The Secret Betrayal

From 1943 until early 1947 Western countries, led by Britain and the United States, returned nearly two and a half million prisoners of war and refugees to the Soviet Union, regardless of their individual wishes ... During the summer of 1944 the British began to ship thousands of Russians from POW and refugee camps to the USSR. When informed of their destination, many of the prisoners committed suicide. The Foreign Office did what it could to suppress news of the suicides ... British officers who delivered prisoners to Soviet ports, such as Murmansk and Odessa, witnessed NKVD execution squads murder Russians as they left ship.

Fifteen Years of Forever Wars

In 2018, the Cost of War Project at Brown's Watson Institute documents American involvement in some level of combat in 76 nations. For at least the past 15 years, we have been creating more terrorists than we kill ... We cannot erase past errors. We can and should learn from them. Yet we do not seem to be doing so. Instead, we continue to repeat our blunders ... Today our homeland is shabbier and we are less - not more - secure than we were before we began our rampage through the Muslim world ... All our current wars are extra-constitutional ... And, all these wars began as illegal invasions of foreign sovereignty and breaches of the peace under the UN Charter and international law.

Yet Another US-Saudi Massacre In Yemen: UN Condemns Airstrike Killing 22 Children

Just two weeks after a US-Saudi coalition airstrike on a school bus in Yemen killed some 40 children in an event which finally caught international media attention, there's a new report that coalition jets have struck a camp for internally displaced people in the flashpoint region of Hodeidah.

Pro-Houthi rebel outlets were the first to report the massacre, which was quickly picked up in international media. According to reports, at least 22 children and four women were killed.

"[The victims were] dead children and women. [It was a] disgusting crime," the Houthi-run Al Masirah TV network reported Thursday. Refugees were reportedly fleeing fighting in the area area when the airstrike occurred.

Monsanto Liable for Agent Orange Damage, Vietnam Reiterates

Monsanto was one of the producers of Agent Orange, a defoliant used by U.S. troops to strip Vietnamese forces of ground cover and food. Between 1961 and 1971 the U.S. Army sprayed some 80 million liters of Agent Orange over 30,000 square miles of southern Vietnam.

Dioxin, a highly toxic chemical in the defoliant, has been linked to many major health problems such as cancer, mental disabilities and birth defects.

Millions of Vietnamese over several generations have suffered from health problems due to exposure to Agent Orange, according to government data.

In 2004, Vietnamese victims of Agent Orange filed a class action lawsuit in a New York court against Monsanto, Dow Chemical and more than 30 manufacturers of the toxic defoliant. The case was however dismissed by the U.S. court citing lack of evidence.

Vietnam demands Monsanto compensate Agent Orange victims after US cancer ruling precedent

Around three million people in Vietnam were exposed to Agent Orange during a brutal chemical warfare campaign between 1961 and 1971, in which 12 million gallons of herbicide produced by Monsanto Corporation, among others, were dropped over the jungle to defoliate it. Because of such a high level of exposure to dioxin, a byproduct found in Agent Orange, millions of Vietnamese continue to suffer health conditions, often resulting in deformities which are passed through gene mutations to future generations.

70,000 Whites Murdered in ‘Modern’ South Africa; Obama’s African Legacy

Since Nelson Mandela and the communist African National Congress (ANC) took over South Africa, more than 70,000 whites have been murdered and untold numbers have been robbed, raped and tortured.

But you will not hear about this in the Western media, which fawns over the black terrorists who now run the once-prosperous country.

Claudia Bryan is a South African activist living in London. Her grandmother owned a bakery in South Africa. One day six blacks entered the bakery and gang-raped her. They then tried to shoot her. The gun jammed. In anger they gang raped her again and the 70-something woman died. Robbery was not the motive.

‘FARM MURDER and RAPE’: Nearly 400 White Farmers Killed in South Africa in 12 Months

South African farming activists are outraged at the lack of police action following a series of brutal attacks on white farmers.

Many in the farming community are disturbed by a newly introduced motion that rules land can be seized without any financial recompense. Critics believe that the proposal to amend Section 25 of the constitution has enabled disgruntled members of the community to invade and steal farmland without fear of legal consequences.

Civil rights organization AfriForum has alleged that there have been 109 recorded attacks so far in 2018 and 15 farm murders, which means that one white farmer has been killed every five days this year. “Our rural areas are trapped in a crime war. Although the South African government denies that a violence crisis is staring rural areas in the face, the numbers prove that excessive violence plague these areas,” said Ian Cameron, AfriForum’s Head of Safety, as reported by Newsweek.

Nine gruesome farm attacks that shocked South Africans

Nowhere in the world have people being brutally attacked and murdered by black attackers like white farmers in South Africa. It is reported that every 17 hours for the last five years, a white person was either attacked or murdered by black in their homes. Between January 2010 and January 2015, more than 2 500 violent attackers by blacks against whites were registered. 2008 of the whites were tortured to death and suffered mental torture by being forced to watch the gang-rape of their wives and daughters.

Below is a recollection of some of the bloodiest, cruel murders against farmers who died at the hands of merciless murderers who savagely bludgeoned innocent people, including children.

Farmers in South Africa claim they are being targeted in 'horrific' attacks

White farmers in South Africa claim they are being targeted in a series of brutal attacks over land that are being overlooked by police and implicitly encouraged by the country’s parliament.

Activist groups promoting the rights of white people in the country claim there have been 90 recorded attacks in 2018 so far, with one farmer murdered every five days on average.

But the sheer brutality of the reported attacks – and the growing anger of a community in South Africa that believes it is being persecuted – are increasingly raising concerns.

The Independent spoke to a woman who described how she was gang raped by three men who invaded her family home, and a man whose brother was gunned down at the age of 21 and said he believed race to be a factor in the killing.

A WHITE FARMER IS KILLED EVERY FIVE DAYS IN SOUTH AFRICA AND AUTHORITIES DO NOTHING ABOUT IT, ACTIVISTS SAY

Activists say South African authorities are tacitly approving attacks on the country’s white farmers, with one being murdered every five days, and the police turning a blind eye to the violence.

The white nationalist lobbying group AfriForum says that when lawmakers passed a motion last month which could see land being seized from farmers without compensation, it sent a message that landowners could be attacked with impunity.

It said there have been 109 recorded attacks so far in 2018 and 15 farm murders, meaning that this year, one white farmer has been killed every five days.

US Occupying Iraq Forever Is Last Thing World Needs Now

Going against international law and what the international civil society wants, which is troop withdrawal, Col Sean Ryan, a spokesman for the US-led coalition in Iraq, says that US troops are intending to remain in Iraq “as long as we think they’re needed.” He says this is vital to the stabilization efforts in post-ISIL Iraq.

This is in keeping with other comments out of the Pentagon, where officials more or less uniformly envision a permanent US military occupation of Iraq, and have not been shy in saying so. And don’t believe it when President Trump says he’s keen to withdraw troops once ISIL is defeated.

Also, don’t believe it when Col. Ryan says it is possible there could be some minor drawdowns of US troops from Iraq in the future>>>

Afghanistan: The War That Shames America

***
This week, Taliban forces occupied the important strategic city of Ghazni on the road from Peshawar to Kabul. It took three days and massive air attacks by US B-1 heavy bombers, Apache helicopter gun ships, A-10 ground attack aircraft, and massed warplanes from US bases in Afghanistan, Pakistan, Qatar and the 5th US Fleet to finally drive back the Taliban assault. Taliban also overran key military targets in Kabul and the countryside, killing hundreds of government troops in a sort of Afghan Tet offensive.

Afghan regime police and army units put up feeble resistance or ran away. Parts of Ghazni were left in ruins. It was a huge embarrassment to the US imperial generals and their Afghan satraps who had claimed ‘the corner in Afghanistan has finally been turned.’

Efforts by the Trump administration to bomb Taliban into submission have clearly failed.>>>

Torture and Abuse in America’s Global Gulag

Societies are best judged by how they treat children, the elderly, the infirm, their most disadvantaged and prisoners.

America and Israel are the only developed nations officially permitting the practice.

The Bush/Cheney regime “Torture Memo” discarded all legal restraints.

It authorized extreme interrogation methods amounting to torture, including infliction of “intense pain or suffering” short of what would cause “serious physical injury so severe that death, organ failure, (loss of significant body functions), or permanent damage.”

It swept away habeas rights, due process, and equal protection under law – core legal protections for everyone charged, detained or imprisoned.

The Obama regime continued illegal torture and abusive practices. So do hardliners in charge of Trump regime’s geopolitical policies.

America’s gulag prison system operates at home and abroad, including unknown numbers of global black sites in numerous countries.

Houthis: New child killing in Yemen ‘disgrace to Saudi, US’

Yemen’s Houthi Ansarullah movement says a recent deadly strike by the Saudi-led coalition on the northwestern Sa’ada Province, which massacred dozens of children, is a disgrace to the Riyadh regime and the US, the main arms supplier to the kingdom.

In an interview on Wednesday with Yemen’s al-Masirah, Houthi spokesman Mohammed Abdulsalam criticized the United Nations for its inaction on the Saudi regime’s new instance of child killing.

Yemen, he said, does not pin its hopes on the world body for any effort towards ending the Saudi-led war, but rather relies on its own nation and other freedom-seeking people to that end.

The August 9 Saudi air raid on Sa’ada hit a school bus as it drove through a market in the town of Dhahyan, sparking outrage from international human rights groups and UN officials.

DRR’s southern areas under intense mortar shelling by Ukrainian troops

Southern regions of the self-proclaimed Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR) came under intense mortar shelling by Ukrainian troops on Tuesday evening, a spokesman for the DPR’s operations command reported. "The villages of Kominternovo and Leninskoye in the south of our republic came under shelling by Ukraine’s 36th brigade. More than a hundred mines of various caliber were fired. Shelling was also conducted from weapons of armored infantry carriers and grenade launchers," the Donetsk News Agency quoted him as saying. According to the spokesman, several buildings caught fire as a result of shelling. Since the autumn of 2014, more than 20 ceasefires have been agreed in Donbass, but none stayed in place for long, with Ukrainian troops violating them shorty after they came into effect. Notably, Ukrainian troops reportedly use heavy weapons that are to be pulled out of the buffer zone under the Minsk agreements.

US Bomb Pieces Found at Yemen Bus Strike Site as Pentagon Says ‘We May Never Know’ Who Supplied It

A Raytheon Mark 82 general-purpose free-fall bomb was likely used by the Saudi-led coalition to strike a bus full of children in Yemen on Thursday, a local journalist claims, after bomb fragments from the scene were recovered.

The Saudi-led coalition struck a school bus in the Dahyan area of the Houthi-controlled Saada province last Thursday, leaving 51 dead, most of them children, and injuring at least 79 others. Just as the dust was settling at the scene of the strike with charred bodies being recovered, locals found fragments of the bomb used.

SECRET REPORT REVEALS TORTURE USED IN SAUDI-LED COALITION PRISONS IN YEMEN

Al Jazeera received a secret report prepared by former military officials who worked with the Saudi-UAE alliance in Yemen on the conditions of prisons and secret detention centres and forced disappearances.

The information in the report matched the testimonies of prisoners and abductees given to human rights activists. Such details also reinforced what had been revealed by the Associated Press in previous investigations.

The report revealed some of the atrocities taking place in these secret UAE-controlled prisons situated in southern Yemen. The violations range from murdering detainees and abductees to torture and deprivation. Moreover, the report listed sites and names of secret graves, detainees tortured to death and missing persons, as well as identities of the torturers and the details of interrogations

Webmaster's Commentary:

Remember when Gina Haspel, now head of the CIA, assured Congressional Representatives, that torture would never happen again on her watch, no matter where in the world?!?

Who is arming, funding, and advising the Saudis on their genocide in Yemen?!?

Were I the same Congressional Representatives who interviewed her, and heard those promises in English she made about never having this happen again, and understanding what was now going on in Yemen, Courtesy of the UAE, and I would put her back side right back into the investigative chair, and ask her why she is allowing the UAE to do this.

Or, perhaps, given the proclivities of some members of the US Deep State to "get off" on this kind of torture, psychologically, one might say that, perhaps, she has already been given a "get out of jail, fee" card, with her defense as being given that "she is not in control" of UAE torture in Yemen.

While this may be technically true, that Haspel, apparently, is making absolutely zero moves to stop this, while the best intellects in intelligence work, claim, irrefutably, that torture does not work, and only gets the tortured person to say what the torturers to say to get the torture to stop, means that she is, personally, ethically and morally, cheering the torturers on.

The leadership of this country had a choice with her nomination; they could have chosen a Hanns Scharrf-like character, a German-born American and British world War II hero, who never used torture to get intelligence from his prisoners, but was unfailingly kind, and used to get them day passes for cultural events, or someone with the human rights sensitivities just to the right of those of Attila the Hun.

You have seen the direction this Government has chosen to go, with Haspel's confirmation, and that makes me very much fear for the future of my country.

THE HOMECOMING: How Ahed Tamimi Became the Symbol of Palestinian Resistance to Israeli Oppression

Ahed’s story drew rare attention to the plight of Palestinian children held in Israeli military prisons — an overwhelming majority of them over stone-throwing incidents or for participation in protests — and the sham court proceedings, abuse and threat-filled interrogations, and extracted confessions to which they are subject. In the weeks before Ahed’s release, The Intercept spoke with more than a dozen formerly imprisoned children, parents of children currently in prison, attorneys and advocates, as well as several members of the Tamimi family. They shared similar stories of predawn raids during which soldiers separated children from their families, physically and verbally assaulted them, blindfolded and handcuffed them, and drove them to interrogation centers where — almost always without an attorney or parent present — they were subjected to further abuse and forced to confess, before being summarily sentenced to months in prison.

The Israeli government and military believe that they can abuse, torture, and kill Palestinians, and particularly Palestinian children, with impunity; that is why the BDS movement is so critically important, and right the heck now.

Why am I still in Guantánamo after 14 years?

I am officially a prisoner of war, though the only battle I ever fought back home, as a taxi driver in Karachi, was the rush hour traffic. I was mistaken for an extremist, captured by Gen. Pervez Musharraf’s government and sold to the CIA for a bounty in 2002. I’ve now been detained at Guantánamo, without trial, for nearly 14 years.

President Trump’s lawyers argued in court this month that I and other Guantánamo prisoners who have filed habeas corpus petitions could be held by the U.S. government for a hundred years, if that is how long the “conflict” lasts.

Webmaster's Commentary:

The American Deep State can never, ever admit that they have done anything, or signed off on anything, which is completely, utterly morally wrong; with the indefinite imprisonment of prisoners of war at Gitmo, it has done something horribly wrong.

One of the pillars of American law used to be a right to a fair trial, even for POWs; but that will not happen for the men accused of crimes they may well not have committed. They will simply rot in prison, with no chance of a trial, because there has been enough discovery by their attorneys, at this point, to establish reasonable doubt in the minds of these military judges.

So these men will not be tried: because if they were able to prove their innocence against the charges leveled against them, the American Deep State would have to admit that it had been wrong, and caused something wrong to happen to them.

And in this same insane, Terry Gilliam's "Brazil", gestapo-like, Unhinged, Surveilled State of Amerika, the following occurred just last week: Joe Biden's Niece gets probation in a $110,000 credit card case.

Nice to be connected to the elite in this country, isn't it?!? Far better than being a Middle Eastern POW who knows that they will rot and die in jail at Gitmo, because the American Deep State "Never Makes Mistakes" with whom it imprisons.

Why We Know So Little About the U.S.-Backed War in Yemen

Yemen is a catastrophe on a scale similar to Syria, but coverage in the United States has been sporadic at best. PBS News Hour did a thorough three-part series, but MSNBC, for instance, has barely mentioned the crisis in a year, during a period when it has done 455 segments on Stormy Daniels (this according to media reporter Adam Johnson).

The reason for inattention is obvious: The United States bears real responsibility for the crisis. A quote from a Yemeni doctor found in PBS reporter Jane Ferguson’s piece sums it up:

“The missiles that kill us, American-made. The planes that kill us, American-made. The tanks … American-made. You are saying to me, where is America? America is the whole thing.”

On Israel’s little-known concentration and labor camps in 1948-1955

Much of the grim and murky circumstances of the Zionist ethnic cleansing of Palestinians in the late 1940s have gradually been exposed over time. One aspect – rarely researched or deeply discussed – is the internment of thousands of Palestinian civilians within at least 22 Zionist-run concentration and labor camps that existed from 1948 to 1955. Now more is known about the contours of this historical crime, due to the comprehensive research by renowned Palestinian historian Salman Abu Sitta and founding member of the Palestinian resource center BADIL Terry Rempel.

The facts are these.

US Intelligence Community as a Collapse Driver

In recent years, the US intelligence agencies have decided that torturing prisoners is a good idea, but they have mostly been torturing innocent bystanders, not professional spies, sometimes forcing them to invent things, such as “Al Qaeda.” There was no such thing before US intelligence popularized it as a brand among Islamic terrorists.

UK military drone operators could be ‘liable for murder prosecution,’ report suggests

UK military personnel engaging in US-led drone operations in Syria and Iraq are at risk of being “liable to prosecution for murder” due to the government not setting a "clear policy and sound legal basis," a report warns.

There is a growing concern that the UK was complicit in civilian deaths by supporting a US-led drone program that was committing unlawful acts - making British personnel open to prosecution, the All-Party Parliamentary Group (APPG) report said.

"In its current form, assistance to partners is putting the UK and its personnel at risk of criminal liability. UK use of force or assistance to partners in drone strikes outside situations of armed conflict are not protected by combatant immunity, therefore making personnel liable to prosecution for murder."

Adam Garrie: US Veto Power, A Weapon of Mass Obstruction Granting Impunity for Israeli Killings

Geopolitical expert Adam Garrie says that the Israeli regime’s possession of nuclear weapons and the American veto power at the UN Security Council have provided the regime with a feeling of impunity for their daily violations of international laws.
Speaking in an exclusive interview with FNA, Adam Garrie said that the US exercises its veto power “like a weapon of mass obstruction” to shield the Zionist regime at the UN Security Council.

Mr. Garrie believes that the US Ambassador to the UN, Nikki Haley, acts more like the Ambassador of the Zionist regime than that of the United States. He likened the UN Security Council to “a shopping center where Zionist propaganda is for sale” and the US envoy to “a shop keeper lying to her customers” while trying to insult the intelligence of the whole world.

Since the arrival of the UN-backed Government of National Accord (GNA) in Tripoli in March 2016, four large local militias have gradually divided up the capital between themselves. Though nominally loyal to the government, they now exert a degree of influence over state institutions and resources that is unprecedented in post-Qaddafi Libya. This Paper examines the rise of a militia cartel in Tripoli, and concludes that the situation is untenable, as it risks provoking a major new conflict over Tripoli fought by those who have been excluded from access to the state and impedes efforts to establish a meaningful unity government. >>

Saudi King absolves troops of any future accountability for their conduct in Yemen war

A royal decree by Saudi King Salman has ‘pre-exonerated’ all troops fighting in Yemen from any accountability issues they may face over their conduct in the war, in which thousands of civilians have been killed and wounded.

A statement announcing the early pardon, released by Saudi Arabia's state news agency SPA, said the pardon extends to “all military men across the armed forces” taking part in Operation Restoring Hope, citing the official codename of the Riyadh-led invasion of Yemen.

Saudi Arabia Issues Royal Pardon for Everything Soldiers Have Done in Yemen

On Tuesday, Saudi Arabia announced that it is issuing a royal pardon for any and all Saudi troops engaged in the war in Yemen, covering all crimes related to violating military rules and discipline. They said this is to show appreciation for the “heroics” of the invading forces.

The Saudi invasion of Yemen has been widely controversial internationally. Saudi airstrikes have killed massive numbers of Yemeni civilians, and the war has also caused a famine, and the largest cholera epidemic in human history.

Faced with UN criticism, Saudi officials heavily resisted allegations of wrongdoing, and ultimately got the UN to agree that Saudi Arabia would be allowed to investigate its own forces, and police themselves. This pardon shows none of that is going to matter.

Israel blames Hamas for deaths of children its soldiers killed

Israeli forces shot 22-year-old Muhammad Abu Halima in the chest, killing him, during protests east of Gaza City on Friday.

Nearly 400 people were injured along Gaza’s eastern boundary on the 15th consecutive week of the Great March of Return demonstrations. Nearly 60 were wounded with live ammunition, according to Gaza’s health ministry.

On Wednesday the health ministry announced that Mahmoud Majid al-Gharableh, 16, had succumbed to his wounds after being shot in the head on 14 May, which saw the highest number of fatalities in a single day since the launch of the protests in late March.

Al-Gharableh is the 20th child among the nearly 150 Palestinians reported killed by Israeli forces in Gaza during that period, the vast majority of them during protests. More than 4,000 others have been wounded by live fire.

A statistical report issued by the Ministry of Health had showed that 144 Palestinians have been killed and 15,501 others have been injured since late March, due to Israeli quelling of the Great March of Return ongoing rallies. The report pointed out that 7,270 of the injured were treated in the field, while 8,221 others received treatment in hospitals. The Health Ministry announced that among the martyrs were 17 children, 2 woman, 2 journalists, 2 medics and 3 disabled, in addition to another 9 martyrs whose bodies are still detained by Israeli occupation authorities.

Iran Accuses US of Anchoring Chemical Weapons-Laden Ship in the Region

Multiple Russian and Middle East news sources are reporting new accusations by the Iranian military that a US ship carrying chemical weapons has recently anchored in the Persian Gulf and in engaged in a “dangerous plot”, though not naming the particular “Gulf state” territorial waters at which the ship docked.

The accusation comes just as a major seven week US military exercise, Operation Nautical Horizon, has concluded in the Persian Gulf which involved the same military transport ship that decommissioned Syria’s declared chemical weapons stockpiles.

Iran’s Press TV reported that senior Iranian military spokesman Brigadier General Abolfazl Shekarchi said the US Navy’s MV Cape Ray vessel had docked at the coast of one of the Persian Gulf Arab countries after recently being escorted into the region by an American warship, and implied further that chemicals carried by the ship could be transferred to US-backed groups in Syria

American Revolutionary Song: Chester - William Billings

Chester was a patriotic anthem composed by William Billings and sung during the American Revolutionary War. Billings wrote the first version of the song for his 1770 songbook The New England Psalm Singer, and made improvements for the version in his The Singing Master's Assistant (1778). It is the latter version that is best known today.

The curious title of the song reflects a common practice of Billings's day, in which tunes were labeled with (often arbitrarily chosen) place names. Billings's song evidently has little more to do with any particular town named Chester than his hymn tune Africa has to do with Africa. With identifiable names for compositions, performers could select different lyrics to sing with the music without creating confusion.
This song would rival Yankee Doodle as the unofficial anthem of the rebel colonies

Boys are forced to rape their MOTHERS and little girls are told witchcraft will allow them to catch bullets: UN report reveals mass rape and cannibalism in Congo war

Horrific atrocities including mass rape and cannibalism are taking place in a war in the Democratic Republic of Congo, according to a UN report.

Testimony from the country's Kasai region included boys being forced to rape their mothers, little girls being told witchcraft would allow them to catch bullets, and women forced to choose gang-rape or death.

Both rebels and government troops have committed atrocities during the conflict including dismemberment of civilians, according to accounts published by a team of U.N. human rights experts who said the world must pay heed.

The team investigating a conflict in the region told the U.N. Human Rights Council last week that they suspected all sides were guilty of war crimes and crimes against humanity.

CAMBRIDGE ANALYTICA'S PARENT COMPANY USED YEMEN AS PSYOP TEST SITE

Leaked documents show that Strategic Communication Laboratories (SCL), the parent company of the notorious Cambridge Analytica, carried out a surveillance operation embedded among local Yemeni populations in 2009. The research and psychological tactics of deception were likely later used against populations around the world including Libya, Syria, and Iran where SCL Group carried out various operations to influence social climates on behalf of their clients.

SLC Group has a dubious history of stirring up trouble with “psychological warfare” in places like Nigeria, Ukraine, Latvia and many Western countries.

The leaked documents, obtained by the Grayzone Project, detail a program called “Project Titania” carried out in Yemen which SCL Group appears to have used for honing their psychological manipulation skills. Grayzone spoke with a media professional who SCL attempted to recruit for an operation in Iran in 2009.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Do you like the fact that the US government is still torturing, or outsourcing torture, in Yemen?!? I sure as hell do not!!

I am having a Jean-Luc Picard, double palm moment, at warp speed, upon reading this.

Analytically, torture just does not produce actionable results; it only gets the tortured person to say what he or she thinks their torturers want them to say to get the torture to stop.

Torture, then, is more about creating confessions with which to justify various agendas the US government and military wish to implant on the minds of American citizens, rather than factual discovery, of what actually happened.

In World War II, a German interrogator by the name of Hanns Scharff, Hanns Scharff, who only used kindness on the American and British POWs he interrogated, and this brought him excellent results completely without the use of torture.

He was so respected by his American military counterparts that after the war, he was invited to teach his techniques to the American military.

But apparently, the CIA, American, and Emirati military leadership missed being able to torture, or outsource torture, and the intense pleasure they achieved, in the bringing of acute pain and death to their prisoners.

Sort of like "Westworld", but where real world consequences do come to bear, at least for these prisoners.

So Congress hired Haspel to head the CIA, where she gave her word that she would never allow torture to happen again, and it is happening right now in Yemen, under President Trump's watch: this absolutely disgusts and sickens me.

It has become painfully clear to me, after 9/11, that I can never believe anything any governmental agency has to tell me, because the Bush administration lied this country into two horrendous wars, against Afghanistan, and Iraq, from which we have never actually recovered, nor from which this government appears to be ready to totally disengage.

Plot E and American Soldiers’ Brutal Practices in WWII

The Oise-Aisne cemetery, dedicated to the fallen Americans in the First World War, has a small plot impossible to visit in which rest the remains of 94 soldiers executed for committing all kinds of atrocities against the civilian population.

The work of the soldier is always dark and anonymous. It consists, as General George Patton said at the time, in a basic rule: “The object of war is not to die for your country, but to make the other bastard die for his.” As if that were not enough, the story always reminds the high officials, but never the soldiers that shed their blood in Salerno or the fine sand of Normandy. That is why monuments and military cemeteries are so important for the nations like the United States because the names of the combatants allow to honor the memory of soldiers and not to forget them. Resting places such as the cemetery of Coleville, Omaha, are an example of this, hosting more than 10,000 American heroes.

Prosecute Blair govt officials at ICC after torture report – ex-diplomat Craig Murray (VIDEO)

Craig Murray, the only British civil servant to express written concerns over UK complicity in torture and rendition, has told RT that former Foreign Secretary Jack Straw should face the International Criminal Court.
Murray was the British ambassador to Uzbekistan when he noted that MI6 operatives were receiving intelligence from the "torture chambers of the Uzbek regime," later expressing written concerns back to the Foreign Office and "to Jack Straw personally," only to be told that "in the War on Terror, the decision was that we would accept intelligence from torture."

"I subsequently became aware that in fact the Americans were also shipping people into Uzbekistan specifically in order for them to be tortured under the extraordinary rendition system," said Murray.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Torture is not about getting actionable intelligence; it is about getting confessions to use, in order to justify the US's current occupation of... well, fill in the blank: Iraq; Afghanistan; Libya; or Niger, or whatever country is coming up next on the US government's "to invade' list.

One German interrogator from World War II stood out from the rest; his name was Hanns Scharff, Wikipedia: Hanns Scharff and he never used violence or torture. In fact, he did the absolute converse, and was very kind to the men he interrogated, and took them on day passes for cultural events in the community.

He was so respected by the Allies that after the war, he was invited to teach his techniques to the American military.

Torture is uselessly barbaric, and those countries still using it, should be prosecuted to the fullest possible extent of international law; unfortunately, that will only happen...when pigs discover that they are aerodynamic.

Teen who died in jail after being tasered in groin – and other cases involving the infamous stun gun

A US federal judge has ruled that a family can proceed with their lawsuit against a police officer who tasered their teenage son in the groin on the night that he died in police custody after being arrested while high on LSD.
The Texas teenager, Graham Dyer, was arrested on the night of August 13, 2013 during a trip on the hallucinogenic LSD drug. In the back of the police cruiser, the teen repeatedly banged his head against the metal supports in the vehicle.

Video footage — which the police refused to turn over to the family until years after the incident — showed one officer reaching into the back seat and repeatedly shocking Dyer while another officer held him down by his hair. The teenager was later found unresponsive in his cell and was taken to hospital where he died. The medical examiner concluded that he died due to the self-inflicted head injuries.

UK complicit in ‘inexcusable’ kidnap and torture of terrorist suspects post-9/11 – official reports

Two long-awaited parliamentary reports have found that UK intelligence agencies were more involved in the kidnap and torture of terrorist suspects in the years after the 9/11 attacks than previously thought.

British government involved in torture, report found

The British government’s involvement in torture and rendition is “beyond doubt” the Intelligence and Security Committee (ISC) said today. The parliamentary committee, which oversee the work of the intelligence machinery of the UK, revealed the true scale of the UK government’s involvement in torture and rendition since the war on terror was launched by US President George Bush in 2001.

It is one of the most damning indictments ever of UK intelligence. Torture and rendition, according to the ISC, were much more widespread than previously reported. The ISC rejected the intelligence agencies’ defence and said that the cases were not just “isolated incidents”.

A litany of cases of concern was highlighted in two reports by the USC. One report deals with the mistreatment and rendition of detainees between 2001 and 2010, while the other considers current issues.
