Grocery shortages deepen as pandemic dries supplies… (article deflects the incompetence of the Biden regime though)

High demand for groceries combined with soaring freight costs and Omicron-related labor shortages are creating a new round of backlogs at processed food and fresh produce companies, leading to empty supermarket shelves at major retailers across the United States.

Is Someone About To Light The Match Which Will Spark A War With Russia?

For years, I have been warning about the steady deterioration of U.S. relations with Russia, and now events appear to be building up to a grand crescendo. -- But a war doesn’t have to happen. -- It should be so easy to reach an agreement with Russia that will bring stability to the region. -- Unfortunately, the Biden administration can’t seem to do anything right, and pretty soon someone might end up crossing a line that will never be able to be uncrossed.

Should You Move While You Can, Or When You Must?

Knowing this, I don’t ask this question lightly: Should You Move While You Can, Or When You Must? The question is consequential because the window in which we still have options can slam shut with little warning. -- The origin of the question will be visible to those who have read my blog posts in 2021 on systemic fragility, our dependence on long, brittle supply chains, the vulnerabilities created by these dependencies and my polite (I hope) suggestions to fashion not just a Plan B for temporary disruptions but a Plan C for permanent disruptions.

Which States Are the Freest? (With Map and List)

Our liberties have taken a beating in recent years, accelerated by governments' enthusiasm for leveraging COVID-19 as an excuse for further tightening control over society. We long ago arrived at the point where newly published assessments of the health of personal and economic freedom elicit winces before we even read the gloomy summaries. So the arrival of the latest edition of the Cato Institute's Freedom in the 50 States is welcome both for its somewhat optimistic take on the future of pandemic-fueled restrictions as well as for the handy guide it offers for people looking to relocate within the United States to places where valued freedoms enjoy protection.

The Push For A Fourth Shot Is Ramping Up

("Leading infectious disease expert") Head medical tyrant Anthony Fauci said it’s “conceivable” that a second booster could be needed. “But right now we are hoping that we will get a greater degree of durability of protection from that booster shot,” he said. -- For the general population, another shot is inevitable and could come soon, says Robert Murphy, the executive director of the Havey Institute for Global Health at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine. -- Roll up your sleeves, slaves. We already let them steal half of the fruits of our labor, why not just roll over for this too?

GOP Leader McCarthy Tells Jan 6 Committee He Will Not Cooperate

House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) is following in the footsteps of several of his GOP colleagues. On Wednesday, McCarthy informed the House Select Committee investigating the Jan. 6 riot at the Capitol that he would not be cooperating with the committee.

McCarthy voiced what has become a similar belief about the committee by many Republicans: “As a representative and the leader of the minority party, it is with neither regret nor satisfaction that I have concluded to not participate with this select committee’s abuse of power that stains this institution today and will harm it going forward.”

He also called the committee “illegitimate.”

How convenient! Warning labels on CIGARETTES now changed to cover for Covid vaccine-induced deaths claiming “small amounts” of SMOKE trigger “sudden blood clots, heart attacks and strokes”

Cigarette smoke and even second-hand smoke somehow, all of a sudden, can trigger blood clots, heart attacks and strokes, according to cigarette manufacturers and distributors. This comes as a huge coincidence in its timing as millions of people around the world who have been injected with Fauci Flu shots are now suffering or have died from those exact “side effects.” What you are about to see is Big Tobacco covering for Big Pharma as cigarette warning labels now pretend that cigarettes will kill or maim you the same exact way that the Covid jabs do. One hand washes the other. -- How convenient. In just one year, cigarette smoke, even second-hand smoke, since it has been proven by science to be just as deadly as what the smoker breathes in, is now causing instant blood clots that kill you. Surely the masses will think this is “science” and the CDC just trying to help.

MEDICAL MARTIAL LAW: Bill filed in Washington to create “strike force” to hunt down and “involuntarily detain” the unvaccinated

State legislators in Washington have filed a bill that would authorize the creation of a “strike force” that will be used to “involuntarily detain” people who remain unvaccinated against the Wuhan coronavirus (COVID-19). -- The bill is known as “WAC 246-100-040.” It is a proposed revision to the state’s COVID-19 pandemic protocol as laid out by the Communicable and Certain Other Diseases Act. The revision outlines “provisions for isolation or quarantine.” -- The amended provisions would give designated health officers in the state the discretion to “issue an emergency detention order causing a person or group of persons to be immediately detained for purposes of isolation or quarantine.”

The Fed Has Triggered A Stagflationary Disaster That Will Hit Hard This Year

I don’t think I can overstate the danger that the U.S. economy is in right now as we enter 2022. While most people are caught up in the ongoing drama of Covid-19, a REAL threat looms over the nation in the form of a stagflationary tidal wave. The mainstream media is attempting to place the blame on “supply chain disruptions,” but this is a misrepresentation of the issue.

In 2022, Cops in the Land of the Free Have Killed 2,200% More People Than All Mass Shooters Since 2018

Traffic stops in the land of the free, are a means of bolstering the prison industrial complex by extracting revenue from those who can pay and incarcerating others who cannot. -- For those too poor to pay their tickets, routine traffic stops end up in repeated imprisonment due to mounting fines. Cities across the country are running a de facto debtors’ prison this way. -- When cops aren’t routinely extorting and locking people up for petty traffic offenses, they are killing them.

Did Marjorie Taylor Greene cross line with Second Amendment comment? NOPE!

Now, to most of us, this looks like Greene warning us that Democrats are acting tyrannical and reminding Democrats not to push things too far. -- She clearly mentions tyrannical government first, after all. -- Now, Greene isn’t always known for taking care with her speech but this seems pretty clear. What it’s not, though, is a threat but, at most, a warning.

Unless, of course, Democrats see themselves as tyrants. -- That doesn’t stop them from freaking out over it.

Yachts To Be Exempt From EU's Carbon Pricing Plan

If there is anyone still confused why ESG, and the entire "green" movement is one giant, boiling cauldron of lies, hypocrisy and fraud, read on.

Last summer, we reported that the European Commission - that murder of career bureaucrats - has proposed exempting private jets, the one most polluting form of transportation, from the planned EU jet fuel tax. A draft indicated that the tax would be phased-in for passenger flights, including ones that carry cargo. Private jets will enjoy an exemption through classification of "business aviation" as the use of aircraft by firms for carriage of passengers or goods as an "aid to the conduct of their business", if generally considered not for public hire. It gets better: a further exemption is given for "pleasure" flights whereby an aircraft is used for "personal or recreational" purposes not associated with a business or professional use.

Eight Young Women Reportedly Accompanied Epstein on His Visits to Bill Clinton's White House

Bill Clinton has repeatedly denied any wrongdoing over his relationship with the late convicted paedophile, Jeffrey Epstein, amid reports that the 42nd US president flew on the disgraced financier's private plane "Lolita Express" at least 26 times after he left office.

Jeffrey Epstein often brought young women with him during the late convicted sex trafficker's trips to the Bill Clinton White House between 1993 and 1995, according to visitor logs obtained by the Daily Mail.

The logs reveal the names of a total of eight women who accompanied Epstein within that period, including four who were known to be Epstein's girlfriends, including Celina Midelfart, Eva Andersson-Dubin, Francis Jardine, and sweetheart-turned-madam Ghislaine Maxwell.

GOP to bar its candidates from presidential debates

The Republican National Committee (RNC) has signaled plans to essentially boycott the group that runs US presidential debates, saying GOP voters no longer trust the organization to treat candidates fairly.

“The RNC has a duty to ensure that its future presidential nominees have the opportunity to debate their opponents on a level playing field,” party chairwoman Rona McDaniel said on Thursday in a letter to the Commission on Presidential Debates (CPD). “So long as the CPD appears intent on stonewalling the meaningful reforms necessary to restore its credibility with the Republican Party as a fair and nonpartisan actor, the RNC will take every step to ensure that future Republican presidential nominees are given that opportunity elsewhere.”

BREAKING: Waukesha County Judge Deals HUGE BLOW to Democrats — Bans Use of Absentee Ballot Drop Boxes in Wisconsin

Waukesha County Circuit Court Judge Michael Bohren issued a summary judgment decision on Thursday banning ballot drop boxes in the state. Judge Bohren also banned illegal ballot harvesting in the state.

The Wisconsin Elections Commission (WEC) issued memos to Wisconsin clerks in March and August of 2020 encouraging their use, stating that absentee ballots do not need to be mailed by the voter or delivered by the voter, in person, to the municipal clerk, but instead could be dropped into a drop box. According to WEC, ballot drop boxes can be unstaffed, temporary, or permanent.

THE GOOD, THE BAD, AND THE UGLY ON THE SUPREME COURT VACCINE MANDATE OPINION

GOOD: Supreme Court holds vaccine mandate for businesses is illegal. (We absolutely gotta take a win when we get it!)

“Although Congress has indisputably given OSHA the power to regulate occupational dangers, it has not given that agency the power to regulate public health more broadly. Requiring the vaccination of 84 million Americans, selected simply because they work for employers with more than 100 employees, certainly falls in the latter category,” the unsigned opinion says.

BAD: The opinion absolutely leaves room for another mandate, tailored differently.

UGLY: The Court believes the feds had the power to pass the OSH Act in the first place – and get deeply involved in healthcare today.

“Political Power to Silence and Penalize Physicians who Question Certain Views on COVID-19”: Open Letter to Dr. Harmon and the American Medical Association (AMA)

he very essence of traditional medical practice is open discourse and debate. Years of education and experience grant physicians the right to analyze data, question it and demand answers. Any attempt to silence practitioners who are true to their profession, is an egregious assault on their autonomy and undermines the doctor-patient relationship. The danger of creating a top-down authoritarian practice of medicine, such as the AMA, in collusion with the FSMB, is advocating, would mean the end of a noble profession.

Judge rules absentee ballot drop boxes cannot be used in Wisconsin

Absentee ballot drop boxes can no longer be used in Wisconsin, a judge ruled on Thursday as the state prepares for spring and fall elections.

Waukesha County Circuit Court Judge Michael Bohren said that absentee ballots could not be returned through drop boxes, saying “there's no authority to do it,” the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reported. However, Bohren said that state law does allow for absentee ballots to be mailed back or handed in in-person.

That ruling follows a lawsuit that was filed by the conservative Wisconsin Institute for Law & Liberty (WILL) on behalf of two individuals in June. The lawsuit said that the Wisconsin Elections Commission had incorrectly interpreted election statues as to allow for drop boxes to be used for absentee ballots, saying that “only legally cast votes should count and counting illegally cast votes diminishes the value of those cast legally.”

Indiana looks to require voting machines with paper ballot backups by 2024

The Indiana General Assembly recently passed a bill out of that requires all counties in the state to have voting machines with at least some paper ballot backups by July 1, 2024.

State law now says counties have until Dec. 31, 2029 to replace voting machines with no paper backup, and the Republican supermajority in the Indiana General Assembly has resisted calls to move this up to an earlier date, until now.

House Bill 1116 requires counties using Direct Recording Electronic device (DREs) machine that has no paper ballot backups will either have to replace them or make sure that they have attachments called Voter Verifiable Paper Audit Trail [VVPAT] printers for at least 10% of all voting machines by July 1, 2024.

The four-count indictment alleges that Baltimore State's Attorney Marilyn Mosby, 41, lied about meeting qualifications for coronavirus-related distributions from a city retirement plan in 2020.

Federal prosecutors also allege that the Democratic prosecutor lied on 2020 application forms for mortgages to purchase a home in Kissimmee and a condominium in Long Boat Key.

Bills for 'bunny rabbits and ice cream' aren't 'rewarding': Psaki's bizarre defense of Biden who she says is pushing 'hard things' after collapse of voting rights push

Battered and bruised by 24 hours of rising inflation numbers, a Supreme Court block on vaccine mandates for private companies and all-but-certain defeat for a voting rights push, White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki reached for a favorite tool: Snark.

'We could certainly propose legislation to see if people support bunny rabbits and ice cream but that wouldn't be very rewarding to the American people,' she said, when asked whether it was time for a reset.

The Marshall plan: Senator to introduce a 'Fauci Act' forcing publication of financial interests after the chief medical advisor called him a 'moron' during Senate panel clash

Senator Roger Marshall said today he plans to introduce a 'Fauci Act' which would force the publication of financial interests after Chief Medical Advisor Dr Anthony Fauci called him a 'moron' during a Senate panel clash.

The Republican senator said he would propose a bill which would require the Office of Government Ethics (OGE) to provide the financial records for government officials whose information is not already public.

The legislation, titled the Financial Accountability for Uniquely Compensated Individuals (FAUCI) Act, came after Marshall and Fauci had a heated back-and-forth during which the doctor called the senator a 'moron'.

Democrats Block Plan to Remove Foreign Nationals from Voter Rolls

House Democrats this week blocked a plan that would have required states to remove foreign nationals from voter rolls.

On Wednesday, Democrats voted down an amendment by Rep. Rodney Davis (R-IL) that would have kicked likely hundreds, and potentially thousands, of foreign nationals off state voter rolls.

The amendment would have been tacked onto the Democrats’ “Freedom to Vote: John R. Lewis Act” which seeks to federalize all local and state elections with prohibitions on requiring photo identification when voting by mail and weakens current requirements that mandate states routinely clean their voter rolls.

“Common sense will tell you that combining noncitizens and eligible American voters on the same voter rolls is ripe for abuse,” Davis said on the House floor:

The Real Revolution Is Underway But Nobody Recognizes It

Revolutions have a funny characteristic: they’re unpredictable. -- The general assumption is that revolutions are political. The revolution some foresee in the U.S. is the classic armed insurrection, or a coup or the fragmentation of the nation as states or regions declare their independence from the federal government. -- By focusing on the compelling drama of political upheaval we’re missing the real revolution, which is social and economic: the Great Resignation, a global movement which in the U.S. has largely unrecognized American characteristics.

Supreme Court Blocks Biden OSHA Vax Mandate For Businesses, Allows Rule For Health Care Workers

Yet another weak "middle-ground" ruling from our "conservative" 6-3 Supreme Court.

Totalitarianism Continues Unabated: Both in Plain Sight and in the Shadows

Freedom lives only in the individual. Freedom is not based on ‘rights,’ because no man can give freedom to another, and no government can give or define any ‘rights’ of man. All freedom is inherent to humanity, but must be constantly defended and taken; never asked for, decided by fiat, or thought to exist due to the insanity of voting. The Right Direction : Wisconsin GOP unveils bill to teach real gun safety in schools

Democrats supposedly love the idea of “gun safety,” but a new bill in Wisconsin is about to put that love to the test. Who’s Sweating Now? Ghislaine Maxwell Ends Fight to Keep John Doe Names Sealed

A whole lot of John Does are likely more nervous this morning.

At issue? Virginia Giuffre’s request to unseal documents that name names in her since-settled civil lawsuit against Ghislaine Maxwell, which led to a lengthy and ongoing open-records battle.

In December of last year, a Manhattan jury in Maxwell’s trial returned guilty verdicts in five of the six charges against her after six days of deliberations. Maxwell faced federal charges that included conspiracy, violations of the Mann Act, and sex trafficking a minor for her role as Jeffrey Epstein’s longtime confidante and now-convicted accomplice, related to what prosecutors described as Epstein’s “Pyramid scheme” of sexual abuse of minor girls.

Depending on what lies underneath the redactions, the unsealed information could make waves inside the same courthouse, and around the world.

FILIBUSTED: Watch Tom Cotton Use Chuck Schumer's Old Speech to Defend Filibuster

As Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer and his fellow Democrats continue their uphill battle to weaken the filibuster in the name of voting rights, Sen. Tom Cotton (R-AR) is there to remind everyone that Chuck didn’t always feel this way.

Cotton hit the Senate floor for some advanced level trolling, reading some of Chuck Schumer’s comments in defense of the filibuster from 2005, including:

“Right now, we are on the precipice of a constitutional crisis. We are about to step into the abyss. I want to talk for a few minutes why we are on that precipice and why we are looking into that abyss.”

Let me first ask a fundamental question: What is the crisis that calls for the undoing of two centuries of tradition? … Are … Senators merely doing their jobs as legislators, responding to a generalized public calling for the abolition of the filibuster? Clearly not. It is not the American people at large who are demanding detonation of the nuclear option.”

Senate Democrats on brink of defeat on voting legislation despite frantic push

Senate Democrats are desperately searching for a way to pass voting legislation amid pressure from President Joe Biden, but the path ahead looks increasingly grim with influential moderates Joe Manchin and Kyrsten Sinema unlikely to support a rules change necessary to get the bills over the finish line despite a frantic lobbying campaign from their own party.

Biden called on the Senate to change its filibuster rules in a forceful speech on Tuesday and is coming to Capitol Hill on Thursday to meet with Senate Democrats to discuss the voting rights push. Senate Democrats are also holding a series of meetings on the issue, but so far Manchin and Sinema, two Democratic senators who have long expressed opposition to eliminating the 60-vote threshold for most legislation, appear unmoved.

What's in Democrats' latest voting legislation, and what would the bills do?

Democrats are making a renewed push to get federal voting legislation through the closely divided Senate, a move President Joe Biden continues to advocate.

Two voting bills are being weighed in the Senate.

The first is a wide-ranging measure called the Freedom to Vote Act, a compromise bill crafted by Senate Democrats after Sen. Joe Manchin, D-W.Va., said he wouldn't support a more expansive House bill, the For the People Act. That bill, which was first introduced in 2019 — before the latest surge of restrictive bills passed by Republican legislatures — included a lengthy list of Democratic priorities.

The second bill, the John Lewis Voting Rights Advancement Act, is an update to the Voting Rights Act of 1965. Sen. Lisa Murkowski, R-Alaska, signed on as a co-sponsor. A version of the legislation has already passed the House.

Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.) called on Democratic leaders to hold individual votes on portions of President Biden’s agenda, which he hailed as “enormously popular,” including proposals to expand Medicare and reduce prescription drug prices.

Sanders, chair of the Senate Budget Committee, told The Guardian in an interview published on Monday that Democrats need “??a major course correction,” noting that holding individual votes on different sections of the sweeping Build Back Better spending package would force those who oppose the measures to vote against them.

US politicians make a fortune from trading stocks in office. It’s time they were stopped

A hot topic in US politics right now is whether members of Congress should be able to trade stocks while in office. Georgia Senator Jon Ossoff plans to introduce a bill that would bar members and their immediate family members from trading individual stocks in the stock market, which comes in the wake of a massive congressional insider-trading scandal in 2020 and a five-month investigation by Business Insiderinto federal lawmakers’ personal finances.

To briefly summarize, that investigation revealed at least 54 members of Congress and 182 senior-level congressional staffers had violated federal conflict-of-interest laws. It also found that the STOCK Act, which exists to punish this kind of behavior, is inconsistently applied – if at all.

Politicians, judges, and TV reporters seen as least ethical – poll

A new poll has found Americans have an unfavorable opinion of the ethics and honesty of people who mainly work in the media and politics.

Gallup’s Wednesday survey noted that five of the 22 professions examined find themselves at “new lows in public esteem,” showing significant dips in favorability from past annual polls.

Television reporters, for instance, have seen their “ethics rating” – meaning how many view them as “highly” ethical and honest – drop from 23% to 14%, according to Gallup data. Judges have also seen a hit in the public’s perception of their ethics, dropping five points to 38%.

“Americans are most skeptical of the ethics of elected officials, particularly at the federal level, as well as the media,” the report notes.

MARK FINCHEM EXCLUSIVE: Democrats Want to Federalize Elections and Ignore the US Constitution

The Democrats want to federalize elections and ignore the US Constitution.
The importance of teaching the subject of American History is demonstrated in these times by the Democratic Party and their lust for more and more power. They seem to hate the very constitution that they took an oath to protect and defend; they justify their acts just like a medieval physician whose ineptness killed the patient in an effort to save him or her. Aside from the rampant fraud in voter rolls, now proven electronic tabulation equipment vulnerabilities, ballot stuffing, and the irredeemably compromised 2020 General Election, Democrats now seek to usurp the power and authority over all elections, and in so doing engage in a coup against both the Constitution and the People simultaneously.
