Inquiry into 7/7 branded 'whitewash' by victims

Until we accept and embrace, as fact, that 911, the anthrax attacks, and 7/7 were perpetrated by elements within the American, British, and Israeli governments to create terror; and within that climate of fear initiate a shadow war of conquest against all of humanity, a war against the sovereignty of nations, a war to steal the world's resources, subdue all of Israel's muslim enemies; using shock and awe capitalism, murder and assassinations; and the creation of a global control matrix, we will not have the necessary tools (the truth) to free ourselves from the primordial fear these monsters are illiciting within us.

According to the figures some 35 percent of families live below the poverty line: 23 percent of the Jewish families and 67 percent of the Arab families.

Among children, 48 percent of Jews and 74 percent of non-Jews are defined as poor.

Fox News Clowns try to discredit Jesse Ventura-Video

You see... nobody on this TV set wants to be waterboarded, and they don't want their kids waterboarded - and if somebody waterboarded their kids they'd be thanking this brave gentleman for coming forward and speaking out. But in this case, knowing Jesse Ventura is so popular, they WILL have him on the show because he draws such a HUGE audience. So while they never hesitate to benefit from the "coat tail" effect - that is - the ratings assured by the very presence of this heroic guest - they also have to take the time to "act tough" while he's there with their feigned "patriotism." Gawd gimme a barf bag.

"They just want to work".....on airplanes

Falling standards everywhere. Cutting corners everywhere. Then people wonder why everything is falling apart.

News 8 has recently revealed serious flaws in the way the FAA licenses mechanics who fix planes.

There is evidence of years of problems in testing these mechanics. There is also evidence that hundreds of mechanics with questionable licenses are working on aircraft in Texas.

Now there is evidence of repair facilities hiring low-wage mechanics who can't read English.

Twenty-one people were killed when U.S. Airways Express Flight 5481 crashed in Charlotte, North Carolina in 2003. The plane went wildly out of control on takeoff.

Sri Lanka on brink of catastrophe as UN aid blocked

The Sri Lankan Government has blocked access to aid workers trying to help the nearly 300,000 civilians displaced by the army’s victory over the Tamil Tigers, raising the prospect of a humanitarian catastrophe.

Accounts of conditions inside the camps — gained from testimony recorded covertly by aid workers — and the journey to them are horrifying.

One has to wonder just how intense the genocide of non-combatant Tamils was for the Sri Lankan government to block UN aid.

Barack Obama: Iran must meet nuclear deadline

US President Barack Obama has told Iran it has until the end of the year to respond to his diplomatic outreach over stopping its nuclear programme.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Translation: Netanyahu has given Obama his marching orders that Iran must meet Israel's timetable for stopping its nuclear program......or else.

And precisely what is Iran doing? Building a power plant, which they, as signatories to the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty, are perfectly within their international rights to do.

Those facilities have been - and continue to be - inspected by the IAEA, which has found no shred of evidence that Iran is building any kind of a nuclear weapon, as the level of enrichment necessary to build a power plant is far lower than that of the enrichment necessary to build a bomb.

Israel, however, is not a signatory to the NPT; consequently, their facilities have never been inspected by the IAEA.

So, Iran has to quit doing what is absolutely acceptable in building its power plant, under international law, but Israel refuses to join the NPT to allow their nuclear facilities to be inspected?!?!?

What's wrong with this picture, beside a scenario for World War III?!?

Iran nuclear danger downplayed in reports

Reporting from Beirut -- A pair of reports released Tuesday by prominent think tanks downplay the potential dangers presented by Iran, concluding that Tehran is at least six years away from building a deliverable nuclear weapon and that its ability to wreak havoc in the Middle East through surrogates is exaggerated.

A report by a group of Russian and American scientists and engineers at the EastWest Institute concludes that although Iran could build a nuclear device within one to three years of deciding to do so, it would not be able to deliver a long-range weapon for many more years. The scientists also say that a U.S. missile defense system being considered for Central Europe would be useless against an Iranian nuclear weapon.

Elliott Wave Disciple Robert Prechter Sees a Possible 2,000 Dow

Prechter even managed to call this year’s March bottom, expecting a substantial bear market rally at around 6,300 on the Dow, close to the bottom. However, he expects the market to resume its downward trend shortly, ending with a decline similar to the 86% in real terms of 1929-32 as we are in a long Elliott Wave downswing. That would take the Dow down to around 2,000.

Personally, I would not go that far. This does not look like a reprise of the Great Depression, although it could still turn into one with enough policy mistakes - another “stimulus plan,” or a big dose of protectionism, for example. However, the downward macroeconomic momentum looks bigger than in either 1974 or 1982, bear markets that both brought real-term drops of slightly more than 50% from previous highs.

Helmke and other critics, including environmental groups, park rangers and the Humane Society, say the Coburn amendment goes further than the Bush administration policy that briefly allowed loaded handguns in national parks and refuges. Obama Announces First Nationwide Regulation of Greenhouse Gases

President Obama today proposed tough standards for tailpipe emissions from new automobiles, establishing the first nationwide regulation for greenhouse gases.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Here is a classic example of not thinking things all the way thrugh.

1. The US Government just handed hundreds of billions of your tax dollars
to the existing automobile manufacturers, which even before the depression were in trouble because they failed to adapt to the changing marketplace and keep pace with foreign innovation.

2. Despite the aforesaid hundreds of billions of tax dollars, GM and Chrysler still teeter on the edge of bankruptcy. The US Government has refused to make retention of US jobs a condition of financial bailouts.

3. Now that we are hundreds of billions in the hole, and no sign of actual improvement in these existing auto companies, Obama imposes new clean air standards for new cars.

4. For the same money already poured into the big three automakers to little gain, we could have financed the construction of brand new automobile plants, with American workers, using up to date methods, to produce highly efficient cars at a lower price.

The Machinery of Hopelessness

Hopelessness isn’t natural. It needs to be produced. To understand this situation, we have to realize that the last 30 years have seen the construction of a vast bureaucratic apparatus that creates and maintains hopelessness. At the root of this machine is global leaders’ obsession with ensuring that social movements do not appear to grow or flourish, that those who challenge existing power arrangements are never perceived to win. Maintaining this illusion requires armies, prisons, police and private security firms to create a pervasive climate of fear, jingoistic conformity and despair. All these guns, surveillance cameras and propaganda engines are extraordinarily expensive and produce nothing – they’re economic deadweights that are dragging the entire capitalist system down.

Democrats Are Fast-Tracking Nearly 1,000-Page ‘Cap-and-Trade’ Bill That Would Increase Electricity Bills

Democrats on the House Energy and Commerce Committee put their cap and trade global warming bill–that would increase U.S. energy prices, including electricity bills–on the fast track Monday. Republicans, meanwhile, are complaining that the expedited process is designed to avoid well-informed public debate about what the bill will do and its consequences for American consumers.

Waxman, in a memo sent Sunday, told members that he wanted the bill out of committee by Thursday, allowing only four days to debate a 1,000-page bill which would mean higher energy prices and a reduction in income for 80 percent of Americans, according to a May 7 Congressional Budget Office report.

U.S. stirs a hornet's nest in Pakistan

The Obama administration had threatened to stop $2 billion US annual cash payments to bankrupt Pakistan's political and military leadership and block $6.5 billion future aid, unless Islamabad sent its soldiers into Pakistan's turbulent NWFP along the Afghan frontier.

Unable to pacify Afghanistan's Pashtun tribes (a.k.a. Taliban), a deeply frustrated Washington has begun tearing Pakistan apart in an effort to end Pashtun resistance in both nations. CIA drone aircraft have so far killed over 700 Pakistani Pashtun. Only 6% were militants, according to Pakistan's media, the rest civilians.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Unfortunately, the same can be said in geopolitics.

This genocide cannot make Pakistan stronger; it can only cause people, barely living on the edge of existence who were not radicalized before this, to become radicalized.

"Cowboys" and Other Horrors of Empire, Version Obama 1.0

Intervention always leads to more intervention: the first intervention leads to unforeseen and uncontrollable consequences, which are then used as the justification for still further intervention. The process can go on indefinitely, and the ultimate consequences are always disastrous in the extreme.

Today, Israel is a well-established state from the materialistic view point. It is quite advanced in the realm of science and technology and has a horrendous war machine with which it constantly savages its Palestinian victims and threatens its neighbors, near and distant.

The evil entity also exerts tremendous influence on the politics and policies of the United States to the extent that U.S. Congress has been described as “an Israeli occupied territory.”

Don’t Believe the Hype -- Fructose Truly is Much Worse Than Glucose

I was on the verge of going to the doctor when I read one of these articles about high-fructose corn syrup, which is not only in various beverages, but has become as ubiquitous as MSG and Aspartame because it is cheap and has a good shelf life. HFCS is even found in ketchup these days.

Anyway, to keep the story short I dropped all HFCS out of my diet and not only did the sugar "crashes" stop but I have started losing weight again.

If you must have a cola every now and then try the new Pepsi "Natural". It's pretty good.

Losing Pakistan

Whatever the actual chain of events that transpires, the great (and avoidable) tragedy is that the policies the US is pursuing in the region greatly increase the likelihood of the loss of Pakistan to the Islamists. The frightening consequences of this, for both Pakistan and the US, are easy to imagine. Any successes the generals can achieve in their war in Afghanistan would be meaningless; military campaigns divorced from the real needs of national policy usually end up as expensive failures. The pages of history are littered with them.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Expect the level of radicalization to rise sharply after the Pakistani military's campaign in Swat.

People don't become radicalized when enlightened governmental policies are working for them; they become radicalized when they have nothing left to lose.

And that is the very sorry state of affairs for many Afghans and Pakistanis right now, dealing with corrupt and dysfunctional governments.

U.S. Preparing For War With Russia?

Last week the head of the U.S. Strategic Command, Gen. Kevin Chilton, told reporters during a Defense Writers Group breakfast on May 7 “that the White House retains the option to respond with physical force – potentially even using nuclear weapons – if a foreign entity conducts a disabling cyber attack against U.S. computer networks….”

Ok so apparently we have Afghanistan,Iraq,Pakistan,Palestine,we kinda' helped with Lebanon,we paved the way for that one thing in Georgia/Russia,we're threatening Iran... Yea. We're pretty much screwed here...

1300 Girls Harmed by HPV Vaccines in UK; Bizarre Side Effects Like Paralysis and Epilepsy

More than 1,300 girls in the United Kingdom have experienced negative reactions to the government-mandated Cervarix vaccine for the human papillomavirus (HPV), according to adverse events reports collected from doctors by the Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency (MHRA).

“When they introduced this new vaccine, we had major concerns about its safety,” said Jackie Fletcher of Jabs, a support group for those negatively affected by vaccines. “The current statistics detailing adverse reactions — including cases of epilepsy and convulsions — bears out that we were right to be concerned.”

Webmaster's Commentary:

With pharmaceutical companies, it's rarely about the health of the person mandated to have this or that vaccine; it's all about the profits from the mandated vaccination.

If you've never seen the film "The Constant Gardener", it explains how this works in a very disturbingly rich way.

Present Economy worse than Depression

Webmaster's Commentary:

Stocks are up...great news, right?
Everything's going to be OK.

Optimism is a lovely thing.

Realism is better.

Few on the boob tube are capable of being realistic about
the real state of the credit system and thus the economic system and thus society.

Here's the reality:

Wall Street created exponentially more paper assets than there
are hands to hold them and it can't sell off all these assets at the same time without causing mind-boggling deflation.

(Imagine an auction where only one person shows up and
there is no minimum price.)

Lower prices are not a bad thing, but lower prices
with a massive overhang of super-inflated debts that
have to be paid back is. A very bad thing.

Two serious economists who warned about the current
calamity well in advance and who don't have a dog in the fight (i.e. over-priced assets they hope to sell to optimists) explain
the potential scale of the consequences facing the world.

Man Testifies Chicago Cops Beat Him For 30 Minutes

A man serving a life sentence for a 1990 murder testified Monday he confessed only after he was beaten for half an hour by Chicago police detectives under the command of disgraced former Cmdr. Jon Burge.

Cortez Brown, 38, who now goes by his birth name of Victor Safforld, is seeking a new trial, arguing that his confession was coerced because he feared for his safety and that of his family.

When our servicemen and women are risking their lives in Afghanistan to protect us from worldwide terrorism.

Claims that would have mere voters up before a judge, on fraud charges.

Government Has Pledged $12.8 Trillion on Bailouts - Every Household on the Hook for $109,887

The U.S. government and the Federal Reserve have spent, lent or committed $12.8 trillion, an amount that approaches the value of everything produced in the country last year ...

The money works out to $42,105 for every man, woman and child in the U.S. and 14 times the $899.8 billion of currency in circulation. The nation’s gross domestic product was $14.2 trillion in 2008.

That means that every American household is on the hook for $109,887 for the bailouts.

Webmaster's Commentary:

And what do we get for all this money?

More bombs to drop on brown people. More wars for our children to die in. More TV cameras watching us. More informants setting us up. More spooks reading our emails. More cops listening to our phone calls. Crumbling roads. Rotting schools. Medical care that is the most expensive on Earth yet only 29th in quality. Rigged elections.

Pakistani Military Killing Fleeing Swati Civilians

As the Pakistani military’s offensive against the Swat Valley continues, around 1.45 million are reported to have successfully fled. For several families today attempting to leave their homes, that trek ended in disaster as the Pakistani military attacked and killed several of them, and wounded an unknown number of others. Women and children were among the slain

Stakes rise as drug war threatens to cross border

U.S. officials are trying to stop the violence from crossing the border. The Obama administration committed to spending an additional $700 million to help Mexico fight the cartels and agreed to double the number of U.S. agents working the border.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Violence "threatens" to cross the border?!? I don't know quite what planet this particular writer lives on, but it cannot possibly be earth.

Drug-related crime has been expanding exponentially for the last years in the border areas.

Of course, there's one thing the US could do to make this go away, and very quickly. That would be complete decriminalization of drugs, just pulling the plug out of the profit motive. You'd see addiction plummet.

But, of course, that would be logical. And too many people at too many levels of government and commerce are making too much money to have this happen.

Israel gives Obama until end of year on Iran

In practice, this means that Netanyahu agreed to give Obama until the end of the year. Then, if Iran's nuclear program is still proceeding, Israel will consider "other options."

Webmaster's Commentary:

I doubt that this is what they really talked about in their meeting. Neither Netanyahu nor Obama talked about Iran's nuclear weapons because both of them know full well that Iran is not building nuclear weapons nor has the IAEA found any evidence Iran is building nuclear weapons.

If the nuclear power station were the real concern, the US would abide by article 4 of the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty which OBLIGATES the United States to assist any developing country with the construction of peaceful nuclear power plants. I cannot think of a better way for the US to see what Iran is really doing with that power station than actually being there helping to pour the foundations and weld the pipes.

So, what Netanyahu has really told Obama is that Obama has until the end of the year to convince the US population to support a war in Iran, or Israel will just start one for us.

I told you Obama looked like a whipped puppy coming out of that meeting.

Economy in 'emergency situation,' Finance Minister Steinitz warns

The economy faces an "emergency situation," Finance Minister Yuval Steinitz warned on Monday, while urging lawmakers to support the government's draft budget, as Israeli exports plunged 32 percent in the first four months of this year

Webmaster's Commentary:

Of course, what Israel doesn't want to acknowledge is that some in the world are reluctant to trade with a country which feels it's perfectly acceptable to throw white phosphorous on unarmed Palestinian civilians.

The language of of money is pretty much all Israel understands. And if their economy is off because of their actions against Gaza, so be it.

Japan flu cases soar

More than 4,000 schools have either been temporarily closed or requested to close in Osaka and Hyogo prefectures as the number of people confirmed to be infected with the new strain of Type A influenza reached 164 on Monday, according to the health, labor and welfare ministry and the education, science and technology ministry.

So far, though, symptoms among those infected have been mild, and many are recovering, according to the health ministry.

Webmaster's Commentary:

If what I had last week WAS the Swine Flu (and the main cluster of H1N1 is just up the H2 from where I live) then it was indeed mild, so mild I never bothered going to the doctor.

The stories of lethality may be due to other factors working with the virus, or there may actually be more than one virus going around lumped together as "H1N1".

Why Republicans May Never Again Control Washington

You can stick a fork in the once mighty right-wing GOP. The Republican Party, to quote the hilarious Bily Crystal character in the magical film The Princess Bride, is "mostly dead." The majority has clearly swung to the center, becoming a much more moderate representation of the party. Statistics now show that more Americans have abandoned religion and the hot button social issues that used to be conservatives' bread and butter campaign themes. What's more, the evangelical wing, the party's core base just a few short years ago, has shrunk to negligible, insignificant levels.

Webmaster's Commentary:

I would not gloat just yet. If Obama goes on proving that there really is no difference between the two parties, then the Democrats may join the Republicans in the scrap heap of history.

A Matter of Trust

Because the story was so radioactive from Israel’s point of view, examining its progress as it made its way into the international media can serve as a sort of case study—it shows in real time how America’s media differ from other countries’ in their portrayal of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. And it helps illuminate the frequent charge that the American press is biased in Israel’s favor. Or against it, again, depending on your point of view.

Bailing out banks drains Social Security and Medicare

Recession Drains Social Security and Medicare was a headline from the New York Times that seemed to me a distortion of facts in order to scare people.

After all, what caused the recession but the criminal behavior of predatory mortgage companies and banks who made unfair subprime loans, collateralized them, shipped them downstream to investment banks that securitized them and sold them knowing what junk they were to investors. That combined with a shark tank of hungry salespeople who went at the assets of poor and not so poor homebuyers with time-bomb mortgages whose interest exploded at some point, scattering them into massive indebtedness. Neither Social Security nor Medicare did this.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Social Security is already depleted. They are just going to blame the recession for it.

Sack Rahm

Maybe the question is whether President Obama is getting any good advice ... or put with even more sinister implication ... maybe he is being manipulated by a cunning staff into making these really obnoxious and difficult to abandon decisions about a whole range of things? Or, as the folks around the electronic water coolers have it after a hundred day honeymoon, the sexiness has worn off, the bright light seems dim, the promise broken, the tragedy continues, and so who will we support in 2012 ... clearly not Obama?

Taxpayers May Lose Out in TARP Paybacks

Americans were promised a reward for rescuing the nation’s banks. In return for all those bailouts, the banks essentially granted stock options to the government — a potential jackpot for taxpayers once the crisis blew over.

But now banks, eager to get Washington out of their hair, are pushing to undo those investments as quickly — and cheaply — as possible. If the Obama administration acquiesces, billions of taxpayer dollars could be left on the table, The New York Times’ Eric Dash writes.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Any taxpayer who really believed that any tiny bit of this money would somehow trickle down and back to them had to be naive in the extreme.

Brazil, China team up against the dollar

Brazil and China are teaming up to initiate the decline of America's currency as the world's reserve standard.

Webmaster's Commentary:

You've just got to love the line above - as though the US government hasn't done enough of its own to sink the value of the dollar by having the Federal Reserve continue to print US money as though it actually was backed by something of worth, not to mention throwing away billions of dollars in these endless wars.

China and Brazil are teaming up to support their own economies without having to use the dollar at all, which - from the look of the current economic status in the US - doesn't appear that unreasonable.

Sixty one years ago…

My dad was in his late teens when the Noble Peace winner Yitzhak Rabin ordered the Israeli Army to attack Lydda (my home town) and Ramla. A few months earlier, the Jewish terrorist groups, the Haganah and Irgun attacked armless Palestinian civilians in the town. By July, David Ben Gourian ordered Rabin to attack Lydda by planes and troops entered the city. The men in town were gathered and locked inside the Dahmash Mosque (my grandfather’s). Some men were also locked inside the Greek Orthodox Monetary nearby. The people of both towns (Christians and Muslims) resisted with all means the brutal attack. My dad and older Uncle (who is still alive until today) were locked inside the Mosque. But luckily they managed to escape when Rabin’s men starting shooting and killing everyone inside.
