation" between Trump and Putin at their Monday summit about Russia's request, "but there wasn’t a commitment made on behalf of the United States and the president will work with his team and we’ll let you know if there’s an announcement on that front."

Judge denies Manafort's request to suppress evidence

A federal judge on Wednesday denied a request by President Donald Trump’s former campaign manager Paul Manafort to suppress evidence seized by the FBI from his home as part of Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s ongoing probe into whether Trump’s 2016 presidential campaign colluded with Russia.

Manafort’s lawyers had sought to limit the scope of evidence that prosecutors can rely on for his upcoming September trial in Washington, D.C., claiming that the search warrant was overly broad and unconstitutional.

“Given the nature of the investigation, the warrant was not too broad in scope,” wrote Judge Amy Berman Jackson for the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia in her ruling.

Crazed US Presstitutes Drive The World To Nuclear War By Paul Craig Roberts

Humanity has on numerous occasions narrowly missed nuclear Armageddon. Each time it was averted by military officers, both American and Soviet, who understood that the relations between the US and the Soviet Union were not that strained. Today this situation has been radically altered by the corrupt American media, Democratic Party, and military/security complex, who, acting in behalf of Hillary’s political interest and the greed of the armaments industry, have demonized Russia and her president to the extent that malfunctioning warning systems or a temper tantrum of a crazed politician are likely to result in a fatal launch.

A Top Democrat Just Sealed The Party’s Doom In 2018

In the course of the interview, Hoover quizzed Ocasio-Cortez about her thoughts on the Israel-Palestinian conflict.

Like any good indoctrinated leftist, Ocasio-Cortez came down strongly on the side of the Palestinians and blasted the Israelis as “occupiers.”

Ocasio Cortez stated:

“I also think that what people are starting to see, at least in the occupation of Palestine, is just an increasing crisis of humanitarian conditions, and that to me is where I tend to come from on this issue.”

When Hoover asked her to explain, Ocasio-Cortez responded, “Oh, um. [pause] I think what I meant is like the settlements that are increasing in some of these areas in places where um, where Palestinians are facing difficulty in access to their housing and homes.”

Hoover tried one more time to push Ocasio-Cortez to explain herself, which is when the 28 year-old bartender threw up her hands and declared she had no idea what she was talking about.

Luongo: "US Politics Is Reaching A Breaking Point"

Putin declared the Cold War over. Pat Buchanan agrees and so do I. For as much grief as I give Donald Trump for his many missteps in foreign policy, his going to first Singapore and then Helsinki in the service of peace and better relations is more than commendable.

It was necessary.

Donald Trump may not be the President many of us wanted.

But, like it or not, he is both the president we have and the one we deserve. Our politics have been on a collision course with the bottom of the cesspit since 9/11.

We have bathed in the waters of “the archipelago of War Party think tanks beavering away inside the Beltway,” as Buchanan put it in his recent article, and come out stinking like either liberal interventionists or neoconservatives.

Democrat Adam Smith’s Blatant Lie to Tucker Carlson: “12 Indicted Russians Had Regular Contact with High-Ranking Trump Officials” (VIDEO)

Rep. Adam Smith: The crime is they hacked into our DNC server and did a whole bunch of other disinformation campaigns to try to influence our election. A foreign power tried to do that. Also in this indictment it shows that the twelve Russian operatives had regular contact with high-ranking Trump officials.

Huh?

That’s news. Where the hell did it say that?

Actually, Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein said last week there was no allegation in this indictment that any American citizen committed a crime. Rosenstein said NOTHING about the twelve Russians having ANY CONTACT with ANY Trump official.
This was just a blatant lie by Adam Smith trying desperately to link the Trump campaign to Russia… Something that Democrats, Mueller and the liberal media have been unable to do after a year-and-a-half of investigating.

HONEYMOON is Over: Joe Lieberman Calls For Dems To Reject Ocasio-Cortez

Former Democratic vice-presidential candidate and Connecticut senator Joe Lieberman has come forward to urge New York voters to reject Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez in November and vote for the man she upset in the Democratic primary, incumbent Rep. Joe Crowley. Lieberman also urged Crowley to stay in the race.

Writing in The Wall Street Journal, Lieberman writes:

Because the policies Ms. Ocasio-Cortez advocates are so far from the mainstream, her election in November would make it harder for Congress to stop fighting and start fixing problems … Fortunately, Joe Crowley and the voters in his district can prevent this damage.

Lieberman takes aim at the hard-left wing of the Democratic Party: “Ms. Ocasio-Cortez is a proud member of the Democratic Socialists of America, whose platform, like hers, is more Socialist than Democratic. Her dreams of new federal spending would bankrupt the country or require very large tax increases, including on the working class.”

STOP LEGAL 'HARASSMENT' BY LGBTS, COURT ASKED

The Thomas More Law Society is asking a judge to halt the “harassment” by LGBT activists of a private think tank, the Center for Military Readiness.

The LGBT community has asked a court to subpoena all of CMR’s private communications, records and electronic files for the entirety of Donald Trump’s candidacy and presidency.

The demands include all of the communications on the public policy of transgenders in the military or transgenders in general.

But CMR isn’t even a part of the lawsuit.

Kate Oliveri, TMLC trial counsel and the principal attorney representing CMR, said the “intrusive subpoena seeks information irrelevant to the underlying case in which CMR has no part.”

“It is an example of those pushing identity politics attempting to bully and silence any opposition through an abuse of the legal process,” she said.

The lawsuit between transgender activists and the president is in U.S. district court in Washington state.

James Comey Goes Nuclear Putin Summit

Because we’ve not yet heard enough from James ‘the Leaker’ Comey, we’ve been treated to yet more self-aggrandizing tweets in the last 72 hours that make the president’s seem a bit tame by comparison. Comey blasted Trump after the Putin summit calling for voters to give control to Democrats. This from an alleged ‘Republican’ official. But what’s more inane about his comments are the faux patriotism, as if Comey didn’t lie under oath, use the FBI to collude with the Hillary campaign and aid Obama in illegal monitoring of a presidential campaign. Ironically, that’s the sort of stuff we might expect of the Putin regime.

Here’s more from The Daily Caller…

The president responded to a question from Glor about whether or not he felt that former intelligence agents were “out to get him.” Trump said that he had difficulty trusting their judgement, as they stood vehmently against him.

“Certainly I can’t have any confidence in the past,” Trump said, citing the “all of the shenanigans that have gone on” in the intelligence community under former President Barack Obama.

“Very hard to have confidence in that group,” he added.

When Michael McFaul was the U.S. ambassador to Russia, he used social media to debate policy with everyday Russians and clashed online with the country’s trolls in their own language.

But these days, the Stanford political science professor has a new Twitter nemesis: President Donald Trump.

In a way that’s atypical of most former ambassadors, McFaul, who worked in the Obama administration and served as America’s man in Moscow from 2012 to 2014, has become one of the most prominent public voices criticizing Trump for his Russia and national security policies.

Indictment of 12 Russians: Under the Shiny Wrapping, a Political Act

With great fanfare, Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein on Friday released a 29-page indictment, a byproduct of the ongoing investigation by special counsel Robert Mueller into Russian meddling in the 2016 presidential election. Ostensibly, this indictment cemented the government’s case against the Russians and punched a hole in the arguments of those, like President Trump, who have been labeling Mueller’s investigation a “witch hunt.” This, of course, is precisely what Rosenstein and Mueller hoped to achieve through their carefully timed, and even more carefully scripted, indictment.

Nervous, are we? Ex-ambassador McFaul on defensive over Russia’s wish to question him

Russian prosecutors have named the former US ambassador in Moscow as a person of interest in an investigation – and Michael McFaul appears to be quite unnerved. He seems to think Russian President Vladimir Putin is after him.

McFaul, who served as US envoy to Russia during Barack Obama’s presidency, proudly claims to be Putin’s personal foe. But now he is apparently pretty spooked about the possibility that the Russian leader took a personal interest in him and spoke about him with US President Donald Trump in Helsinki.

Of course, Russia gave McFaul some reason to stand up and take notice, naming him as a person of interest in its probe against financier-turned-anti-Russia crusader Bill Browder. A businessman who ran a lucrative hedge fund in Russia, Browder became an avid critic of the Kremlin. He says his years of lobbying against Russia were motivated by the death of a friend in a Russian prison.

Former President Barack Obama on Wednesday told young African leaders in Johannesburg, South Africa, that he would like to see more women enter the political fray because he is growing increasingly frustrated with men.

AS AMERICANS ARGUE OVER RUSSIA, US GOV’T QUIETLY ALLOWS ‘DARK MONEY’ GROUPS TO KEEP DONORS SECRET

While politicians and mainstream media outlets obsess over President Trump’s recent press conference with Russian President Putin, the United State Treasury quietly announced that it will no longer force “dark-money” groups or certain tax-exempt organizations to disclose their financial donors.

While traditional charity groups must still disclose donors in order to receive tax-exempt donations, the change allows labor unions, nonprofits and issue advocacy groups to be free from being forced to adhere to confidential disclosure requirements.

In a statement praising the new rule, U.S. Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin said, “Americans shouldn’t be required to send the IRS information that it doesn’t need to effectively enforce our tax laws, and the IRS simply does not need tax returns with donor names and addresses to do its job in this area.”
