Lone Shooters, Terrorism, and Semantics

By Jon Rappoport

This is a big one. It’s so big, in fact, that many people will want to turn their backs on it and pretend it doesn’t and couldn’t exist. But it’s real. It does exist.

No killing of innocent people can be called a “negligible statistic.” But what label do you apply when an entire government stands by and does nothing, while millions of people die?

A supposed lone shooter motivated by political ideology kills 20 people, and this is called a terrorist act. But what category do you apply when a government enables a monopoly that destroys millions of lives?...

Epstein Autopsy Finds Evidence He May Have Been Murdered

By Tyler Durden

First, remember how some witnesses claimed they had heard horrifying shrieking coming from Epstein’s cell in the hours before his death? Well, here’s one explanation for that: An autopsy report found that Epstein had endured multiple breaks in his neck bones, deepening the mystery surrounding his death last week.

Even Jonathan L. Arden, president of the National Association of Medical Examiners, admitted that a hyoid break is more commonly associated with homicidal strangulation than suicidal hanging...

World sharemarkets shudder, but it's too early to predict a recession

The US yield curve may have turned negative in the US, sending the US and markets around the world sharply lower, but analysts said it's too early to cry recession just yet.

The much-vaunted US yield curve is held up as a key indicator for markets everywhere.

Under normal conditions, two-year bond yields should be lower than longer-term ones, reflecting reward for tying up money for longer periods.

The US curve has steadily been flattening over the last few months. In July, the differential was a positive 28 basis points.

Corrections failure despite advice from Norway's expert Breivik team

An expert Norwegian team involved in terrorist and murderer Anders Behring Breivik's imprisonment visited New Zealand months ago to advise Corrections on how to manage the alleged Christchurch terrorist.

The visit makes the failure in vetting the alleged offender's mail doubly disappointing, Corrections Minister Kelvin Davis told the Herald.

"It is sensible that people who have experience in looking after this sort of prisoner were here to help and guide us.

"That's why I'm particularly disappointed that this situation has occurred with regard to his mail, and why we've taken steps to make sure it never reoccurs."

Corrections blunder: Second letter from accused Christchurch mosque shooter emerges

Corrections is in damage control tonight after confirmation that staff allowed two high-profile prison inmates to send three letters containing content that should have been withheld.

Two of the letters were from the accused Christchurch mosque gunman Brenton Tarrant while the third was from white supremacist Philip Arps.

This follows confirmation yesterday that Tarrant was able to send multiple letters, including one to Russia which later appeared online.

Tonight Corrections confirmed a second letter sent by Tarrant should have been withheld.

And it also confirmed Arps had wrongly been allowed to send his own letter to a media organisation.

Arps is serving a jail sentence at Christchurch Men's Prison for sharing the mosque shooting video.

'Lightweight hoax swallower': Alan Jones, Aussies slam Jacinda Ardern over climate change

Australian radio shock jock Alan Jones has lashed out at Jacinda Ardern - calling her a "complete clown" and a "lightweight Prime Minister".

"I just wonder whether Scott Morrison is going to be fully briefed to shove a sock down her throat," he said on Sydney radio station 2GB.

Jones and other Aussies earlier slammed Ardern over pointed comments aimed at Australian Prime Minister Scott Morrison over climate change, claiming she had a "cargo cult mentality".

Ardern and Morrison both landed in Tuvalu for the Pacific Islands Forum, where Australia is facing pressure to take greater action on climate change.

USDA issues recall of 700 lbs. of beef and pork that may have been blended with HUMAN blood… did somebody fall into the grinder?

According to official data from the USDA, just four large firms control about half of chicken production, 66 percent of pork production, and a whopping 85 percent of beef production. This same oligarchy also control about 75 percent of soybean seeds, up from 50 percent in 2000; and a whopping 85 percent of corn seed sales, up from 25 percent in 2000.

As Natural News reported back in 2013, this incremental takeover of agriculture throughout America has been a long time coming, and continues to ratchet up with the blessing of the USDA. In time, there will be no more small farmers in the U.S., as all food production will have been consolidated into the hands of a select “elite” few.

“Is there anything safe to eat or drink?” asks one Big League Politics commenter about the dire situation that Americans face when dealing with today’s questionable food supply.

We checked and yup, it's no longer 2001. And yet you can pwn a Windows box via Notepad.exe

Software buried in Windows since the days of WinXP can be abused to take complete control of a PC with the help of good ol' Notepad and some crafty code.

On Tuesday, ace bug-hunter Tavis Ormandy, of Google Project Zero, detailed how a component of the operating system's Text Services Framework, which manages keyboard layouts and text input, could be exploited by malware or rogue logged-in users to gain System-level privileges. Such level of access would grant software nasties and miscreants total control over, and surveillance of, the computer.

The flaw, designated CVE-2019-1162, is patched in this month's Patch Tuesday release of security fixes from Microsoft. The relevant update should be installed as soon as possible.

5 Sectors of The U.S. Economy That Are In Decline

By Steven Maxwell

As regular readers of this site are probably well aware, it often feels like we are living in parallel worlds when it comes to media coverage of just about anything. This is extremely evident in the economy.

In a game of numbers, one would think that there would be much more obvious agreement about the conclusions we can draw from economic data. Nothing could be further from the truth, as on one end we are given persistently buoyant optimism from the Wall Street stock-market crowd; and signs of imminent economic end-times on the other extreme side of the spectrum.

However, for anyone who spends even a small amount of time on Main Street, the realities tend to be much more obvious...

China Prepares Its "Nuclear Option" In Trade War

Authored by Simon Watkins via OilPrice.com,

As the trade war with the U.S. continues to escalate, China has re-engaged with Iran on three key projects and is weighing the use of what both Washington and Beijing term the ‘nuclear option’, a senior oil and gas industry source who works closely with Iran’s Petroleum Ministry told OilPrice.com last week.

Having said that, and aware of the leverage that it had with Iran as one of the very few countries still willing to engage in developing its fields in the midst of increasingly vigorously-imposed sanctions, China has sought deal sweeteners from Iran, and has been given them. In order for it to reactivate its development of SP11, China will get a 17.25 percent discount for nine years on the value of all gas it recovers.

Webmaster's Commentary:

One thing of which an intelligent person cannot accuse either China or Iran about, is not having a very long term, win/win economic plan for both countries.

But looking at the reality that 1 September, is just a little more than two weeks away, one has to wonder if the US government, will find itself capable of responding intelligently, or is that huge "crash and recession" the financial pundits have been trumpeting for so long, going to be the case?

Is the US government contemplating a two-front war with China and Iran, for which they would have to engage very quickly, before thinking people realized why this was happening?!?

And what "reason" will they give an ever-more conscious and evolved public, about why this is happening, and why now?!?

The short answer is, they cannot, even with the biggest false flag someone could ever conjure.

Sunscreens Release Metals and Inorganic Nutrients Into Seawater

Beachgoers are becoming increasingly aware of the potentially harmful effects UV filters from sunscreens can have on coral and other marine organisms when the protective lotions wash off their bodies into the ocean.

Now, researchers have studied how sunscreens release different compounds — trace metals and inorganic nutrients — into Mediterranean seawater, with unknown effects on marine ecology. They report their results in ACS’ journal Environmental Science & Technology.

Millions of people are hitting the beach slathered in sunscreen this summer. Some might choose “coral-safe” sunscreens that lack oxybenzone and octinoxate, the two substances most widely linked to coral reef damage. However, scientists don’t yet know what effects other trace compounds in sunscreens might have on marine ecosystems...

How Canadian Cops’ Legal Immunity Endangers the Public

By Lee Friday

Simply put, this gives the police an immense amount of leeway. Essentially, the police will determine whether the need to keep the public safe requires them to put the public at risk. This contradicts the first of six principles of the PSA under which “police services shall be provided throughout Ontario,” namely “The need to ensure the safety and security of all persons and property in Ontario [emphasis added].” This principle should preclude police pursuits which might put anyone in danger. That is, the police ought not be allowed to trade your safety for my safety, regardless of whether the danger arises from the reckless driving of the police, or the reckless driving of the criminal as a result of the police pursuit.

Unfortunately, these conflicting rules are typical of government policy. This is how bureaucrats, and especially courts, are given wide latitude to interpret the law, often protecting those who are supposed to protect us...

Epstein's "Madam" Found: Ghislaine Maxwell Living With Tech CEO In Multimillion Oceanfront Mansion

Jeffrey Epstein's former "best friend" and alleged procurer of underage girls, Ghislaine Maxwell, has been found after three years of speculation.

The 57-year-old British heiress was discovered laying low in a $3 million "secluded oceanfront property at the end of a long private road" in New England with her boyfriend, 43-year-old tech CEO Scott Borgerson, according to the Daily Mail.

The socialite's New England hideaway is an imposing three-story colonial property with five-bedrooms, wraparound terraces and sweeping grounds which reach to the ocean. The property is owned by tech CEO and maritime academic Dr Scott Borgerson.

Borgerson was seen by DailyMail.com in July running errands in the affluent community of Manchester-by-the-Sea, a half-hour drive from Boston.

The former Coast Guard officer, is also a member of the Council on Foreign Relations. He was married and is believed to have two children. -Daily Mail.

Webmaster's Commentary:

I do not care how imposing this piece of property, or its price tag, appear to be; someone in the US government has got the have the "male attributes" to sign a warrant for her arrest, go in there in the dead of night, and bring her back to state, under oath, precisely what she did for Epstein, and how.

The families of these young, under-age women, and those very same women, should have the right to know.

Unfortunately, the rich rarely eat their own. And I would almost be willing to bet, that both Maxwell and Dr. Borgerson, have their new digs scoped out, and these are countries with ZERO extradition treaties with the US, and will make a run for it, when they believe that the timing will let them do so, safely.

The 3 Errors of Conspiracy Theory, Even True Ones

Op-Ed by Jeffrey A. Tucker

Confirming the existence of a conspiracy requires an attitude of humility, a sense of proportionality, and a scientific frame of mind, always looking for evidence that might refute as well as confirm your theory.

Of course in today’s wild west of information, ain’t nobody got time for that...
