“One of the most salient features of our culture is that there is so much bullshit. Everyone knows this… But we tend to take the situation for granted… (the bullshitter) does not care whether the things he says describe reality correctly. He just picks them out, or makes them up… (Bullshitters) continue making assertions that purport to describe the way things are but that cannot be anything except bullshit.” ~ Princeton professor emeritus, Harry Frankfurt, 2005 Bestseller, On Bullshit

“[The] erroneous assumption is to the effect that the aim of public education is to fill the young of the species with knowledge and awaken their intelligence, and so make them fit to discharge the duties of citizenship in an enlightened and independent manner. Nothing could be further from the truth. The aim of public education is not to spread enlightenment at all; it is simply to reduce as many individuals as possible to the same safe level, to breed and train a standardised citizenry, to put down dissent and originality.” ~ H.L. Mencken, 1924

Think Nice’s brilliant 5-minute artistic frame for Professor Frankfurt (although there's likely more to climate change than he mentions [and here, here]):

Stephen Colbert’s 2005 two minutes on truthiness as bullshit’s brother (embedding forbidden by Comedy Central).

This 11-part series addresses an overarching fact about public education: its design of intentional curricular lies of omission and commission to keep our children and the general public powerless, relatively stupid, and controlled work animals.

Importantly, I do not blame education professionals working in good-faith effort to produce high-quality learning from our children; public education exists in a matrix of control for ongoing empires that I’ll explain in detail within the series’ sections. That said, anyone truly educated in one’s field gradually discovers that public education is a ridiculous substitute for what’s most important to teach and learn. This is Emperor’s New Clothes obvious when pointed to, with this paper’s content including factual assertions that no counterarguments exist outside of shallow and misleading bullshit.

The 11 sections (links to be added as the series progress):

US public education: Bullshit to train stupefied work animals:

Introduction: defining ‘bullshit,’ demanding comprehensive, objective, and independently-verifiable factual accuracy everywhere in Life, along with freedom to authentically respond (1 of 12)
‘US History’ as easily-proved lies of omission and commission to hide the .01% rogue state empire, and cheer for stupefied American myth (2 of 12)
‘Government’ as promised design structure blind to destruction of all Constitutional Rights in a dictatorial neocolonial rogue state (3 of 12)
‘Economics’ as limited and flawed models while ignoring criminal looting fraud to call debt as ‘money’ and ‘good,’ ignoring game-changing reforms (4 of 12)
Mathematics so-called ‘real-world’ problems are lie-conceived trivial puzzles condescending to professionals; totally failing to count what’s most important in quality, money, time (5 of 12)
Student leadership/ASB as entertainment committee with occasional gestures toward real-world problems but never recognizing bullshit ‘Big Lies’ of US rogue state (6 of 12)
Language Arts fails to communicate inspiration for humanity; losing the human spirit’s self-expression to slavish empire (7 of 12)
Physical Education fails to declare US national emergency of unfit, unhappy humans in body and mind (8 of 12)
Fine and Performing Arts limited almost exclusively for ‘pay to play;’ quietly crushing creative self-expression (9 of 12)
Science captured by the US rogue state; demoted to bullshitting about research, and silenced in real solutions for a brighter future (10 of 12)
Most ‘food’ is crap, campuses decrepit, students appropriately uninspired by bullshit (11 of 12)
Solutions: education for truth, technology, and love to embrace reality and unleash human freedom (12 of 12)

Fine and Performing Arts limited almost exclusively for ‘pay to play;’ quietly crushing creative self-expression (9 of 12)

Fine and performing arts have been systematically removed from public education for over 30 years (and here, here, here), despite its power to naturally spur creativity and higher academic success. 11-minute video of the benefits of art in education:

Let’s consider three points:

The “reason” for eliminating arts programs of “no money” is a central lie to command and artistically refute.
Arts’ beauty connects people of all cultures, making parasitic empires impossible.
Arts’ beauty inspires creative self-expression, revealing and ending soul-crushing empires.
Our three questions to artistically ponder:

To what extent will human artistic expression blossom when humans are free from bullshit debt-slavery?
What will human relations look like in artistic beauty with unprecedented connection among all humanity?
How will humans self-express when creativity is unleashed from our current work animal enslavement?
Example 1:

We have willing artists, eager students, proven education benefits, but not the green pieces of paper?! This is a joke, right?

Continuing our economics discussion of Emperor’s New Clothes obvious facts when pointed to, the only real economic limits are resources and labor. Because we have willing artists and students, along with proven educational gains when arts are included, the investment in such education is cheaper than not providing it when a lifetime of improved economic contribution is greater than the investment of art education. The typical excuse to de-fund the arts because of “no money” is obviously bullshit (please refresh this definition as needed) because:

We the People can create money to pay for public goods and services at our will (if we get off our knees to recover it). So to be clear: “there is no money” is bullshit because we could have it if we said so.
The immediate .01% bullshit cry of “inflation!” if we create money for direct payment of public goods and services is a straw man fallacy. Applying simple real-world mathematics, money mechanics can be honestly understood: there is no inflation to the extent money-creation invests in long-term economic gains. This .01% fear-mongering lie is easily refuted with just a little education (and then reversed to prove the existing debt system is extraordinarily inflationary).
The simple reforms in money and public banking deliver ~$1,000,000 per US household. We the People can certainly afford and deserve full education and expression in the arts.
This is an important point that must be demonstrated artistically as well as factually: there is nothing real preventing full access to public education in the arts. The arguments we somehow “can’t” are bullshit diversions to keep humans as barely educated, uninspired, non-creative work animals.

Example 2:

Art is so beautiful that it connects people. Empires must crush beauty to crush connection because connected/loving people reject looting empires.

We’ve demonstrated that today’s children grow-up within a rogue state unlawful empire with a long history of propagandized Wars of Aggression. Importantly, those of us working to prove unlawful wars have never found any non-bullshit argument against this; that is, nobody has stated the law and demonstrated how current wars are legal. Artistically, this is similar to our sports analogies. Although I encourage you to master understanding of the one single most important law, here it is in one sentence: nations cannot use their military for armed attack unless under direct attack (or imminent threat) by another nation’s government.

Because today’s wars by so-called “former” colonial powers are not even close to lawful, they continue only by bullshit rhetoric to weakened, uneducated, and disconnected “sheeple.” The powers behind these .01% wars, looting, and constant lying must limit artistic expression to prevent the result of beautiful human connections it evokes.

Inspired and loving people will defend their diverse brothers and sisters, and not allow them to be invaded, occupied, and looted over bullshit “reasons” masking illegal Wars of Aggression. “Others” must be demonized, not appreciated for cultural beauty. Their artistic diversity must be marginalized and manipulated into a source of fear.

Because the arts helps educational success, answer me why the arts are hindered so severely that parents must contribute directly to support them in schools, or not have the arts; a “pay to play” system?

Would ethical public education ever cut something helpful?

Whatever your answers, the limitation of the arts is bullshit: our children, parents, and the public are not receiving the full truth from public “leaders” legally required to provide full and accurate information of public funding. At the very very very least, educated adults should start following the money if they want to defend art and beauty.

Example 3:

Art creates self-expression rooted in virtue. Creative and virtuous people expose and artistically end empires, not support them as stupefied work animals

Art is a love of beauty, in whatever form of art expressed. The creation of artistic beauty develops a reaching into virtue, a tap once opened can only be expanded from virtues’ attractiveness. Who doesn’t want more beauty in all its diversity when created, experienced and expressed?

Empire is ugly. It must lie to attack, invade, loot, and poverty-murder domestics to scare the rest into empire work animals.

Artists creatively expose and end empires.

In my academic work, I share artistic works that are at least as powerful as my words. For example, in consideration of you allowing your own artistic voice full expression, please allow Martin King to speak with you for two minutes:

And please consider this six minutes that we are the ones we’ve been waiting for:

Our three questions again:

To what extent will human artistic expression blossom when humans are free from bullshit debt-slavery?
What will human relations look like in artistic beauty with unprecedented connection among all humanity?
How will humans self-express when creativity is unleashed from our current work animal enslavement?

Bonus section! Artistic self-expression for today's leaders:

I’ve suggested (and here, here, here, here), there is zen-like harmony in the paradox of “artistic and patient activism.” Those of us with Faith from spiritual, philosophical, and/or religious foundations have full opportunity to live one’s deepest faith, not just hold it at a distance in abstract belief. Faith, for almost all who hold it, includes a stand for divine justice; that is, all reality is just/fair beyond human perceptual limitations. Our opportunity as individuals, connected to the Whole of Life, is to fully express our best artistic and scientific self-expressions within the limitations of being human.

The art and science of our “awful-awesome” world engagement for victory is up to each of us, differing as much as writing styles, how one plays a sport, and what one does to relax. And, as with writing, sports, and relaxation, we engage in good-faith trial-and-error to upgrade our performance qualities.

Anyway, my point is that Faith exercised has awesome stands:

When all is justice, there is nothing to fear.
When all is trust in the Divine, there is only self-expression.
Whatever you can imagine for support behind Earth’s scenes, love & justice is helping all of us beyond our capability to imagine.
The poet Rilke’s advice from 1903 may help you, the leaders, reading here and now in consideration of your own artistic self-expression:

“But everything that may someday be possible to many, the solitary man can now prepare and build with his hands, that err less. Therefore, dear sir, love your solitude and bear with sweet-sounding lamentation the suffering it causes you. For those who are near you are far, you say, and that shows it is beginning to grow wide about you. And when what is near you is far, then your distance is already among the stars and very large.

Rejoice in your growth, in which you naturally can take no one with you, and be kind to those who remain behind. Be sure and calm before them, and do not torment them with your doubts, and do not frighten them with your confidence or joy, which they could not understand.

Seek yourself some sort of simple and loyal community with them, which need not necessarily change as you yourself become different and again different.

Love in them Life in an unfamiliar form.

Be considerate of aging people, who fear that being-alone in which you trust. Avoid contributing material to the drama that is always stretched taut between parents and children; it uses up much of the children’s energy and consumes the love of their elders, which is effective and warming even if it does not comprehend. Ask no advice from them, and count upon no understanding; but believe in a love that is being stored up for you like an inheritance, and trust that in this there is a strength and a blessing, out beyond which you do not have to step in order to go very far!”
