Russia, U.S. to Hold Talks on Nuclear Strategic Stability Next Month - Ifax

Russia will hold a new round of talks with the United States on nuclear strategic stability next month, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said on Tuesday.

The Interfax news agency quoted Lavrov as saying the two sides could reach some agreements in the field in the future.

US Military Official Claims China Will Surpass Russia as Nuclear Threat

As the US military is focused on China, Pentagon officials are inflating the threat of Beijing to justify more spending and expansion in Asia. Last week, the deputy commander of US Strategic Command (STRATCOM) claimed China will soon surpass Russia as Washington’s top nuclear threat.

“There’s going to be a point, a crossover point, where the number of threats presented by China will exceed the number of threats that currently Russia presents,” Lt. Gen. Thomas Bussiere told an online forum on Friday.

China’s nuclear arsenal is estimated to be somewhere between 300 and 350 warheads, while the US and Russia each possess around 6,000, give or take a few hundred. But Bussiere insists it is not the size of China’s arsenal that makes them a threat, but how they’re “operationally fielded.” He said he believes China will overtake Russia as a nuclear threat “in the next few years.”

With Russia & China cooperating militarily, America must deal with 'two peer opponents' for first time – US Strategic Command head

The close military cooperation between Russia and China is cause for great concern, and the authorities in Washington must seriously reconsider its current strategy of "containment" towards the two large Eurasian superpowers.

That's according to Admiral Charles Richard, the commander of United States Strategic Command, who spoke in an online forum discussion with the Hudson Institute.

According to Richard, the US has never before "faced two peer opponents" with nuclear weapons and high-technology systems, noting that China's rapid progression in nuclear, space, and cyber technologies means that Washington must think carefully about its next steps. In particular, Richard stated that China, unlike the US and Russia, is not constrained by treaties regarding its nuclear forces.

"Russia still remains the near-term pacing threat," Richard said, suggesting that Beijing would soon overtake Moscow as Washington's most capable foe.

Exclusive: Samples From Early Wuhan COVID Patients Had Genetically Modified Henipah, One of Two Types of Viruses Sent From Canadian Lab

Samples from early Wuhan COVID-19 patients show the presence of genetically modified Henipah virus, an American scientist has found.

Henipah was one of the two types of viruses sent to China by Chinese-born scientists from a Canadian laboratory at the centre of a controversy over the firing of the scientists and collaboration with Chinese military researchers. It is not clear whether the virus found in the Chinese samples is related to the samples sent by the Canadian lab, which were shipped in late March 2019.

The finding was confirmed for The Epoch Times by another qualified scientist.

The evidence was first found by Dr. Steven Quay, a Seattle-based physician-scientist and former faculty member at the Stanford University School of Medicine, who looked at early COVID-19 samples uploaded by scientists at the Wuhan Institute of Virology (WIV) shortly after China informed the World Health Organization about the SARS-CoV-2 outbreak.

Coronavirus modifications, undisclosed virus incidents details, close contact with Fort Detrick: Six doubts surround US' UNC labs

The COVID-19 pandemic prevention and control situation remains grim across the world. As the virus continues rapidly mutating and the new variants spread much more readily, many countries have witnessed COVID-19 cases rebound. At this critical moment, the international community should unite together to fight the pandemic. However, the US government continues to engage in political manipulation and hype rumors including the so-called "Wuhan laboratory leak theory," casting a heavy cloud over possible international cooperation against the pandemic.

But according to the disclosed information, it's the lab at the University of North Carolina (UNC) and Ralph Baric, in charge of the UNC lab at Chapel Hill, that remain surrounded with questions and mysteries. It is these two entities that owe the world an explanation when it comes to the "lab leak" theory.

FLASHBACK - Army germ lab shut down by CDC in 2019 had several 'serious' protocol violations that year

In 2019, an Army laboratory at Fort Detrick that studies deadly infectious material like Ebola and smallpox was shut down for a period of time after a CDC inspection, with many projects being temporarily halted.

The lab itself reported that the shutdown order was due to ongoing infrastructure issues with wastewater decontamination, and the CDC declined to provide the reason for the shutdown due to national security concerns.

Israel’s Nukes Make US Aid Illegal

Peter Beinart’s New York Times essay "America Needs to Start Telling the Truth About Israel’s Nukes" earlier this month caused a firestorm. In it, Beinart noted how the prevalence of US "lies of omission" allow policymakers and politicians to pretend Israel does not have nuclear weapons. This in turn generates the false narrative that Iran’s nuclear program could initiate a Middle East nuclear arms race. Beinart laments how US deceptions about Israel’s nuclear arsenal undermine America’s self-proclaimed status as a champion of non-proliferation.

What Beinart did not appear to know – until educated by Twitter users – is what machinery keeps the US in lockstep with Israeli so-called "nuclear ambiguity" and why it exists.

China’s military nuclear orders rise fourfold in push to catch up with US

The main contractor for China’s nuclear projects has seen a massive increase in orders from the military compared with a year ago, signalling Beijing’s intensified push to boost its military nuclear capacities.

China Nuclear Engineering and Construction Group Corporation Limited reported that the value of its military contracts in the first seven months had surged nearly fourfold year-on-year.

Observers said the figures reflected China’s steadfast efforts to catch up with the United States, which is increasingly concerned about China’s nuclear capabilities, including recent reports about the build-up of missile silos.

Secret gag order hides Israel’s espionage & theft of US nuclear technology

A classified 2012 gag order issued under Obama prohibits all governmental officials, including Congress members, from mentioning Israel’s nuclear arsenal…

Israel has been allowed to get away with massive espionage directed against the US and the theft of material and technology – while also being engaged in a conspiracy that distorts America’s foreign policy, largely done to keep getting the billions of dollars that it is not entitled to receive under existing American law…

This might be construed as treason…

Israel’s Secret Arsenal: It’s Not So Secret Anymore

Few Americans are aware of the fact that no U.S. government official, to include congressmen, can in any way mention or discuss Israel’s nuclear arsenal, which is estimated by some observers to consist of as many as 200 tactical nuclear weapons which can be delivered on target by air, land or sea. The prohibition is spelled out in a Department of Energy “classification bulletin” graded Secret, which was issued on September 6, 2012 and bears the file number WPN-136. The subject line reads “Guidance on Release of information Relating to the Potential for an Israeli Nuclear Capability.” It would be interesting to learn exactly how the text of the memo reads, but in spite of repeated attempts to obtain a copy under the Freedom of Information Act, the entire body of the document is completely blacked out.

ISRAELI AMBASSADOR TO U.S. SEEMINGLY ACKNOWLEDGES THAT ISRAEL HAS NUCLEAR WEAPONS

ON WEDNESDAY, a quiet but notable event occurred on Twitter. First, Robert Satloff, head of the Washington Institute for Near East Policy, posted the below tweet approvingly referring to “Israel’s nuclear deterrent.” Then the tweet was liked by Gilad Erdan, the Israeli ambassador to the U.S. and the United Nations.

It’s difficult to interpret this in any other way than Erdan confirming that Israel possesses nuclear weapons:

60 years after use of Agent Orange in Vietnam, US still fails to recognize all its victims even among own troops, veteran tells RT

Decades after the US dropped millions of gallons of the toxic chemical Agent Orange on Vietnam, it still fails to apply “common sense” even to the plight of American veterans exposed to it, the head of an advocacy group told RT.

In August 1961, exactly 60 years ago, the US started its massive herbicidal warfare program during the Vietnam war. Tens of thousands of square kilometers of the Vietnamese territory were defoliated with some 20 million gallons of so-called “rainbow herbicides,” which included the infamous Agent Orange.

Hiroshima, Nagasaki and the Big Historical Lie

It is perceived wisdom throughout the Western world – particularly America – that the dropping of two nuclear bombs on Hiroshima and Nagasaki was “necessary” to end the war with Japan. Printed throughout textbooks in the post-war world, the understanding is that, had these targets not been struck, the war would have waged on indefinitely, with potentially untold American soldier and Japanese civilian deaths.

As the world commemorates the 68th anniversary of the attacks, however, it is important to take a step back and view the catastrophic event not through the prism of propaganda and mythologizing, but instead through the lens of historical scrutiny. For, as is often the case, the disparity between “Official History” and reality is characterized by lies and deceptions bolstered by patriotism and American exceptionalism.

25 mln netizens sign online petition for Fort Detrick probe

A Chinese netizen-initiated petition urging the World Health Organization to probe the U.S. Fort Detrick biolab concluded on Friday, garnering 25 million signatures online since its launch on July 17.

The online petition calling for a probe into the Fort Detrick represented the wide public opinion, said the Global Times newspaper, which was entrusted by a group of Chinese netizens to post the petition on social media.

The probe should revolve around the COVID-19 origin and the safety of the lab, according to the petition.

The Fort Detrick biolab stores dangerous infectious viruses and had a leak record in 2019 right before the pandemic, said the newspaper.

The Stage Is Being Set For A War Between Israel And Iran To Potentially Begin Before The End Of 2021

The clock has been ticking for a long time, and now Israel is telling us that Iran is “only around 10 weeks away from acquiring weapons-grade materials necessary for a nuclear weapon”.  The Israelis have always been very clear about the fact that they will never, ever allow the Iranians to get to that point, and so that would appear to leave only 10 weeks remaining to avert a major war in the Middle East.  And let us certainly hope that war can be averted, because a major war in the Middle East could easily spark a full-blown global war.  U.S. relations with both Russia and China continue to deteriorate very rapidly, and the Biden administration is being very aggressive with both of them.

New Russian ICBM to enter combat service in 2022: 208-ton Sarmat can carry 16 warheads and has operational range of 18,000km

Russia is poised to begin test flights of a new liquid-fueled, super-heavy intercontinental ballistic missile (ICBM), Defense Minister Sergey Shoigu has confirmed. The missiles are expected to enter service in 2022.

“Flight tests [will begin] this year and should be completed in 2022. In 2022, the first batch should enter service with the strategic missile forces,” Shoigu said on Friday while visiting Krasmash, a machine-building plant in Krasnoyarsk, Siberia.

The new RS-28 Sarmat ICBM is capable of carrying 16 warheads. The advanced silo-based system features a heavy liquid-propellant intercontinental ballistic missile, and is to replace the R-36M/R-36M2 Voevoda ICBM.

The new missile will be capable of hitting targets using either the North Pole or South Pole route, effectively bypassing any defense system employed by a potential enemy.

Rejection of US Hiroshima Myths Long Overdue

Hiroshima was "a military base." The US atomic bombings "ended the war," and they "prevented an invasion and saved lives." Our government’s tests of atomic weapons on people in Hiroshima and Nagasaki 76 years ago were rationalized using these myths which transformed indiscriminate destruction into a "good thing." This mythology stands as a roadblock to the elimination of nuclear weapons.

The "good bomb" story is still believed by many in the United States because of decades of deliberate myth-making started by President Truman. He announced after Hiroshima, "The world will note that the first atomic bomb was dropped on Hiroshima, a military base. That was because we wished this first attack to avoid, insofar as possible, the killing of civilians." Some 140,000 people were killed in Hiroshima, another 70,000 in Nagasaki. Almost all were civilians. The bombs were dropped miles from the nearest military base in both cases.

America Has Deployed Chemical and Biological Weapons on the Philippines, Puerto Rico, Vietnam, China, North Korea, Vietnam, Laos, Cambodia and More

The US experimentation with bio-weapons goes back to the distribution of cholera-infect blankets to American Indian tribes in the 1860s. In 1900, US Army doctors in the Philippines infected five prisoners with a variety of plague and 29 prisoners with Beriberi. At least four of the subjects died. In 1915, a doctor working with government grants exposed 12 prisoners in Mississippi to pellagra, an incapacitating disease that attacks the central nervous system.

After World War I, the United States went on a chemical weapons binge, producing millions of barrels of mustard gas and Lewisite. Thousands of US troops were exposed to these chemical agents in order to “test the efficacy of gas masks and protective clothing”. The Veterans Administration refused to honor disability claims from victims of such experiments. The Army also deployed mustard gas against anti-US protesters in Puerto Rico and the Philippines in the 1920s and 1930s.

FLASHBACK - The Project for a New American Century and the Age of Bioweapons

Police State measures grew swiftly with the Patriot Act and mass internal surveillance under the “crisis management” run by the neocon cabal in the White House. While a new type of regime change war was created abroad, dangerous protocols for Cheney’s “Continuity of Government” were set into motion and with these procedures, new mandates for Martial Law were created amplifying the powers, financing and deployment of U.S. Military capabilities both within the USA “under crisis conditions” and around the world.

Governments that had no connection to 9/11 were swiftly targeted for destruction using false evidence of “yellowcake” produced in the bowels of MI6, and a broader unipolar military encirclement of both Russia and China was set into motion which President Putin called out brilliantly in his famous 2007 Munich Security Conference Speech.

Who’s Afraid of Fort Detrick Probe?

An international online petition calling for an investigation into a US military laboratory and the possible origin of Covid-19 was hacked at the weekend. The hackers were reportedly based in the US.

Fort Detrick in Maryland is the center of American biowarfare research. It is just one of the hundreds of such infectious disease laboratories located across the United States. During the Cold War, Fort Detrick was the main site for experimenting with lethal pathogens, including viruses causing deadly influenza.

In 2001, when a disgruntled researcher is believed to have killed five people by mailing deadly anthrax spores it was Fort Detrick that was the origin of the lethal material.

Bombings of Hiroshima and Nagasaki - 1945

On August 6, 1945, the United States dropped an atomic bomb on the city of Hiroshima. The bomb was known as "Little Boy", a uranium gun-type bomb that exploded with about thirteen kilotons of force. At the time of the bombing, Hiroshima was home to 280,000-290,000 civilians as well as 43,000 soldiers. Between 90,000 and 166,000 people are believed to have died from the bomb in the four-month period following the explosion. The U.S. Department of Energy has estimated that after five years there were perhaps 200,000 or more fatalities as a result of the bombing, while the city of Hiroshima has estimated that 237,000 people were killed directly or indirectly by the bomb's effects, including burns, radiation sickness, and cancer.

First test launch of Sarmat ICBM due this fall — source

The first launch of Russia’s advanced Sarmat silo-based intercontinental ballistic missile (ICBM) is scheduled to take place this fall, a defense industry source has told TASS.

"The first launch of Sarmat as part of flight development tests will presumably take place this fall, the second one - in late 2021," the source said.

TASS did not receive an official confirmation of this information at the time of the publication.

Krasmash plant Director General Alexander Gavrilov told TASS in June that Sarmat flight tests had been scheduled for the third quarter of 2021.

Gene Splicing Pathogens to Make Biological Weapons Is Illegal — But Nobody Is Enforcing the Law

Brandeis University scientists are making dramatic progress with techniques for “gene splicing” — modifying the genetic makeup of organisms.

This work includes bioengineering pathogens for medical research, techniques that also can be used to create deadly biological weapons. It’s an overlap that’s helped fuel speculation that the SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus was bioengineered at China’s Wuhan Institute of Virology and that it subsequently “escaped” through a lab accident to produce the COVID-19 pandemic.

The world already has a legal foundation to prevent gene splicing for warfare: the 1972 Biological Weapons Convention. Unfortunately, nations have been unable to agree on how to strengthen the treaty. Some countries have also pursued bioweapons research and stockpiling in violation of it.

FLASHBACK - After mysterious shutdown, Fort Detrick still shrouded in secrecy

The U.S. Army base known as Fort Detrick recently came to the spotlight after a spokesperson for China's Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MOFA) questioned the base's transparency during a press briefing in January.

"If the U.S. truly respects facts, then please open the biological lab at Fort Detrick, show more transparency to issues like its 200-plus overseas bio-labs, invite WHO experts to conduct origin-tracing in the United States," MOFA spokesperson Hua Chunying said.

Fort Detrick is located in the quiet suburban town of Fredrick, some 50 miles outside of Washington, D.C. Since World War II, laboratories inside the military base have hosted some of the most dangerous and wicked scientific programs, including experiments for biological weapons.

Is FORT DETRICK the SOURCE of COVID-19?

In the months leading up to the Outbreak of COVID-19 in China, US media reported an outbreak of a fatal respiratory disease of unknown cause near Fort Detrick. What’s more, Fort Detrick was suddenly and mysteriously closed in July 2019, just before the onset of an unknown infectious disease a few months later, and the US government has so far been reluctant to explain why. Suspicions are growing and there are calls for an international investigation of the largest biological and chemical weapons site in the United States, but the the US Administration has repeatedly rejected such call.

In August 1945, Japan surrendered to the Allies and Unit 731’s leader, General Shiro Ishii, ordered his more than 10,000 workers to bury the evidence by destroying the facilities, killing and burying the remaining prisoners, releasing all disease-infected animals, and taking their secrets to the grave.

Damning Republican report into Wuhan lab claims COVID LEAKED out in September 2019 shortly after it tried to improve air safety and waste treatment systems

Coronavirus first leaked from a laboratory in Wuhan in September 2019, shortly after the Chinese research facility tried to improve air safety and waste treatment systems, a damning report by Republicans has claimed.

US Military Hypes Up Reports on China’s Nuclear Missile Silos

Recent reports have claimed China is massively expanding its nuclear arsenal based on what is said to be satellite images of missile silos. The latest report was published Tuesday by The New York Times and showed pictures that the Federation of American Scientists say are 110 nuclear missile silos being constructed in the desert of eastern Xinjiang.

Earlier in July, The Washington Post published satellite images that it claimed were over 100 missile silos being built near the northwestern Chinese city of Yumen. Some Chinese media outlets dismissed the report and said the picture was of windmills, and the image published at the top of the Post article has the words “Yumen Gansu Windfarm.” But since the report was published, the Chinese government has not confirmed or denied it.

A ‘New Cold War’ has already started, but Russia & China are winning against a ‘weakening’ West, says former Kremlin adviser

The Soviet Union might have lost the first Cold War, but Russia is ahead in the rematch with the US and, this time, has every chance of coming out on top. That's according to one well-known Moscow scholar, Sergey Karaganov.

Speaking to Russian newspaper Argumenty I Fakty, the academic argued that Moscow is now much stronger than it was during the late Soviet period, and the West has weakened in that time.

Karaganov has been one of Russia’s top foreign-policy theorists for decades, and has also advised President Vladimir Putin in the past. He is currently the head of the World Economy and International Affairs faculty at the Higher School of Economics (HSE), a prestigious university in Moscow. He is also well-known for the eponymous ‘Karaganov doctrine,’ which states that Moscow should act as a defender of human rights for ethnic Russians living in the near abroad.

Thirty years ago, the START-1 nuclear deal made the world a safer place: Now, the US & Russia risk returning to an atomic standoff

As of Saturday, 30 years have passed since the US and the Soviet Union signed the 1991 Strategic Arms Reduction Treaty (START I). Given the world has not yet descended into nuclear war, the weapons deal seems to have done its job.

When it entered into effect three years later, there was no USSR left. Nevertheless, its ambitious terms sought to draw a line under the steady increases in long-range nuclear weapons that had characterized the Cold War. Even more importantly, the pact actually reduced their numbers significantly, as cooler heads prevailed after the tumultuous years from 1979 to 1983, when the world seemed to tumble toward World War Three.

START I was not only ambitious, but also fully implemented within one decade, long before its official expiration in 2009. No mean feat, if you consider that one of the two contracting parties ceased to exist a few months after the signing of the treaty, leaving its commitments to be taken up by the new state of Russia.

The US Used Biological Warfare Against Mainland China in the 1950s

Back in the early 1950s, the U.S. conducted a furious bombing campaign during the Korean War, dropping hundreds of thousands of tons of ordnance, much of it napalm, on North Korea. The bombardment, worse than any country had received up to that point, excepting the effects of Hiroshima and Nagasaki, wiped out nearly every city in North Korea, contributing to well over a million civilian deaths. Because of the relentless bombing, the people were reduced to living in tunnels. Even the normally bellicose Gen. MacArthur claimed to find the devastation wreaked by the U.S. to be sickening.[1]

Most controversially, both North Korea and China alleged that by early 1952, the U.S. was using biological or germ warfare weapons against both North Korea and China. The U.S. government has strenuously denied this.

Coronavirus: Was US money used to fund risky research in China?

As the debate continues over the origins of the coronavirus, a fresh row has erupted over virus research being carried out in China using US funds.

It's linked to the unproven theory that the virus could have leaked from a lab in Wuhan, the Chinese city where it was first detected.

This idea centres on research carried out on bat viruses at the Wuhan Institute of Virology.

Republican Senator Rand Paul alleges that US money was used to fund research there that made some viruses (not the coronavirus) more infectious and more deadly, known as "gain-of-function".

But his assertion has been firmly rejected by Dr Anthony Fauci, the US infectious diseases chief.

FLASHBACK - New Evidence Implicates CIA in 1971 Attack on Cuba with African Swine Fever Virus

With at least the tacit backing of U.S. Central Intelligence Agency officials, operatives linked to anti-Castro terrorists introduced African swine fever virus into Cuba in 1971. Six weeks later an outbreak of the disease forced the slaughter of 500,000 pigs to prevent a nationwide animal epidemic.

A U.S. intelligence source told Newsday he was given the virus in a sealed, unmarked container at a U.S. Army base and CIA training ground in the Panama Canal Zone, with instructions to turn it over to the anti-Castro group.

FLASHBACK - Interesting Timing – Obama Administration Lifted Block on “Gain of Function Research” Just Eleven Days Before President Trump Took Office, January 9, 2017

Okay, straight talk. This discovery makes the suspicions of an intentionally released Pandemic virus, with a political intent, to “STOP TRUMP” look exponentially more plausible. SARS = Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome, the deadly consequence within COVID-19.

How America unleashed hell's agent in its own backyard: After Agent Orange left a trail of birth defects in Vietnam, a new film lays bare how the US sprayed it back home with devastating consequences

When Carol Van Strum moved to Five Rivers, Oregon, in 1974, she thought she had found the perfect rural idyll.

Surrounded by National Forest, her four young children could grow up close to nature. They loved fishing and playing by the river, fascinated by the little ‘dipper’ birds that sat on the rocks.

‘They knew everything that lived down there,’ she recalls. ‘There were beavers and otters in the river, and all the fish and herons and ospreys. So they just were part of that.’

Then one day the children fell sick, choking and gasping.

Down at the river, Carol found a scene of devastation — dead ducklings, crayfish and trout.

The cause seemed fairly obvious: a U.S. Forestry Service helicopter had been flying overhead the day before, spraying something over the land.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Agent Orange was developed in part at the University of Hawaii. During the research, two students were killed. The military tested Agent Orange on the Big Island and to this day there are large fenced-off areas where it is still too dangerous to enter.

China Influence Over WHO Waning As Calls For 2nd Lab Leak Investigation Intensifies

China opposes international efforts to delve deeper into investigating whether the coronavirus pandemic stemmed from a laboratory accident in a dispute that now pits the regime against the embattled World Health Organization chief.

“The work plan on the second phase origins study proposed by the WHO Secretariat is at odds with the position of China and many other countries on the issue,” Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman Zhao Lijian told reporters Monday, per a transcript. “We are concerned about certain countries’ politicization of the issue.”

CERN TAKES ANOTHER LARGE STEP TO THE CONTROL OF ANTI-MATTER

Indeed, what I've stated before about matter-antimatter reactions should be borne in mind: they are total annihilation reactions. In other words, imagine one had managed to accumulate 25 kilograms of anti-matter and keep it contained, and then suddenly brought that 25 kilograms of anti-matter into contact with 25 kilograms of ordinary matter. The result would be an annihilation reaction that would make the world's largest-ever hydrogen bomb - Russia's "Tsar Bomba" with an enormous yield of 57 megatons - look like a firecracker.

So with that as the context, now consider what the article says. Firstly, it states that this most recent achievement was accomplished under the auspices of CERN:

The overreaction to China’s new nuclear silos

China hawks have seized on a report about new Chinese missile silos to spread alarmist claims about the Chinese nuclear arsenal and agitate for a new arms race.

The revelation that China has been quickly building approximately 119 new hardened silos in the desert of Gansu province is important new information, but it does not support the absurd and exaggerated claims that hawkish analysts have made about Beijing’s arsenal. It appears that China is seeking to increase its arsenal’s survivability in the event of a conflict with the United States, and it is doing so in response to U.S. nuclear modernization and missile defense.

Dr. Jeffrey Lewis, one of the scholars that confirmed the existence of the silos, said as much after the news broke: “We’re stumbling into an arms race that is largely driven by U.S. investments and missile defense.”

FLASHBACK - Yes, the United States Used Biological Weapons on North Korea

Opinion — It’s sort of silly that it matters. The United States bombed North Korea flat with ordinary, non-bioweapons bombs. It ran out of standing structures to bomb. People lived in caves, if they lived. Millions died, most of them from regular old non-scandalous but mass-murderous bombs (including, of course, Napalm which melts people but doesn’t give them exotic diseases). North Koreans to this day live in such terror of a repetition of history that their behavior is sometimes inexplicable and bewildering to Americans whose knowledge of history comes from watching game shows.

US biowarfare against China, Iran and Italy

By now, the world already knows the US regime is desperately covering up its biological attack against China, Iran, and Italy.

I will summarize the main points underlying this case. First, what motivates US aggression against these three states [and many others]? Enter, the Wolfowitz doctrine, namely the US' official but unstated foreign policy is to crush all potential rivals to uphold us economic and military tyranny on earth.

America's political and military mission in the post-cold-war era will be to insure that no rival superpower is allowed to emerge

The events were kick started with US aggression
1. US starts trade War against China
2. US pulls out of the JCPOA nuclear deal with Iran and places crippling sanctions on Iran to topple its government
3. US threatens Europeans vassals to avoid China's OBOR/BRI project
4. US tries to crush Huawei through unscrupulous lawfare, sanctions, and a global smear campaign

US Has Produced its First in New Line of Updated 475-Kiloton Thermonuclear Warheads

The United States is expected to spend more than $1.2 trillion over the next three decades updating its nuclear arsenal, nearly all of which is more than 30 years old, dating back to the Cold War. However, some of the more recent and pricey additions have already been cut from the budget, like a sea-launched cruise missile.

The National Nuclear Security Administration (NNSA), a semi-autonomous agency of the US Department of Energy, announced on Tuesday that the first W88 Alt 370 had been completed at the Pantex Plant, a site in northern Texas where most of the US’ nuclear weapons are assembled. While the Pentagon is responsible for deciding how its nuclear weapons will be designed, the NNSA is responsible for actually assembling them.

Biden-Putin meeting: no to nuclear war, yes to wars that can lead to nuclear war

The Russian delegation hoped that “the United States does not intend to engage in a conflict with Russia using conventional weapons”

Russia intended to declare [the] inadmissibility of any war with the US, not just a nuclear one, in a statement following the Putin-Biden summit in Geneva. This position was expressed by the Russian side at a meeting of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) Council of Foreign Ministers in Dushanbe on Wednesday, according to sources in the Russian delegation.

[T]he Russian delegation said that Moscow wanted “to state the inadmissibility of any war with the US, not only a nuclear one, considering the risks of it descending into a nuclear conflict between Russia and the US,” but the parties “so far agreed that it is precisely a nuclear war that was inadmissible.”

NATO’s activities near border pose nuclear threat to Russia – official

“All that shows that the West has actually set a course for military, strategic, political and psychological pressure on the Russian Federation, as well as the deliberate escalation of military tensions near the borders with Russia, which does not contribute to strategic stability.”

The Russian government news agency TASS reported on July 14 on stern warnings issued by the deputy secretary of the Russian Security Council, Mikhail Popov, in regard to NATO’s threat to his country. In an interview with the daily Rossiyskaya Gazeta, he said that recent Western activities demonstrate that the U.S. and its NATO allies have launched a campaign of military, political and psychological pressure against Russia and are escalating a dangerous military buildup on and near its borders.

First Improved W88 Nuclear Warhead For Navy's Trident Missiles Rolls Off The Assembly Line

The Department of Energy’s National Nuclear Security Administration has announced the completion of the first production example of the improved W88 Alteration 370 warhead, or W88 Alt 370, after 11 years of work, and a major, costly delay that was first revealed more than a year ago. This modernization program is aimed at mitigating issues relating to the age of the existing stockpile of W88s and maintaining the readiness of these warheads, which are among multiple types presently available for loading into the U.S. Navy's Trident D5 submarine-launched ballistic missiles.

Fauci email shows that Daszak was manipulating bat coronaviruses to make them attack human cells

A Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request has brought to light another damning email showing that Tony Fauci has, in fact, been heavily involved with illegal gain of function research on bat coronaviruses is communist China.

The latest incriminating email to surface was sent to Fauci by EcoHealth Alliance President Peter Daszak back in 2017, in which Daszak admitted that he was “doing assays to find out if [manipulated bat coronaviruses] can infect human cells in the lab.”

The subject line of the email reads, “Confidential – A new bat-origin coronavirus emerging in pigs in China discovered under our NIAID R01,” proving that the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases under Fauci was actively funding Daszak’s gain of function research.

Former CDC director: Scientists modified coronavirus before it leaked out of Wuhan lab

Virologist Dr. Robert Redfield said he thinks the Wuhan coronavirus (COVID-19) was modified by Chinese scientists before it leaked out of the Wuhan Institute of Virology (WIV) in China’s central Hubei province. The former director of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) added that the COVID-19 virus’s ability to jump from an animal to a human is not “biologically plausible.” While earlier reports claimed that the pathogen came from bats, newfound evidence suggests it originated in the WIV lab, which has sparked an ongoing debate.

Redfield doubled down on his belief of the lab leak theory in a June 15 interview with Fox News contributor Dr. Marc Siegel. He said that the virus’s ability to spread rapidly has never been seen in other coronaviruses. And while most coronaviruses can cross over from animals to humans, zoonosis usually occurs at a much slower pace than what was seen with the Wuhan coronavirus.

Report: China Building over a Hundred ICBM Silos in Western Desert

A study of satellite images produced by the James Martin Center for Nonproliferation Studies in California this week revealed China is constructing over 100 new silos for intercontinental ballistic missiles (ICBM) in the northwestern desert of Gansu province.

“The acquisition of more than 100 new missile silos, if completed, would represent a historic shift for China, a country that is believed to possess a relatively modest stockpile of between 250 and 350 nuclear weapons. The actual number of new missiles intended for those silos is unknown but could be much smaller. China has deployed decoy silos in the past,” the Washington Post noted Wednesday.

The James Martin Center spotted 119 construction sites laid out in a grid over hundreds of square miles near the Chinese city of Yuman, with each launch site separated from its closest neighbor by at least two miles.

Putin's 'City-Killer': Russia Launches World's Largest Nuclear-Armed Submarine

It's being popularly dubbed "Putin's city-killer" - and is also being widely acknowledged as the largest submarine in the world to be built for 30 years: Russian Navy's 'Special Mission' K-329 Belgorod has been put to see for the first time within the past days, undergoing sea trials.

Estimated at 178 meters (584 feet) long and about 15 meters (49 feet) across, it's twice the size of the UK Royal Navy's largest submarines, but more impressively is equipped with AI-guided nuclear tipped underwater drones which according to one prominent Western source are capable of hitting coastal targets lying 6,000 miles away.

The Belgorod has been known about and teased by the Kremlin for years, but is now being hailed in Russian media as a "game changer".

One military expert with the Royal United Services Institute (RUSI), Dr. Sidharth Kaushal, explained to The Mail on Sunday:

Decisions That Would Cause U.S. To Lose World War III

This month marked the 80th anniversary of Nazi Germany’s invasion of the Soviet Union which took place on June 22, 1941. Hitler’s witting or unwitting pre-emptive attack against the Red Army, which were massed on the borders of eastern Germany, western Poland, Hungary, and Romania poised for their own invasion, enabled the Germans to capture or destroy tens of thousands of Soviet tanks and aircraft. Some authors who have examined Soviet archives have suggested the offensive was scheduled to take place a mere two and a half weeks after Hitler’s attack.

Why Fort Detrick lab should be investigat3ed for global COVID-19 origins tracing

The lab-leak theory, that COVID-19 was leaked from a laboratory, has once again caused a clamor since the beginning of this year, months after the argument was thrown into the trash can of conspiracy theories by an overwhelming number of scientists.

Observers found that things only get more complicated when the origins of the coronavirus - an already difficult scientific issue - is entangled in political manipulation tricks. Combing through more than 8,000 pieces of news reports related to the lab-leak theory, the Global Times found that as many as 60 percent of the coverage was from the US alone.

New Study Finds COVID-19 'Very Well Adapted' To Specifically Infect Humans

An Australian team of researchers has published a new study which found that SARS-CoV-2, the virus which causes COVID-19, appears to be specifically adapted to attack human cells, according to the Daily Telegraph.

Flinders University professor and vaccine researcher Dr Nikolai Petrovsky was part of a team that discovered that Covid-19 is uniquely adapted to attack human cells.
The scientists from Flinders University and La Trobe used powerful computers to model the protein receptors in a number of animal species to see how the coronavirus’s spike protein attached itself to them.

The theory was that if the coronavirus attached itself readily to an animal like a bat or a pangolin, it would have likely been the species that the bug used to make its leap into the human population.

However, the modelling found that the coronavirus’s spike protein was best suited to attacking protein receptors in humans.

The Crimes of Hiroshima and Nagasaki: Four Senators Ask Biden to Clear Oppenheimer’s Name

When the United States dropped atomic bombs on Hiroshima and Nagasaki at the end of World War II, 110,000-210,000 people were instantly killed. Japan surrendered in the days that followed. Not long after, nuclear physicist J. Robert Oppenheimer, who led the Manhattan Project—the research and development program that produced the bomb—was awarded the highest US honor bestowed on civilians for his contribution to the war effort: a Medal of Merit. But Oppenheimer came to regret his participation in the unprecedented devastation, which included thousands more deaths over time due to radiation exposure.

US Plans to Test Its $60 Billion Replacement for Ageing Minuteman ICBMs in 2023

If the tests show satisfying results, Washington is likely to order 400 such missiles to replace their ageing stockpile. The first new ICBMs are expected to be delivered by 2036.

The Pentagon is eyeing 2023 for conducting the first test flights of the Ground Based Strategic Deterrent (GBSD) intercontinental ballistic missile (ICBM), the GBSD programme's manager has said. The tests will be carried out at the Vandenberg Air Force Base at the end of 2023.

Right now, the GBSD developer, US defence industry giant Northrop Grumman is working on the "critical design review" of the ICBM's subsystems, according to a report by the magazine Air Force. The missile itself was developed using digital engineering, which allows computers to find the optimal configuration for a piece of military equipment. The method permits the virtual testing of alternative configurations of a missile to determine the one that performs the best.

Blood & Fog: The Military's Germ Warfare Tests in San Francisco

The Nuremberg Code was drafted in 1947 following the appalling revelations of human experimentation committed in Nazi concentration camps. The overarching goal of the Code was to establish a set of rules for the ethical conduct of research using human subjects, guaranteeing that the rights and welfare of such participants would be protected. Two important principles guide and define this Code: the concept of voluntary, informed consent and that no experiment shall be conducted in which “there is an a priori reason to believe that death or disabling injury will occur.”

Just four short years later, the government of the United States would violate the Code as it undertook one of the largest human experiments in history, spraying the city of San Francisco with a microbe, Serratia marcescens, in a simulated germ warfare attack.

China's Disturbing Nuclear Buildup

In recent summits of Western nations, two shots were fired over the bow of China.

At the Group of Seven (G-7) forum held in Cornwall, England, in early June, the leading Western economic powers announced a new international infrastructure initiative, intended to draw lower-income nations away from China’s burgeoning Belt and Road Initiative (BRI).

This action was quickly followed up by the NATO summit held in Brussels a few days later, which in its official communiqué issued a dark warning about China’s military modernization. For the first time, NATO singled out China for its “assertive behavior,” which it said presented “systemic challenges to the rules-based international order and to areas relevant to Alliance security.”

In particular, NATO noted China’s nuclear arsenal, which it said was “rapidly expanding,” with “more warheads and a larger number of sophisticated delivery systems,” intended “to establish a nuclear triad” comprising land-, sea-, and air-based systems.

Living With World’s End in Plain Sight

This editor’s note introduced the single article that took up almost every inch of space in the August 31, 1946, New Yorker magazine:

“TO OUR READERS: The New Yorker this week devotes its entire editorial space to an article on the almost complete obliteration of a city by one atomic bomb, and what happened to the people of that city. It does so in the conviction that few of us have yet comprehended the all but incredible destructive power of this weapon, and that everyone might well take time to consider the terrible implications of its use. – THE EDITORS”

That article was, of course, journalist John Hersey’s account of the destruction of the Japanese city of Hiroshima by an American atomic bomb and the stories of six survivors of that devastating single blast. It caused a sensation at the time and was recently memorialized in Lesley M.M. Blume’s riveting book, Fallout: The Hiroshima Cover-up and the Reporter Who Revealed It to the World.

The nuclear doctrine: Army chief Gerasimov explains that Moscow reserves right to fire nukes if enemies use them against Russia

Russia has the right to use nuclear warheads in response to the use of weapons of mass destruction against it or its allies, and may even deploy them against conventional weapons if “the very existence of the state is threatened.”

That's according to Valery Gerasimov, the head of Russia's armed forces, speaking to the Moscow Conference on International Security on Wednesday. Gerasimov has been in his post since 2012 and was sanctioned by the EU in 2014 for allegedly “threatening the territorial integrity, sovereignty, and independence of Ukraine.”

“The country's nuclear policy is purely defensive in nature,” Gerasimov explained. “[However], Russia reserves the right to use nuclear weapons in response to the use of nuclear and other types of weapons of mass destruction against it or its allies, and in cases of aggression against Russia using conventional weapons when the very existence of the state is threatened.”

LEAKED CABLE: Hillary Clinton Privately Warned France that Wuhan P4 Lab May Lead to Bioweapon Research

In a leaked State Department cable from 2009, then-Secretary of State Hillary Clinton warned that the Wuhan Institute of Virology could lead to “biological weapons proliferation concern.”

The cable, obtained via Wikileaks, was sent from the State Department in June 2009 to all embassies in member nations ahead of the Australia Group plenary session in Paris, September 21-25, 2009. The Australia Group is an international export control forum organized to prevent the spread of technologies and research that could be used in chemical and biological weapons. All Five Eyes nations are members of the group, including the EU, India, Japan, and South Korea. China is not a member of the group.

The cable stated, “We believe it is important to focus on emerging chemical and biological technologies, trends in the trade of CBW-related goods and threats.”

REVEALED: Google FUNDED virus research carried out by Wuhan-linked scientist Peter Daszak for over a decade, new report reveals, amid accusations Big Tech has silenced COVID lab leak theory

Google funded research carried out by Wuhan-linked scientist Peter Daszak and his charity for more than a decade, it has been revealed.

The tech giant's charity arm, Google.org, has repeatedly provided financial backing for research and studies carried out by scandal-hit Daszak and his New York-based EcoHealth Alliance.

The financial ties, which were first reported by The National Pulse, are disclosed in various scientific studies between 2010 and 2018.

The studies are not related to COVID-19 or the Wuhan Institute of Virology.

Google on Tuesday issued a statement saying: 'These are ludicrous and baseless conspiracy theories.'

New Chinese Submarine Armed With Missiles Capable of Covering Entire US, Reports Say

China's newly commissioned nuclear-powered submarine, dubbed the Type 094A, is equipped with ballistic missiles capable of hitting targets at a distance of 10,000 kilometres (6,200 miles) — the most powerful in the country, the South China Morning Post reported, citing a military source.

"The Type 094A is an upgraded version of the Type 094 that overcame one of the key problems – noise – by improving hydrokinetic and turbulent systems, allowing it to carry the more powerful JL-3", the source was quoted as saying on Sunday.

Why Was the US Department of Defense Funding Bioweapons Research at Wuhan?

Late Friday the British publication DailyMail reported that the United States Department of Defense provided $39 million in grant funding to “EcoHealth Alliance” as part of the aggregated grant funding received by EcoHealth Alliance to conduct various types of “gain of function” virus research – a type of research in which scientists engineer viruses to make them more transmissible or lethal and which can be used to create bioweapons.

EcoHealth Alliance used a large amount of its funding to support research projects on the subject at the Wuhan Institute of Virology, led by Chinese “bat virus” expert Dr. Shi Zenglhi — the “Bat Lady.”

While the Daily Mail report is fairly exhaustive, I think it is important to note that RedState, led by my colleague Scott Hounsell, was asking questions about US government funding gain-of-function research at the Wuhan lab back in February.

The Covid BioWeapon: Made in the USA, Aimed at China

“…..we are left with the strong likelihood that Covid came from a laboratory along with a good possibility that it was designed as a bioweapon, yet we lack serious indications that any lab-leak occurred. So if the original Wuhan outbreak was due to the deployment of a powerful bioweapon but not one that had accidentally leaked from any lab, then surely China was the intended target, the victim rather than the perpetrator….

Given our ongoing military and geopolitical confrontation with China, America seems the likely source of the attack… The most likely suspects would be rogue elements of our national security establishment, probably some of the Deep State Neocons whom Trump had placed near the top of his administration.

PETER DASZAK'S ECOHEALTH ALLIANCE HAS HIDDEN ALMOST $40 MILLION IN PENTAGON FUNDING AND MILITARIZED PANDEMIC SCIENCE

“Pandemics are like terrorist attacks: We know roughly where they originate and what’s responsible for them, but we don’t know exactly when the next one will happen. They need to be handled the same way — by identifying all possible sources and dismantling those before the next pandemic strikes.”

This statement was written in the New York Times earlier this year by Peter Daszak. Daszak is the longtime president of the EcoHealth Alliance, a New York-based non-profit whose claimed focus is pandemic prevention. But the EcoHealth Alliance, it turns out, is at the very centre of the COVID-19 pandemic in many ways.

To depict the pandemic in such militarized terms is, for Daszak, a commonplace. In an Oct. 7 online talk organized by Columbia University’s School of International and Public Affairs, Daszak presented a slide titled “Donald Rumsfeld’s Prescient Speech.”:

'Partners with the Chinese': Ex-DOD official says U.S is 'complicit' in COVID lab leak

Stephen Bryen, the founding director of the Pentagon's Defense Technology Security Administration, believes it's time for the U.S. to confront its own culpability in the COVID-19 pandemic — starting with tough questions about the Defense Department's funding of the Wuhan Institute of Virology, the Chinese lab now widely suspected as ground zero in the spread of the SARS-CoV-2 virus to humans.

Last month, Kentucky Republican Sen. Rand Paul grilled Dr. Anthony Fauci, director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, on the origins of the SARS-CoV-2 virus, as well as U.S. funding that made its way to the WIV to support research on bat coronaviruses suspected of being exploited in gain of function experiments. Fauci categorically denied under oath any gain of function funding present or past by the National Institutes of Health, the NIAID's parent agency.

This Close US Ally Is Selling China Billions In Military-Related Equipment

Authored by Mark Curtis via Consortium News,

The UK government has authorized the sale of £2.6-billion worth of military and civilian equipment with potential military use to China in the past three years, government figures show. Last year saw a tripling in exports to China of "dual use" items defined as "civilian goods with a military purpose."” Some £1.6-billion worth were authorized in 2020, compared to £526-million in 2019.

The increase coincided with the beginning of the coronavirus pandemic in early 2020. The exports have been approved while China is identified by the British government as “an increasing risk to U.K. interests” and "the biggest state-based threat to the U.K.’s economic security."

EXPLOSIVE, UNEARTHED VIDEO: PETER DASZAK DESCRIBING CHINESE COLLEAGUES DEVELOPING KILLER CORONAVIRUS

"Then when you get a sequence of a virus, and it looks like a relative of a known nasty pathogen, just like we did with SARS. Then we… Well I didn’t do this work, but my colleagues in China did the work. You create pseudo particles, you insert the spike proteins from those viruses, see if they bind to human cells. At each step of this you move closer and closer to this virus could really become pathogenic in people. You end up with a small number of viruses that really do look like killers." Peter Daszak

Anonymous experts at the Wuhan Institute of Virology (WIV) have dismissed theories that COVID-19 leaked from their lab, as well as US intelligence that three lab workers fell ill with symptoms consistent with COVID-19, according to Chinese state-run ECNS.CN.

The experts, who requested anonymity, said individuals from the West can present their proof if they have any. They also dismissed as groundless the reports from some media outlets that three workers from the institute had contracted the virus. -ECNS

According to a May 23 report by the WSJ, Three researchers at the Wuhan Institute of Virology were so sick in November of 2019 that they sought hospitalization.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Forgive me, but what the hell did you expect elements of the CPP to say?!?

Hell yes, we are creating bioweapons with which to kill all Westerners?!?

And I have to wonder; were there, or will there be, "genetic markers" in that Covid-19, or future bioweapons, with which to target certain ethnicities?!?

Explosive, Unearthed Video Shows Peter Daszak Describing ‘Chinese Colleagues’ Developing ‘Killer’ Coronaviruses.

EcoHealth Alliance President Peter Daszak – who collaborated with the Wuhan Institute of Virology on research funded by Dr. Anthony Fauci’s National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Disease – appears to boast about the manipulation of “killer” SARS-like coronaviruses carried out by his “colleagues in China” in a clip unearthed by The National Pulse.
Daszak made the admission at a 2016 forum discussing “emerging infectious diseases and the next pandemic,” which appears to be at odds with Fauci’s repeated denial of funding gain-of-function research at the Wuhan Institute of Virology.

While describing how his organization sequences deadly viruses, Daszak describes the process of “insert[ing] spike proteins” into viruses to see if they can “bind to human cells” as being carried out by his “colleagues in China”:

Troops Leaving, But US Commits Billions to Fund Afghan Fighting$3.3 billion annually to go to Afghan military

US troops leaving Afghanistan was meant to mark the end of the war in Afghanistan. As it stands, however, it seems that the administration is going through any hoops possible that might keep the war going and the US deeply invested in it.

The latest sign of the Afghan War to come was envoy Zalmay Khalilzad and a delegation committing the US to $3.3 billion annually in direct funding to the Afghan military. This is just one aspect of all the US aid to Afghanistan still being negotiated.

The US spent decades designing an Afghan military that the country could never afford, and it was assumed the US would be on the hook for some subsidy. The sheer size of the funding, however, points to a US vision that they’re going to keep fighting a war, and doing it on the US dime.

Webmaster's Commentary:

This is Federal ego and insanity writ large.

Bring our troops home; Let the Afghanis decide their future; negotiate with whatever government is still standing in Kabul post-troop withdrawal, for the oil rights, and call it a day.

After Capitol Riot "Pause", Arms Companies Are Showering Money On Both Sides Of Aisle Again

Authored by Jason Ditz via AntiWar.com,

Political rancor and tensions surround the 2020 election had many US companies trying to distance themselves from the process by halting political donations. This included one of the biggest sectors for buying influence, the arms industry.

After a few months to reexamine things, the arms companies are back to throwing money around, donating in large quantities to members of both parties involved in military spending, and trying to ensure that they stay on good terms with everyone responsible for their business’ contracts.

US Troops In Iraq Targeted By Increasingly Sophisticated Combat Drones

The thousands of US troops still in Iraq are increasingly monitoring the threat from the skies, as a series of combat drones from an unknown source have reportedly targeted American bases over the past few months, according to a Friday report in The New York Times. The report blames "Iran-backed militia" for deployments of sophisticated small drones, citing the usual anonymous sources.

The following day on Saturday, a new attack on Ain al-Asad Air Base in Iraq was reported: "The air defense system at Ain al-Asad Air Base in Iraq, where American forces are stationed, shot down two drones that attempted to attack the base on Saturday night, according to the Iraqi Security Media Cell."

Webmaster's Commentary:

Yes, one can hear the war drums getting beaten with ever greater fierocity by Team Biden and Israel, particuarly in light of Netanyahu's impending (potential) fall from grace in the next couple of days.

Geopolitically, Netanyahu is a wounded animal; wounded animals are always at their most dangerous.

However, I would like to politely point out that a US war against Iran would most probably translate as a war against both Russia and China right now; is US leadership so thooroughly idiotic, as to believe that such a war could actually be won, given that we don't have the troop strength; weaponry; money; or manufacturing to make that happen?!?

British Army's New Ajax Tank Makes Troops Sick

The British Army is modernizing its forces with new armored fighting vehicles. One vehicle, in particular, called the "Ajax," produced by General Dynamics UK, has been in testing with the service after a multi-billion dollar deal. But there's a problem, the vehicles are so noisy and vibrate violently during operations that tank crews are becoming sick, according to The Times.

The UK government ordered 589 Ajax tanks, formerly known as the Scout SV (Specialist Vehicle), a family of armored fighting vehicles being developed by General Dynamics. A deal between the service and the defense firm was inked in 2014 for $4.5 billion, and after trials in November, it appears these tanks are far from battle-ready.

Webmaster's Commentary:

This is insanity, writ large.

Why is it that the companies responsible for creating weaponry feel it is perfectly fine to provide Britain's military with absolute crud, where the engineering has obviously not been thought through at all?!?

Mind you, I hate war; but there should be, in large type, a caveat in every contract for every military bit of weaponry, that if the item does not perform flawlessly, within spec, from the first trial of that weaponry, that the presidents of those corporations who made it, are looking at jail time, and NOT in Britain's equivalent of a Club Fed!!

Biden’s grounding of Open Skies treaty is folly amid Russian tensions. And it’s a head-scratcher, since his campaign once called Trump’s withdrawal of the Cold War agreement ‘short-sighted.’

The Biden administration had an opportunity to salvage the Treaty on Open Skies (OS), but they have chosen to let it die.

The U.S. had withdrawn from the treaty under the previous administration in November 2020, and there was a chance that Biden could have rejoined it. Last month, the State Department announced that the U.S. would not rejoin the treaty, and the Russian government has taken steps to exit the treaty as well.

The exit of the two largest states from Open Skies marks its demise for all intents and purposes. The decision represents a reversal from Biden’s criticism of Trump’s withdrawal, which he had previously characterized as “short-sighted.” The administration’s bizarre decision to bury the treaty makes it less likely that the U.S. and Russia will be able to make any progress on a new arms control agenda, and it casts a pall over the upcoming Geneva summit on June 16. Arms control experts reacted to Biden’s decision with dismay and bewilderment.

Webmaster's Commentary:

The American comedian Ron White, in his stand-up routine, had a statement which very mucn describes this decision; "You can't fix stupid!!", and this is precisely how this decision on the part of Team Biden, can be succinctly described.

After Very Public Pause, US Arms Companies Resume Political Donations

Political rancor and tensions surround the 2020 election had many US companies trying to distance themselves from the process by halting political donations. This included one of the biggest sectors for buying influence, the arms industry.

After a few months to reexamine things, the arms companies are back to throwing money around, donating in large quantities to members of both parties involved in military spending, and trying to ensure that they stay on good terms with everyone responsible for their business’ contracts.

Webmaster's Commentary:

And this weapons-centric money manifests as a policy of perpetual war on the part of this government.

In an honest government, not one cent would be allowed from companies which make weapons.

Unfortunately, however, this government has devolved into one where it cannot do otherwise than create consistently horrific outcomes, both domestically and internationally.

I would like to politely point out, that everything we understand, has a life cycle; planets; people;... and governments.

I cannot tell you what the next phase of US government will look like, if it is able to continue to stand for a littel while longer, but I can tell you one thing for certain; this heady combination of" broke, woke, and dystopian", most probably cannot not survive for very much longer.

Infographic: What you need to know about Israel’s military

Last month, as Israel bombarded the besieged Gaza Strip for the fourth time in 12 years, the United States approved a $735m arms sale to Israel. The approval was criticised by legislators in Congress, and several Democrats introduced resolutions to block the sale of Boeing’s precision-guided missiles.

Israel’s 11-day military campaign killed at least 253 people, including 66 children, in Gaza. At least 12 people were killed in Israel by rockets fired by Palestinian armed groups in Gaza. The UN Human Rights Council has set up a panel to investigate both sides for possible war crimes and human rights group Amnesty International has renewed its call for a halt to US weapons sales to Israel.

Gaza has been described as the world’s largest open-air prison. Since 2006, Israel has imposed a land, sea and air blockade on its 2.1 million inhabitants. Israeli forces continue to militarily occupy East Jerusalem and the West Bank where they have built hundreds of illegal settlements.

Webmaster's Commentary:

If Israel's weapons industry is thriving, why does it need so much military and financial support from the US, while the US infrastructure is crumbling around us?!?

THAT... appears to be the dreadedly unasked, and unanswerable question, for Congress, for which the US Congress must be held to account, by We the People.
