Tennessee Teachers Are Worried You'll Overhear What They Teach Your Kids

Teachers are worried you’ll hear what they teach your kids.
A Tennessee school district asked parents to sign a form agreeing not to listen in or “eavesdrop” on online classes.

Parents were not a big fan of this idea, and after a backlash the district backed down.

But this wasn’t the first time schools worried about parents hearing what they are drilling into students’ brains.

One teacher complained on Twitter that virtual classrooms will have “potential spectators… overhearing the discourse.”

Several teachers expressed concern about parents overhearing “honest conversations about gender/ sexuality” in his classroom which usually has a “what happens here stays here” policy.

Apparently these gender and sexuality-obsessed public school teachers want to have sensitive conversations with your children behind your back.

Webmaster's Commentary:

This is one of the greatest arguments I have ever heard for home schooling.

Racial segregation at US universities is back, with the advent of black-only dormitories. Martin Luther King would be appalled

When students return to university next week, many will need to prepare for living and eating only with people of the same color. Whatever happened to the dream of a desegregated country?

Racial segregation is a really bad idea. So it is not surprising that advocates of identity politics are demanding that black-only dormitories should be established on American campuses.

The Washington Square News, the undergraduate students’ paper of New York University (NYU), recently reported that the university was willing to “help implement residential communities open solely to ‘Black identifying students with Black Residents Assistants.’” NYU aims to establish such a segregated residential floor by autumn 2021.

School District Mandates Bluetooth Equipped Temperature Armbands for Students and Staff

By B.N. Frank

Health warnings about exposure to wireless radiation – Bluetooth, cell phones, and WiFi – are NOT new. There is plenty of research that has determined exposure is harmful.

For the last several years, the American Academy of Pediatrics and other health experts have warned that children are more vulnerable to exposure. Risks include increased cancer, reduced immunity, “Microwave Sickness”, and much more. This is why schools worldwide have replaced WiFi with wired internet.

Unfortunately, because of coronavirus concerns, one New Jersey school district is requiring students and staff to increase their exposure by wearing Bluetooth-equipped temperature armbands. Sounds like a lawsuit in the making...

China Fires Two Missiles Into Sea As "Warning To US" In Huge Escalation Following Spy Plane Breach

Chinese media and regional sources are reporting what appears to be the biggest provocation yet amid the months-long US-China ratcheting tensions in the South China Sea.

"China launched two medium-range missiles into the South China Sea on Wednesday morning, a source close to the Chinese military said, sending a warning to the United States," The South China Post reports in a major breaking development.

The launch is said to be in response to the major incident from Tuesday, wherein China's PLA military angrily denounced that a US U-2 spy plane allegedly entered a 'no-fly zone' off China's coast while the PLA conducted live-fire military drills. It was unclear exactly where the claimed breach of airspace happened, however.

Webmaster's Commentary:

I would like to hope that this administration will not continue to play "picador" with China, because there is a point in time when it will feel it cannot allow things to escalate past a point of no return, as that will cause China to "lose face", something which will have them ready to fight.

Moving Backwards : Tennessee school English lesson teaches that Whites are racists who oppress minorities

If you want to know why some teachers fear how virtual learning allows parents to witness their instruction, you don’t have to look further than an “English” lesson in Tennessee. In fact, one outraged father in the Metro Nashville Public School District is now pulling his seven-year-old daughter out of school because she was being taught that, as he put it, “white people are bad, mean & racist against African-Americans & Mexicans.”

As More Children Learn From Home, The State Is Cracking Down On 'Virtual Truancy'

As remote learning creates more distance between school districts and students, school and state officials are clinging to control however they can.

From sending Child Protective Services (CPS) agents to investigate charges of neglect in homes where children missed Zoom classes last spring, to proposing “child well-being checks” in homes this fall, government schools and related agencies are panicking over parents having increased influence over their children’s care and education during the pandemic.

‘Indoctrination’: Republicans reveal plan to ‘teach American exceptionalism’ if Trump re-elected, critics slam idea’s bankruptcy

President Donald Trump’s second term agenda includes a list of 50 points covering a variety of topics, but the goal to “teach American exceptionalism” has his critics especially outraged.

In a bullet-point press release put out just before the Republican National Convention, where Trump will officially accept his party’s nomination, education is actually the least focused with only two goals, compared to the many that accompany other areas like “Drain the Swamp” and “End Our Reliance on China.”

The two points that will be the administration’s objectives for education are: “provide school choice to every child in America” and “teach American exceptionalism.”

Gates and Big Tech “Reimagine” Post-Human Education: The “New Normal” is A.I. Data-Mining for “Social Credit”

By John Klyczek

In 1982, Special Advisor to the Department of Education’s Office of Research and Improvement, Charlotte Thomson Iserbyt, blew the whistle on Project BEST (Better Education Skills through Technology). A sub-project of President Ronald Reagan’s Private Sector Initiative, Project BEST was a plan to corporatize the American education system through public-private partnerships with Big Tech companies which replace human teachers with Skinnerian “teaching machines” programmed with psychological conditioning algorithms that train students for workforce placement in a planned economy.

NZ Study shows low-level tertiary courses put M?ori in debt with no earning gain

Researchers are urging the Government to stop funding low-level tertiary courses that put young M?ori into debt with no benefit to their future earnings.

Their study, He Awa Ara Rau, tracked education and employment of 76,000 M?ori to age 25.

It found 18 per cent got tertiary qualifications at levels 1-3 but those courses did not lead to higher incomes and better job prospects.

The study said even those who achieved NCEA level 2 at school and completed a level 3 certificate at a tertiary provider would have been better off staying at school.

"A disproportionate number of rangatahi leave school after completing NCEA Level 2 to go on to level 3 certificates at PTEs [Private Training Establishments]. Unfortunately those that do will earn significantly lower wages by age 25 than those rangatahi who stayed longer at school," the report said.

TEACHING INSANITY: Schools now teaching remote students “virtual fire drills” in case the buildings they’re NOT occupying catch fire

Demonstrating the utter uselessness of public schooling, some school districts are reportedly now holding “virtual fire drills” in which students are being instructed how to evacuate buildings where they are not even present due to Wuhan coronavirus (COVID-19) restrictions.

In a video clip that has gone viral, the son of Jason Hammer, the host of the “Hammer and Nigel Show” on local Indiana radio, shows his dad a map of the school where he would have attended in person if covidiocy had not become the new law of the land.

“Today we have a virtual fire drill where they are showing us where to walk out of the building that we are not in right now in case that building catches fire,” the boy states, trying not to laugh.

IF YOU ARE READING THIS, YOU MIGHT BE A CONSPIRACY THEORIST

The idea of science is now a badly corrupted idea. In a nation, today, (the USA) which in educational terms ranks 25th globally in science skills and reading, and well below that in math; all one hears is a clarion call to science. In reading skills the US placed below Malta, Portugal, and right about the same as Kazakhstan.

The US jobless rate just hit 2.1 million. Officially. Making the total something over forty million. Its much higher in reality. Nobody has work. There is no work and we are at the start of a period of massive evictions, foreclosures, and delinquencies — and the homeless population will soon reach Biblical proportions (in some cities, such as Los Angeles, its already Biblical). Will be simply of a magnitude never before seen.

Britain's 'A-Level' Results Crisis & The COVID-Education Train-Wreck

Via Yves Smith's NakedCapitalism.com,

Many of you in the US likely missed the A level testing algo fiasco. Here is the short version, from the Financial Times yesterday:

The government is under mounting pressure to come to the aid of secondary school pupils in England after almost 40 per cent of A-level grades were downgraded from teachers’ predictions.

Amid an angry backlash from pupils and teachers, opposition parties and trade unions led calls for ministers to review how A-level results were modified by examination regulators using a computer algorithm.

But Boris Johnson, prime minister, defended the contentious arrangements aimed at preventing unwarranted grade inflation, saying there had been a “robust” marking system.

The English Language and Grammar are Racist! Get Rid of Them!

While this agenda has not yet asserted its dominance over the literary canon or the accepted norms and style for serious writing and communication, it has in fact had tremendous success in modes of communication such as Twitter and Instagram, which increasingly control cultural expression. And one can argue that it is just a matter of time before the swirling linguistic revolution, with its already de facto acceptance and everyday normalcy, reaches the college classroom and the publishing houses, as well as the media. Indeed, the entertainment industry no longer resists it to any great extent.

2020-2021 Public Schools: The Accelerated Indoctrination and Health Destroying System of Child Control Due to a ‘Virus’

Depending on which phase is claimed by the school district in question, protocols will be very invasive, will be based on isolation, will include constant washing and chemical-based disinfecting solutions, and even government-created student hygiene education, which is anything but healthy. Washing and ‘sanitizing’ before every entry and exit of a classroom will be mandated as well. Bleach solutions will be used to sanitize constantly throughout the day, and all students will be forced to ‘sanitize’ every time they leave a classroom. Distancing will be mandatory and constant. Temperature checks will happen upon arrival and throughout the day when ‘necessary.’ Any movement of students inside or outside the school will be administered by ‘movement specialists,’ if that nonsense is even believable?

Large-Scale Scientific Study Shows That ‘Pupils Pose No Risk of Spreading Covid’ in the Classroom

A large-scale scientific study conducted throughout the United Kingdom has shown that students “pose no risk” of spreading the Chinavirus when returning to the classroom.

“A new study that has been done in UK schools confirms there is very little evidence that the virus is transmitted in schools,” said Professor Russell Viner, who works as president of the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health and also serves on the government advisory group Sage.

“This is the some of the largest data you will find on schools anywhere. Britain has done very well in terms of thinking of collecting data in schools,” he added.

The study was carried out in 100 institutions across Britain. Viner believes that its findings make it “imperative” for children to promptly be returned to school. Prime Minister Boris Johnson is adamant about the kids being immediately returned to school as well.

There’s no medical reason for keeping schools shut. In fact, it is causing much more harm to children than Covid-19 ever could

Keeping schools closed, as many teaching unions want, will cause more injuries and deaths to children and long-term damage to their educations. Yet the threat from Covid-19 to them – and to their teachers – is tiny.

Has the world ever been more frightened of something less frightening? For people aged seventy and above, who have underlying health problems, Covid-19 is something to be extremely concerned about. For those under twenty, the risk of death is almost non-existent.

Since the start of the pandemic the total number of deaths in England and Wales of people under the age of twenty is… fourteen. With no additional deaths, at all, in the last month. Overall, this represents a risk of death that is significantly less than one in a million.

It’s about compliance, not science: Virginia officials demand students get vaccinations to participate in ONLINE learning from home

Public health officials in Virginia are warning prospective students to get all the required vaccinations before the start of the school year in order to do online virtual learning from their home. If parents do not comply and do not show proof their kid got the injections, then their kid won’t be able to access the online learning materials provided by the school district. This is a threat. It’s also a lie, an empty threat, because children belong to their parents, not the state.

ONLINE VIRTUAL CLASSES ARE NOW REQUIRING IMMUNIZATIONS FOR STUDENTS TO ATTEND

SOURCE: INTELLIHUB
Online virtual classrooms in the State of Virginia are now requiring students who attend to be immunized against various illnesses despite the fact that the pupils will be taking classes from the comfort of their own home in what can only be considered a blatant push to inject poisonous toxins and metals into to bodies of schoolkids.

The unconstitutional order comes after a high number of parents have refused to take their children to get their standard yearly cocktail dose of vaccines which during a non-COVID school year would allow students to attend school physically.

As rumor has it, parents are concerned about taking their children to get vaccinations due to the current purported COVID-19 outbreak. However, people, in general, may just be waking up to the real dangers of vaccines and may just be to the point where they are outright refusing them altogether.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Here's What You Need To Know About Sending Your Child Back To School This Year

Questions to Ask Yourself
Let’s talk more about the decision making process. Questions you might ask yourself are:

Am I putting my child and family at undue risk by sending my child to school in the fall? Check out this article.

Will my child fall behind because of a chaotic schedule at the school (some days or weeks online, others in the classroom)

How will school districts measure the effectiveness of this new mode of learning? How will teachers be evaluated? How will my child be evaluated? How will I know my child will be ready for the next grade and has the skills s/he needs?

What additional vaccination requirements will be imposed on my child and our family if my child attends a school?

What will discipline in the schools look like in the fall? Will my child or family be reported to the authorities if s/he takes their mask off? Will my family be fined?

How will wearing a mask all day long affect my child’s health?

Webmaster's Commentary:

21st century "education" in this country is little more than social indoctrination in what passes for "public schooling" in this country.

If you can, and are working with motivated kids, home schooling is really the best way to go; very few educators can ever know a child the way their mom and dad know them, and this is a distinct advantage for a home-schooled child.

Home schooled kids beat the pants off publicly educated kids from most US school districts, when it comes to standardized college admission tests.

According to Merriam-Webster, a labor union is “an organization of workers formed for the purpose of advancing its members’ interests in respect to wages, benefits, and working conditions.”

Yet each year during the first week of July the NEA hosts its representative assembly at which delegates adopt hundreds of new business items, most of which have nothing to do with wages, benefits or working conditions.

For example, NEA supports sanctuary cities, abolishing ICE, the normalization of an endless number of genders, lenient discipline policies, ousting police, Black Lives Matter trainings in K-12 schools and many more divisive political issues.
Consequently, retired teacher Jeralee Smith and dozens of her dedicated teacher colleagues attend this meeting annually to try to make the voices of teachers heard over the din of NEA’s political agenda.

I described my school days and the cooperation of the class with discipline so that the teaching function could proceed. In my school days, white boys were more rowdy than the intimidated cowed beings they are today with their manhood under continual assault. The teachers had unchallengeable authority backed up by principal and parents. It was such firm authority that it did not have to be used.

I told the teacher my theory that busing destroyed discipline because it destroyed the PTA–the Parent-Teachers Association which ensured parental input and support for the education function of the school. Busing meant that for many parents, the school was too far distant to attend regular meetings, and the PTA shriveled away.

Will Economics Fall to Politics?

The intense pressure to politicize every aspect of academia will not spare economics, and why would it? A society willing to topple statues is hardly one to worry about pulling down a body of knowledge, especially one skillfully characterized by the Left as a political program rather than an actual social science.

How The “Great Reset” Is Targeting Our Children & Plans To “Reimagine” Humanity

By Spiro Skouras

In this episode, Spiro is joined by John Klyczek, an Adjunct Professor, researcher, contributor to Activist Post as well as several other alternative news sites, and the author of the book School World Order: The Technocratic Globalization of Corporatized Education.

For generations the social engineers have used the strategy of indoctrination to target society’s most impressionable minds, our children, through many avenues but primarily through our education systems. In this interview, Spiro and John Klyczek break down how this longstanding and effective tactic is being “reimagined” by the usual suspects, to reshape the future of humanity.

Donald Trump slams Harvard for not fully reopening in fall as he threatens 'pressure' on governors to get schools open again at White House event with Melania

President Trump lashed out at Harvard Tuesday for the Ivy League university's decision to hold classes online for the next year.

'I see Harvard announced that they're closing for the season, for the year,' the president said during his closing remarks at an event focused on reopening U.S. schools. 'I think it's ridiculous. I think it's an easy way out. And I think they ought to be ashamed of themselves.'

The president has been gung ho about opening schools despite the uptick in COVID-19 cases throughout the United States.

Three Ideas To End The Rot On College Campuses

In the early 1950s, at the nadir of McCarthyism, the Cincinnati Reds baseball team was so fearful of anti-communist crusaders that it actually changed the team’s name. Overnight, they reverted to their original name, the Cincinnati Red Stockings, and then for several years became the Redlegs. The anti-communism was justified; the mob mentality was not.

CAMBRIDGE UNIVERSITY BACKS ACADEMIC WHO TWEETED 'WHITE LIVES DON'T MATTER' - AND PROMOTES HER TO PROFESSOR

The University of Cambridge has spoken out in support of one of its lecturers who was hit by a wave of abusive messages and death threats for tweeting 'White Lives Don't Matter'.

Dr Priyamvada Gopal, 51, who teaches in the Faculty of English at Churchill College, took to the social media platform on Tuesday evening to write: 'I'll say it again. White Lives Don't Matter. As white lives.'

However the controversial message, which has since been deleted by Twitter, was met with a barrage of outrage, with many people responding both publicly and privately with death threats and racist abuse.

Webmaster's Commentary:

To Dr. Gopal, I want to make my response crystal-clear.

I belong to one race; it is called "human", thank you very much, and in this context, you are my sister, as all humans are ultimately my brothers and sisters.

As a Christian, my job is to love you, not judge you; judgement is way above my "pay grade" as a believer.

As long as I can think, create, contribute, and love, at 71 years of age, I am still viable, not because I come from European ancestry, and in the sun, I stroke rather than tan, but because of these other qualities, which I work constantly to improve upon.

As a creatrix and active composer, I thoroughly refuse to define myself by what you may think of me, but how I define myself, as should all other beings on this planet.

And because I can still think, create, contribute, and love, my life matters as a human being.

You're welcome, Dr. Gopal!! :-)

White Student 'Executed' At Berkeley, Chancellor Responds With Statement Bringing Up George Floyd

UC Berkeley student Seth Smith, 19, was reportedly killed execution style with a gunshot to the back of the head two weeks ago just a mile away from his new apartment at Berkeley.

Berkeley Chancellor Carol Christ responded to the killing on Monday in a statement to students that many interpreted as downplaying Smith's murder.

Two Kids Sue Google for Allegedly Collecting Students’ Biometric Data with Their Educational Tools

By B.N. Frank

Google is well known already for collecting data on customers with their products and services. This is sometimes referred to as “Surveillance Capitalism” and many businesses do it whether customers are aware of it or not.

Now 2 kids are striking back about alleged involuntary data collection by Google while using the company’s educational tools, affecting potentially millions of students...

Colorado Adopts Mandatory Vaccinations for Children

While a Sunday afternoon may not seem an appropriate time for a legislative body to accept witness testimony or to conduct its legislative business unless there is a clear intent to limit public participation. That kind of strategy has a way of boomeranging with a loss of public trust and confidence; yet the Democrats had an intense legislative urge to codify SB 163 with as little public input as possible. The Dems control both Houses of the General Assembly as well as the Governor’s mansion; thereby controlling the State’s entire legislative agenda.

What the Democrats were not counting on was Robert F. Kennedy, Jr., on his way to becoming a national icon, who arrived to testify against SB 163. He was allotted two minutes to address the committee. What else the Dems were not counting on was a last-minute rally attended by 3,000 outside the Capitol that Sunday afternoon. Kennedy quoted one of the Democratic members of the Committee who told the media:

These are very revealing excerpts from a professional university medical study conducted in Saudi Arabia in 2012, on the health effects of using of face coverings "niqab". The study used 38 young healthy non-smoking and non-obese women. 18 of them wore face coverings for 4 or more hours per day and the rest did not. Note that in many references the doctors compare the effects with those of face masks

UNIVERSITY PROFESSOR LOSES ADMIN JOB FOR STATING THAT "MEN CANNOT GET PREGNANT"

SOURCE: VIGILANT CITIZEN

Kathleen Lowrey is an associate professor of anthropology at the Faculty of Arts of the University of Alberta, in Canada. She is also serving as the chair of the undergraduate program – an administrative role which includes duties such as chairing a committee about courses, approving transfer credits, and running a special seminar for honors students in the department.

She’s also a feminist. However, according to some anonymous students and the higher-ups of her University, she is not the right kind of feminist. Because she believes that women are … women. Even worse, she believes that men cannot be women because they don’t have a vagina.

These extreme and radical views caused her to become “problematic” as she was pressured to leave her administrative role. When she refused to do so, she was fired.

Webmaster's Commentary:

This firing of this professor smacks of desperation on the cusp of madness.

And speaking of this, when has it become "illogical" to say that biological males cannot have children, to the point when you fire a professor for making that obseervation?!?

Folks, this is an industrial-strength slippery slope moment in Canadian academia which is going to have to be addressed, sooner or later, and I would like to hope, for the sake of free discussion, it is addressed sooner.

FDA APPROVES FIRST-EVER PRESCRIPTION VIDEO GAME

For the first time, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) authorized doctors to prescribe a video game as a form of medical treatment.
An iOS game called EndeavorRX seems to help kids between eight and 12 years old who have ADHD, The Verge reports. And while the actual evidence to support those claims is somewhat shaky, the concept of a prescription video game is still a fascinating world-first that’s been years in the making.

A trailer for EndeavorRX suggests that the gameplay is pretty straightforward — players steer a cartoonish vehicle left or right to hit targets and avoid obstacles while it cruises forward. According to clinical research conducted by Akili Interactive, the company behind the game, it seemed to improve some kids’ attention spans.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Something OTHER than a drug for ADHD?!?

IF this really works, bravo to the computer engineers who created this!!

Democrats (Accidentally) Make The Case Against Teachers' Unions

Via IssuesInsights.com,

In the wake of George Floyd’s death and the subsequent protests/riots calling for “defunding the police,” Democrats have started targeting police unions, saying they are obstacles to accountability and reform. Do they realize that the same can be said of teachers’ unions?

Via IssuesInsights.com,

In the wake of George Floyd’s death and the subsequent protests/riots calling for “defunding the police,” Democrats have started targeting police unions, saying they are obstacles to accountability and reform. Do they realize that the same can be said of teachers’ unions?

“The greater the political pressure for reform, the more defiant the unions often are in resisting it — with few city officials, including liberal leaders, able to overcome their opposition,” the Times reports.

No kidding.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Here in Indiana, the teachers are not unionized, but looking at our young family members, the quality of education our young students are getting, is nothing short of outstanding.

In looking at the youth in my church, the precise same thing can be said.

But if unions can commit so much money to prevent change, how is change going to happen?!?

The short answer is, it cannot.

A FEW MUST-SEE VIDEOS FOR AMERICANS — ESPECIALLY "WHITE" AMERICANS

This title was originally "Out of the ashes, a Pheonix."

It only took us days of protesting, eventually involving all 5o states and several other countries, but all four officers involved in the death of George Floyd have finally been charged.

There seems to be reason for hope, despite the added pain and in some cases loss of life that that caused.

If you see only one, see this one:

But you should see more than one if you can. I have curated a selection, not comprehensive by any means, here.

Because maybe we are getting somewhere after all.

Betsy Devos’s Hunger Games: Making Locked-Down Schools Compete for “Career Pathways,” Artificial Intelligence Grants

By John Klyczek

The first provision for “microgrants for families” will basically distribute “free” laptops, tablets, and other computer devices to impoverished families in order to “ensure they have access to the technology and educational services.”

These “free” devices will provide the computer hardware for e-learning software programs that will be financed by the second provision for “Statewide virtual learning and course access programs,” such as AI “adaptive learning” software, a modern digitalized version of B. F. Skinner’s “teaching machine” upgraded with artificial-intelligence software that replaces human teachers with “programmed instruction” which data-mines students’ cognitive-behavioral algorithms in order to “personalize” virtual workforce-training lessons with operant-conditioning feedback through online career-pathways modules...
