Bavaria Riot: Migrants Attack Policemen, Set Refugee Centre on Fire

Eleven people, including one policeman, have been injured as a result of unrest in a so-called anchor centre for migrants in the southern Germany. Several Eritrean nationals are said to have attacked security staffers and policemen with stones and metal bars, as well as set the building on fire. A police raid later revealed drugs and stolen goods.

Several people were detained following a violent outburst in the Upper Franconian Anchor Centre for migrants in the northern Bavarian town of Bamberg. Police were called to the site after a disturbance was reported on Tuesday night. The patrol that first arrived on the scene was attacked with paving stones and other objects. Therefore, reinforcements were deployed, who surrounded the building.

Yellow Vests Rise Against Neo-Liberal ‘King’ Macron

As everybody knows, what set off the protest movement was yet another rise in gasoline taxes. But it was immediately clear that much more was involved. The gasoline tax was the last straw in a long series of measures favoring the rich at the expense of the majority of the population. That is why the movement achieved almost instant popularity and support.

Signs of Coming Collapse: Citizens Worldwide Revolt Against Taxation & Illegal Aliens

There are many serious issues to address, relevant to current events. Just to skim some of what has happened most recently, the Dow Jones (although a “lagging” indicator) has been extremely volatile within the past month, appearing to be headed toward a loss for the year overall. Spending is down, and the “bubble” of pseudo-consumer confidence prior to Thanksgiving seems to have dissipated.

The main focus: the unrest that is swiftly crossing national borders has a common denominator in France, and now in Belgium and the Netherlands. That common denominator is that of the populace being fed up with the amount of taxation, coupled with the politicos pushing illegal Muslim aliens into nations that have been predominantly Christian for almost a thousand years.

Europe holds its breath as Macron scrambles to quell protests

Not just France but Europe should hope the tax concessions and minimum wage rise Emmanuel Macron announced on Monday will prove sufficient to quell more than a month of violent and destabilising anti-government protests.

With more than 1,250 people arrested, 400 injured and an economic cost running into billions, the gilets jaunes revolt represents a formidable challenge to the authority of the centrist president, widely seen by his critics as arrogant and out of touch. If he flunks the test, he will not be alone in paying a price.

French opposition rejects Macron’s concessions to Yellow Vests, some demand ‘citizen revolution’

Macron’s concessions to the Yellow Vests has failed to appease protesters and opposition politicians, such as Jean-Luc Mélenchon, who called for “citizen’s revolution” to continue until a fair distribution of wealth is achieved.
Immediately after French President Macron declared a “social and economic state of emergency” in response to large-scale protests by members of the Yellow Vest movement, promising a range of concessions to address their grievances, left-wing opposition politician Mélenchon called on the grassroots campaign to continue their revolution next Saturday.

Macron surrenders to Yellow Vests: French President hikes minimum wage, axes overtime tax and slashes pension contributions as he declares state of emergency after weeks of riots

French president Emmanuel Macron tonight announced a range of dramatic Socialist-style financial concessions to struggling workers so as to end an 'economic and social state of emergency'.

In a TV address lasting 12 minutes, he said a month of rioting and blockades justified a €100 (£90) per month increase in the minimum wage, taking it to €1498 (£1360).

This will not 'cost anything to the employer', said Mr Macron, and will be accompanied by all taxes and other charges on overtimes being scrapped.

There were also be an end-of-year bonus that employers can pay without being charged by the government, while taxes on those earning less than €2000 (£1800) will also end on January 1.

Mr Macron also ruled out any return of the Solidarity Wealth Tax, saying that he wanted to stop rich entrepreneurs 'moving abroad', so preventing 'job creation'.

'Yellow Vests' are Outcome of EU's Decade-Long Austerity Measures – Activist

The European Commission's decade-long tough austerity measures coupled with excessive taxation have resulted in the "yellow vests" movement, Andy Vermaut, a Belgian human rights activist, told Sputnik.

"In reality, the struggle of the Gilet Jaunes [Yellow Vests] is a cry for help from people who struggle every month for existence", said Andy Vermaut, a Belgian human rights activist, emphasising that "working is no longer a guarantee for being able to exist properly" in Europe.

The "yellow vest" protests have engulfed France since November 17 with around 136,000 people having participated in the protests nationwide on December 8, according to France 24 television broadcaster. Meanwhile, the number of those arrested have mounted to over 1,700.

A Crisis in the Making: Know Your Rights or You Will Lose Them

We are approaching critical mass, the point at which all hell breaks loose.

The government is pushing us ever closer to a constitutional crisis.

What makes the outlook so much bleaker is the utter ignorance of the American people—and those who represent them—about their freedoms, history, and how the government is supposed to operate.

As Morris Berman points out in his book Dark Ages America, “70 percent of American adults cannot name their senators or congressmen; more than half don't know the actual number of senators, and nearly a quarter cannot name a single right guaranteed by the First Amendment. Sixty-three percent cannot name the three branches of government. Other studies reveal that uninformed or undecided voters often vote for the candidate whose name and packaging (e.g., logo) are the most powerful; color is apparently a major factor in their decision.”

Meanwhile thousands of students angered by Macron's education reforms joined the Yellow Vests on the streets for a 'black Tuesday' of unrest, further complicating matters for the French President.

French Lessons

French people are standing up for their rights and speaking out for many others around the world who are sick at the injustice of capitalism. None more so than people of Western states who have had to endure decades of economic austerity while a tiny elite become ever more obscenely wealthy.

In addition to the irrational malign distribution of wealth that capitalism bestows, Western states — that is, the oligarch-serving politicians — spend and waste inordinate financial resources on militarism and waging criminal wars.

For the fourth weekend in a row, the French public have taken to the streets of Paris and other major cities to demand economic justice.
They also want President Emmanuel Macron to resign. Macron has so far kept his usual aloof silence on the protests, leaving it up to his prime minister Edouard Philippe to placate the angry nation.

In addition, according to the Alliance for Securing Democracy, about 600 Twitter accounts allegedly linked to the Kremlin have begun focusing on France, boosting their use of the hashtag #giletsjaunes.

France's Yellow Vest movement strikes a victory for working people across the EU

Though the Gilet Jaunes (Yellow Vest) movement in France may appear to have erupted from nowhere, its arrival has been a long time coming.
“Men make their own history,” Karl Marx reminds us, “but not of their own free will; not under circumstances they themselves have chosen but under the given and inherited circumstances with which they are directly confronted.”

And confronting the thousands of Yellow Vest protesters who’ve been laying siege to central Paris these past few weeks – along with millions of ordinary working people across France – have been and are the deepening consequences of a broken and defunct neoliberal economic model, compounded by the refusal of its prime movers, chief among them French President Emmanuel Macron, to wake up to the deepening dystopia fashioned in its name.

France is the new tax hell in Europe and beyond

France leads with 46.2 percent of GDP against the average of 34.2 percent of other members, thus dropping the long-standing leader in the rating, Denmark.

The Scandinavian country’s numbers, meanwhile, shrank to 46 percent, down by 0.2 since last year. Sweden, Italy, and Greece round out the top five, while Mexico is the last on the list at 16.2 percent.

Yellow Vests 'Spokesman' Warns Against Protests in Paris

"The demands made by the Yellow Vests movement related to all of us. The time to organize legally and express solidarity with them for the benefit of all has come", Vigi's post reads.

Elysee fears ‘putschists’, coup attempt during Yellow Vests protests this weekend – media

With more Yellow Vests protests approaching this weekend Elysee Palace is worried about a possible coup attempt. Calls have been made to attack parliamentarians and police forces, French media report.

Even though the French government abandoned the fuel tax hike after sweeping protests, the movement still calls upon its followers to gather on December 8. “The Act IV” will be held under the motto “we stay on our course.” The Facebook event has already counted 6,000 people who wish to participate and 22,000 others who are “interested.”

French Citizens Want Cheaper Energy, not Global Warming Elitism

Op-Ed by David Unsworth

Diesel moves France. Whereas in the United States diesel is increasingly a rarity used mainly to fuel heavy trucks, drivers in France and much of Europe have diesel cars. In past generations, diesel was believed to be more environmentally friendly. Today, it turns out that is not the case. Diesel is actually far worse for the environment than traditional gasoline.

This weekend, anger over a 6 percent increase on diesel taxes led to the largest and most violent protests France has seen since the 1960s. The “gilets jaunes” (or yellow vests in English) are so named because they don reflective bright yellow-colored vests that all French motorists are required to have in their vehicles when they take to the streets...

Alameda and Contra Costa County Sheriffs Flew Drones Over Protests

By Dave Maass and Mike Katz-Lacabe

“We don’t want to use them when people are exercising freedom of speech,” Orlando Police Sgt. Jeffrey Blye told the audience during the best practices portion of his talk. “Because that will destroy your program quickly.”

That is excellent advice for police departments, but sheriffs in the San Francisco Bay Area have chosen not to follow it...

France's Yellow Vest movement strikes a victory for working people across the EU

The French government’s decision to suspend the proposed levy on fuel was a victory for the French people, whose tradition of fighting and struggling for the right to a quality of life consistent with human dignity is centuries old.

In forcing Macron – whose disregard for those at the sharp end of the neoliberal god he worships has been inordinate – to back down, the Yellow Vest movement has rendered working people throughout the EU a great and significant service, reminding them that passivity in the face of injustice only succeeds in inviting more injustice.

Macron’s initial ‘let them eat cake’ refusal to countenance backing down (before, that is, he did back down), proclaiming with the bombast of the mouse to the cat that “People complaining about rising fuel prices are the same ones who complain about pollution and how their children suffer,” will follow him all the way to his resignation or the next French presidential election, whichever comes first.

Macron Blinks: France Suspends Fuel Tax Hike After "Yellow Vest" Riots... But It's Not Enough

Despite French President Emmanuel Macron letting his people "eat cake" with a six-month suspension of the government's new "climate change" fuel taxes, the so-called "Yellow Vest" movement which has been protesting throughout France for more than three weeks is still spitting mad.

The Real Significance Of The French Tax Revolt

At some point, it is too much. Just as the citizens suffering under Soviet rule finally said no more, the people suffering under social-democratic rule might someday do the same. Observers have waited decades to see reforms that might forestall such a thing. Reforms haven’t happened. Now the people are in the streets, setting fires and protesting the police. -- And it’s not just France. It’s spreading to Belgium and the Netherlands – the building of a European Spring. -- What we see in Paris today might be the end of social democracy as we know it. What comes in its place is what the battle of ideas today is really about.

Paris Tax Revolts: The World Begins To Realize The Truth About Government

The world appears to be slowly awakening to the disaster that governments have caused and funded by theft over the course of human history. The French revolts, which began over an increase in the petrol tax, left 133 people injured and over 400 arrested after the people rose up finally realizing that all taxation is theft.

As governments across the globe increasingly enslave the tax cattle, more and more are waking up to the violence and horrific atrocities committed in the name of government with funds stolen from innocent people. Paris was only the latest example of people beginning to realize they are enslaved to the political elites and are finally demanding their freedom and refusing to be stolen from any longer.

Riot police clash with ambulance drivers in France in latest anti-government protest

Paramedics today clashed with riot police in France as dozens of ambulances joined ongoing anti-government protests.

The vehicles blocked a bridge leading to the National Assembly in Paris on Monday.

Lines of riot police officers stood in the rain to prevent the ambulance workers from getting too close to the building.

Ambulance drivers were also pictured facing off with officers during a demonstration at the Place de la Concorde.

Revolt Against Globalism

The Great Awakening is happening right now. Human beings are tired of the corruption, destruction and manipulation of the ruling class elite (RCE). The mainstream media, which is a pawn of the RCE, is constantly trying to distract us, they use divisive issues to create collective emotional responses, often violent, in their ‘victim’ Proletariat class.

Racism, sexism, transsexual rights are all tools to control the proletariat with a constant supply of manufactured emotional cues. The government maintains control with these type of issues, pushing them to the forefront, dividing our society into tiny pieces, division being the prime tool of the RCE. With maximum emotional distraction at play, the populace forgets what truly matters, the one thing everyone has in common: economics rights.

The Real Significance of the French Tax Revolt

By Peter C. Earle

The gilets jaunes (Yellow Jacket) anti-tax riots in France escalated over the past weekend, again citing the impact of higher taxes on fossil fuels – and high levels of taxation in general – on everyday life. French citizens, already subject to the highest taxes in the OECD, are being crushed by both new and systematically increasing taxes, and have taken to the streets by the hundreds of thousands in a “citizen’s revolution”. Recommendations to declare a state of emergency have for the time being been tabled.

With no sense of irony whatsoever, in a press conference on Saturday French President Emmanuel Macron stated: “I will never accept violence.”

Yet violence is the core component of his chosen vocation as a statesman...

Macron On Edge As Up To 120,000 Angry "Yellow Vests" Prepare To Storm The Bastille

French President Emmanuel Macron may institute emergency tax cuts in an attempt to stem violent protests which have gripped France for three weeks, according to Bloomberg.

The government is increasingly worried that the economy, alongside its own political fortunes, is threatened by demonstrations against fuel taxes that have spiraled into a push-back against Macron’s policies.

Finance Minister Bruno Le Maire said the impact of the riots was “severe,” and left a meeting of finance ministers in Brussels to return to Paris for crisis talks with colleagues. -Bloomberg

‘Yellow Vest’ Protesters Aren’t May 1968 Students, They’re Sans-Culottes

What began as a spontaneous explosion of anger at a surge in fuel prices set by the French government last month has become a nationwide conflagration called the “Gilets Jaunes” or “Yellow Vests” after the reflective safety clothing item. Showing no signs of stopping, its demands and base have expanded amid state intransigence.

Hundreds of thousands of French people have joined the protests since November 17, many of them peaceful but with an increasingly visible and large part of them becoming riots. Over 70 percent of French people polled said they support the movement, although an even higher percentage said they disapproved of the violence, which is mostly centered in Paris.

Great Coverage of Astounding 'Yellow Vest' Violence From Russian TV: 'Macron Might Have to Resign'

The French really shot themselves in the foot by electing Macron in the first place and now the people are rioting in protest of his policies. They are getting so extreme that it appears Macron may even be forced to resign. But are these legitimate grassroots protests?

The host points out that this protest looks remarkably similar to ‘color revolutions’ that the US has been known to produce, which could make sense since they started shortly after Macron announced plans for a European Army to succeed US-led NATO.

Regardless, Macron is immensely unpopular with an approval rating around 25%, while the protestors enjoy massive public approval.

Revolution in Ukraine? Yes, please! Revolution in France? Rule of law!

When violent protests shook Kiev in 2013, Western analysts and leaders quickly threw their support behind the anti-government ‘revolution’ — but after weeks of Yellow Vest protests in France, the reaction has been very different.

While Western governments and commentators denounced the Ukrainian government of Viktor Yanukovych and urged that he give in to protesters’ demands five years ago, this time around, they are denouncing the French protesters and urging President Emmanuel Macron, whose popularity stands at about 25 percent, to stand firm against dissatisfied citizens.

French students block high schools, burn cars and throw stones at police amid massive protests

While still reeling from the recent violent fuel protests, France has been hit by another wave of nationwide riots. Crowds of angry students have blocked schools across France in protest against the education reform.

Thousands of high school students flooded the streets of French cities on Monday, their protest quickly turning violent. Angry youths, who initially came out following the call of the National Union of High School Students (UNL), started erecting barricades and burning cars.

The Worst Riots In Generations Sparked In Paris. Here's Why.

Violent protests ravaged Paris, France on Saturday when French citizens became upset about rising taxes and the high cost of living, USA Today reported. According to police, 133 were injured and 412 were arrested. This isn't the first time violent protests hit the capital. In fact, this is the third straight weekend that violence has taken place in Paris. The violence initially began on Nov. 17th when a gas tax increase was announced. The riots that took place this weekend, however, have been considered to be the worst one in a generation.

French President Emmanuel Macron on Sunday visited the Arc de Triomphe monument, which was graffitied during the riots. Macron vowed to hold those responsible for the damage accountable.

THE POLITICAL REBELLION GATHERS MOMENTUM

The Ruling Class that wants us to love our servitude incites us to seek divisions: between red and blue, left and right, progressive and conservative, and so on. The Ruling Class in the mainstream media, in Washington D.C. and in Silicon Valley are experts at manipulating language and terminology to divide and conquer.

But beneath the superficial red-blue divide they are hawking, a broad-based political rebellion against the Oligarchy and their Ruling Class nomenklatura is gathering momentum. People left, right and center are awakening to two painfully obvious realities:

1. the political-social-economic system no longer works for the bottom 95%

2. the system is intrinsically unfair–rigged to benefit the few at the expense of the many.

President Emanuel Macron seems to be taking the lead balloon approach to popularity. His approval rating has been in free-fall and has dropped another (-3) to a shockingly new low of 23 per cent in Viavoice’s 29 November poll.

In fact, as a favour to Mr. Macron, I will share the only number of his that is on the incline, his DISAPPROVAL rating is skyrocketing to 69 per cent!
