Crimea Vows To Ship Oil To Syria Amid Ongoing Fuel Crisis, Thwarting US Sanctions

Via AlMasdarNews.com

The President of Crimea, Sergey Aksyonov, vowed to help the Syrian Arab Republic amid their ongoing fuel crisis that is a result of the sanctions imposed on the country by western nations.

Aksyonov told Russia’s Sputnik News that there are plans to export wheat, petroleum derivatives and power tools to Syria as well as rebuilding railways there.

He pointed out that whether it is Crimea or Russia, they are willing to export products to Syria in order to help the war-torn nation.

The Crimean President noted that a shipment of wheat and other industrial products is being prepared and will be heading to Syria soon.

He also pointed out that a joint shipment company is being founded, adding that Syria will export citrus fruits, olive and olive oil to Russia.

The fuel crisis in Syria has forced the Syrian government to issue rations on gas in order to deal with the ongoing sanctions that are greatly effecting the country.

Webmaster's Commentary:

One has to wonder; just how Crimea will get these supplies, unless they move a lot of them through the Mediterranean, on their way to Tarsus, which is an officially Russian-leased port on the Med.

You know that the US military will be in the Med, guns blazing, attempting to derail the Syria-destined aid, if they get the slightest whisper, that this is really happening happening.

And BINGO, we can look at NATO's website to determine what kind of training exercises are going to be taking place, right around the time that these shipments should be happening.

Fact Sheet: NATO EXERCISES, 2019:

It looks as though the following will be the closest "fit", in terms of a time line:

SPRING STORM
A large-scale live exercise of the Estonian Defence Forces, with
participation from NATO’s enhanced Forward Presence and other Allied
forces. Some 10,000 military personnel are expected to participate.
29 April – 10 May

Folks, that start date for this NATO exercise is 29 April; one week from this Monday.

I hope (and also pray) that the Adults in the Room in the White House, and its Military, are not going to let things get out of hand with these shipments; unfortunately, with a card-carrying Dominionist at the helm of the US State Department, Mikie Pompeo, God only knows what kind of havoc he may have in store for these aid ships, simply trying to get help to a fractured, broken country, (largely courtesy of the last Administration, and the current Administration.)

The location of this drill is also more than a little un-nerving; right after Crimea held its referendum, to determine, post-putsch, if Crimeans wanted to stay with Ukraine, or petition the Russian Federation to become a member (that latter is the one that happened), there was all sorts of chatter that Russia would want to invade Estonia.

And it appears that the American Public is being "groomed" to expect a Russian attack against Baltic nations, which would, of course, would mean that NATO would be stepping in here.

Europe's worst nightmare: here's what a NATO/RUSSIA war would like like, dateline 31 March 019

So, we get this story, end of last month, and NATO exercises in Estonia latter this month, starting 29 March, and headed through the beginning of May.

Coincidence?!?

I hope to Heaven that I am wrong, but when I see dates start to "jive" as they do for this exercise, and potential disruption of a Crimean relief operation for Syria, I don't think that this was a coincidence.
