Minnesota School Board Tries To SILENCE Parents By Requiring Them To Give Their Home Address Before Being Allowed To Speak At Public Meetings

Chris Rufo posted a video tonight from a school board meeting in Manako, Minnesota where the school board is requiring parents to reveal their addresses in order to address the school board:

The father in the video clearly doesn’t want to give his address, but school board member Jodi Sapp compels him to reveal his house number and street, or says he can’t speak.

Reluctantly, the father reveals it and Sapp repeats over the microphone for everyone to hear. Mission accomplished.

Florida school board member takes elementary school students on field trip to gay bar: 'SO honored'

A Florida school board member chaperoned a group of elementary school children on a field trip to a gay bar, according to photos of the trip she posted to social media.

A huge thank you to Rosie's Bar and Grill for hosting this special field trip every year!," Broward County School Board member Sarah Leonardi posted on her official school board Facebook page Wednesday.

The post, which was examined by Fox News Thursday morning, shows photos of children in the popular Florida gay bar, Rosie’s, as well as a photo of the children posing next to the restaurant’s sign. Leonardi did not immediately respond to Fox News’ request for comment on the field trip.

VIDEO: Journalist Reads Filthy Porn Book from School’s Library at FL School Board Meeting – Board Members Call Police to Have Him Forcefully Removed for Reading Obscene Content Aloud

In Orange County, Florida on Tuesday, this Gateway Pundit contributor attended the Orange County Public Schools board meeting to document the discussion on their illegal mask mandate, which is in violation of Governor DeSantis’ executive order banning such mandates on students.

The Orange County School Board is one of a handful of Florida’s 67 county boards that have flouted the governor’s order, even as the courts have sided with the DeSantis administration pending current litigation of the matter.

However, shortly before the meeting, this journalist was approached by two concerned parents about a sexually explicit book, which has garnered national attention, that their child found featured prominently in the library of Boone High School on a bookstand promoting the LGBT community during Pride Month.

Minnesota school board orders parents to announce their HOME ADDRESS before speaking at public meeting despite risk of making them targets for violence

A Minnesota school board chairwoman has stirred outrage after she demanded that parents announce their home address if they want to speak at public meetings - the latest flashpoint in the ongoing battle over the right to question administrators about COVID restrictions, CRT curriculums or any other controversial topics.

Jodi Sapp, the chairwoman of the Mankato school board, opened the meeting on October 18 by telling parents they cannot ask any questions unless they revealed their home address, according to the now viral video.

'Each speaker is asked to state his or her name and home address for the record. Failure to do so will result in an individual not being allowed to speak,' Sapp read aloud.

Garland's feds go after parents: Mother protesting porn on curriculum shares photo of federal law enforcement cars outside school board meeting after AG told FBI to crack down on parents

Stacy Langton appeared on Fox News’ Fox & Friends on Wednesday and claimed that federal agents and unmarked law enforcement vehicles were seen outside a board meeting of the Fairfax County Public Schools last week.

Langton claimed that there was a heavy federal law enforcement presence just days after she and others protested outside the Department of Justice in Washington, DC.

She made the allegation as Attorney General Merrick Garland was accused of targeting Fairfax County parents protesting aspects of the school curriculum as ‘domestic terrorists.’

Survey Shows Jewish College Students Most Likely To Oppose Free Speech And Condone Violence To Silence Opinions They Don’t Like

A just-released survey from the Foundation for Individual Rights in Education of over 37,000 students at 159 colleges showed that Jewish students — just like their Bolshevik ancestors and cousins — were far more likely than other students to censor, shut down, and silence — using violence if “necessary” — anyone whose opinion they don’t like:

The data show that one-third of all students think trying to disrupt and shout down speakers when they visit campuses is sometimes or always acceptable. Among Jewish students surveyed, 40% reported feeling this way. As for blocking other students from attending a campus speech and hearing potentially controversial ideas, 13% of students surveyed, and 18% of Jewish students, think this is sometimes or always acceptable. Two-thirds of Jewish students — compared to just about half of students nationally — answered that blocking other students from attending a campus speech is justifiable.

Test Scores by Ethnicity in Canada

So Northeast Asian students with parents born in Canada have a 116 composite score and black students with parents born in Canada have an 89 composite?

White kids whose parents were born in Canada have a 106 composite. (The gaps are slightly smaller for average scores than for composite scores.)

This 27 point gap between Northeast Asians and blacks must be due to Canada’s history of slavery, Confederate statues, Jim Crow, lynching, the burning down of the black Wall Street in Tulsa, Ontario, and redlining.

Furious parents and conservatives have told Barack Obama to apologize to a Loudoun County, Virginia, couple and their daughter who was raped by a skirt-wearing boy in a school bathroom in May, after the former President called the row encircling it 'fake outrage' and a 'phony trumped-up culture wars'.

On Monday, juvenile court judge Pamela Brooks ruled that the boy - who has not been named - did force himself on the 15-year-old girl on May 28 in the bathroom at Stone Ridge High School in Leesburg, Virginia.

The case drew national attention because the boy was wearing a skirt at the time and the girls' parents - Scott and Jessica Smith - said it was what they feared might happen more if Loudoun County Schools starts allowing boys into girls' bathrooms frequently as part of a progressive transgender policy.

Va. Parents Blast ‘Tone-Deaf’ Obama Over Education Complaints Amid Sexual Assault Allegations

Virginia parents ripped into former President Barack Obama as he was campaigning on behalf of Democratic gubernatorial candidate Terry McAuliffe over the weekend over what they termed as “tone-deaf” remarks regarding complaints about school curriculum and alleged sexual assaults that did not get reported.

On Saturday, Obama took aim at McAuliffe’s GOP rival, Glenn Youngkin, for his campaign’s focus on the highly emotional topic of education, dismissing them as not serious and based on “fake outrage.”

“We don’t have time to be wasting on these phony trumped-up culture wars, this fake outrage that right-wing media peddles to juice their ratings,” Obama said, going on to accuse Youngkin of avoiding “serious problems that affect serious people” while saying that outrage over the actions of various school boards isn’t justified, Fox News reported.

Loudoun County judge finds boy 'in a skirt' GUILTY of sexually assaulting female student in girls' bathroom: Victim's vindicated parents demand apology from NSBA for labeling them 'domestic terrorists' for trying to protect their daughter

A Loudoun County judge has found a teenage boy 'in a skirt' guilty of sexually assaulting a 15-year-old female classmate in the girls' bathrooms at their school, siding with the victim's outraged parents who were shamed for protesting against trans bathroom rules after the incident.

How Can 84% Of Chicago Public Schools Students Graduate When Only 26% Of 11th-Graders Are Proficient In Reading, Math?

It’s shameful.

Chicago Public School officials want to celebrate a record graduation rate when much of the other data shows they are failing Chicago’s children.

Only 26 percent of CPS 11th-graders can read and do math at grade level, according to the latest Illinois Report Card data, and yet last week the district proudly announced that 84 percent of students graduated from CPS in 2021 – a new record high.

First of all, color us skeptical about that record high rate. Everyone knows that the city’s children were underserved by remote learning – the failures were reported ad nauseum by the press. Announcing record graduation rates is a way for district officials to sweep those failures under the rug.

But there’s a more fundamental problem: the graduation rate distracts from the fact that CPS officials are pushing out poorly educated children.

“Completely Reckless” – Louisiana High School Under Investigation For Vaccinating Teenage Students Without Parental Consent (VIDEO)

A mother was left stunned and outraged this week when she was made aware of her son receiving a Covid-19 vaccine at his high school without her consent.

Jennifer Ravain – the mother of a 16-year-old student at East Jefferson High School in Jefferson Parish, Louisiana – found out about the “nightmare” scenario on Wednesday, which was when an Oschner mobile vaccination clinic was at the school to vaccinate the teenagers.

Somehow, she says, her son was able to sign the parental consent form himself without anyone notifying her before he received his jab.

Allowing the minor to receive the Covid vaccine without parental consent directly violates the state guidelines, which require a parent or guardian to sign off on the experimental jab before it can be administered to ANYONE who is under the age of 18. The policy is clearly stated as such on the Louisiana Department of Health’s website.

National School Board Association head talked to White House for WEEKS before asking to rein in ‘domestic terrorist’ parents

Leaders of the US National School Board Association failed to consult their own board and were in touch with the White House before publishing a letter with a call to label unruly parents as “domestic terrorists," emails reveal.

In a letter to President Joe Biden last month, the NSBA insisted that the classification of parents’ disruptive actions at school board meetings “could be the equivalent to a form of domestic terrorism and hate crimes,” calling on Biden to direct the Justice Department to apply the Patriot Act “in regards to domestic terrorism” wherever possible.

On Thursday, a trove of NSBA emails obtained by Parents Defending Education through a public information request revealed that the president of the association, Viola Garcia, and CEO Chip Slaven had been communicating with the White House for weeks before the final version of the controversial letter was sent out to the media.

Over half of students reported feeling 'institutional betrayal' at a university during the pandemic

The first survey found 67% of students reported experiencing at least one type of coronavirus-related institutional betrayal. That level dipped slightly in the second survey, which found that 55% of students reported the same. Both surveys found that those feelings were linked to trauma.

Students reported the same most common instances of institutional betrayal in both studies: creating environments "where transmission and/or safety violations seemed common or normal," as well as "where transmission and/or safety violations seemed more likely to occur."

Among the least commonly reported forms of institutional betrayal — experienced by 10% of students in the first survey — were punishment for expressing concerns and denying an experience related to COVID-19 in some way.

The researchers offered several explanations for why a lower share of students reported at least one type of institutional betrayal in the second survey.

Just last week, lame duck outgoing Mayor Bill de Blasio announced that New York City will be abolishing all of its gifted and talented programs for public school students.

New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio unveiled a plan Friday to phase out the gifted and talented programs for elementary school students that many educators say discriminate against Black and Hispanic children enrolled in the nation’s largest public school system.

The gifted and talented program will be replaced by a program in which all children are thrown into a Harrison Bergeron-like “pool” where everyone is special. How big is this enlarged pool? Large enough to potentially encompass the entire population of New York’s public schools.

It will be replaced by a program called “Brilliant NYC” that will expand the pool of students being offered accelerated learning, and not limit it to just the incoming kindergarteners who scored well on an optional exam that put them on a path to attend the city’s elite middle schools and high schools.

“This Idea of Intellectual Debate and Rigor as the Pinnacle of Intellectualism Comes from a World in Which White Men Dominated"

Phoebe A. Cohen is a geosciences professor and department chair at Williams College and one of many who expressed anger on Twitter at M.I.T.’s decision to invite Dr. Abbot to speak, given that he has spoken against affirmative action in the past.

Dr. Cohen agreed that Dr. Abbot’s views reflect a broad current in American society. Ideally, she said, a university should not invite speakers who do not share its values on diversity and affirmative action. Nor was she enamored of M.I.T.’s offer to let him speak at a later date to the M.I.T. professors. “Honestly, I don’t know that I agree with that choice,” she said. “To me, the professional consequences are extremely minimal.”

Professor Suing UCLA After Being Put on Leave for Refusing to Let Black Students Pass an Exam - Regardless of Grade - in the Memory of George Floyd

An accounting professor at UCLA said he filed a lawsuit against the school after it put him on leave and allegedly threatened to fire him for not grading Black student’s more leniently than their peers.

The American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) sued the state of Oklahoma on Tuesday to stop a state law that limits the teaching of critical race theory.

"HB 1775 is a direct affront to the constitutional rights of teachers and students across Oklahoma by restricting conversations around race and gender at all levels of education," ACLU of Oklahoma legal director Megan Lambert announced in a press release.

"We bring this case to vindicate the rights of Oklahoma teachers and students and to protect the integrity of our educational institutions."

Teachers at Colorado Springs Force Children to Tape Masks to Their Face

Teachers at a Colorado Springs middle school forced children to tape masks to their face in what is being described as an act of “child abuse.”

Conservative commentator Michelle Malkin highlighted the case of 6th grader Rylee M., who texted her mother to tell her that a teacher had given her a warning then handed her blue painter’s tape to seal the mask to her face.

According to Rylee, at least one other student was forced to perform the same humiliating and potentially dangerous procedure because the teacher insisted their masks were not being worn “properly.”

Terry McAuliffe’s Colossal Blunder Earns Him the Ire of Parents

It was the gaffe heard ’round the commonwealth.

Democrat Terry McAuliffe, who wants a second chance at ruining Virginia, committed a blunder of colossal proportions during a recent debate against his Republican opponent, Glenn Youngkin. McAuliffe said parents shouldn’t “be telling schools what they should teach.”

Yes, amidst a headline-making, state-wide uprising of parents who’ve had it with their children being made political pawns by radical school boards and woke school officials, McAuliffe dared to tell these parents, in no uncertain terms, to buzz off.

Video Shows Critical Race Theory Being Taught in OH Classroom After Superintendent Claimed it Wasn’t

As I’ve noted several times recently, the left is ignoring concerns from parents and taxpayers and just doing what they want to do.

The Right Scoop reports:

WATCH: Video proof that CRT being taught in Ohio classroom after Superintendent told parents it wasn’t…

A student at Franklin Woods Intermediate School in Ohio secretly recorded their teacher teaching the class about Critical Race Theory via a book called “Stamped”, which was written by Ibram X. Kendi and several others:

Mythinformed MKE posted this on Twitter last night:

Michelle Malkin: Who's Choking Off Your Children?

The latest horror story involving COVID-19 control freaks erupted right here in my backyard on Friday. It's breathtaking. Literally. No responsible parent can in good conscience sit by silently while pandemic tyrants choke off our children's freedom and oxygen supply.

Stephanie M. is a work-at-home mother of three young daughters. On Friday, she received a text from her sixth grade daughter, Rylee. It was a selfie photo of the girl taken at Chinook Trail Middle School in Colorado Springs. The school is in District 20, which imposed a blanket indoor mask mandate a month ago for all preschool through 12th grade students. Rylee's face was covered not only by a black mask but also by three thick strips of blue painter's tape sealing the top of the mask over the bridge of her nose.

Horrifying Clip: Critical Race Theory Being Taught To Little Kids

In the case of Franklin Woods Intermediate School, proof has emerged that critical race theory ideology is being taught in the classroom. This notwithstanding the Superintendent's previous pledges to parents this wasn't the case.

Particularly the idea that people who aren't radical anti-racist activists are themselves a guilty party.

A recent clip published by Mythinformed MKE shows what seems to be a 6th-grade student on a cell phone covertly recording what the teacher was speaking.

Anatomy of a progressive tyranny over parents that will shock you

For months, widespread parent-led uprisings against school boards have pitted everyday mothers and fathers against powerful political bureaucracies. Skirmishes across the country have revealed the radicalism — and ruthlessness — of the educators and administrators who run the American education system.

But none has been as gruesome as that of Scott Smith, the Loudoun County father who became a target of the managerial class that presides over the wealthy northern Virginia suburb.

Smith, a plumber by trade, told The Daily Wire that he was ignored and eventually prosecuted by local authorities for calling attention to the sexual assault of his ninth-grade daughter, which he says was perpetrated by a male student wearing a dress in a Loudoun County Public Schools (LCPS) bathroom. Privately, Smith was assured that his daughter’s May 28 assault would be handled “internally.”

There's a phenomenon that is occurring as the planscamdemic narrative is beginning to break down, and that phenomenon is not only the bifurcation of the culture, but of the workplace as well, a phenomenon hastened by the ridiculous "one size fits all" mandate-and-medicine policy of the regime of President* Bidenenko. Consider: one result of the "narrative" has been that more and more parents were able to see exactly what their children were being subjected to in Amairikuhn edgykayshun; some have responded by pulling their children out of the schools completely, other by protesting local school boards and in some cases, getting those boards fired and overturned.

Providence Anti-Critical Race Whistleblower Teacher Ramona Bessinger Taunted In Troubling Schoolyard Incident

Ramona Bessinger is the Providence, Rhode Island, middle school teacher who gained national attention by blowing the whistle on a racialized and radical Critical Race curriculum introduced a year ago. The hyper-focus on racial oppressor-oppressed narratives not only was poor pedagogy, it led to Bessinger being targeted by students and teachers because she is white, and by administrators because she went public with the information.

Bessinger detailed the curriculum and the retaliation in two posts at Legal Insurrection:

Some Colleges Now Offering ‘Social Justice’ Math Classes for Future Teachers

This school year, colleges around the country will teach students to use math to drive a “social justice” agenda. Campus Reform has found several courses, aimed both at math students and future teachers, that will teach math through social justice and social justice through math.

Central Washington University’s “Mathematics for Social Justice,” identified by Twitter user @OrwellNGoode, purports to teach students how, and why, to use math for social justice activism. The course description says, “The overarching goal of this course is for students to develop the ability and inclination to use mathematics to understand, and improve, the world around us, exploring social, political, and economic justice.” Students will use math and analysis to “draw conclusions concerning social justice issues,” “make and evaluate assumptions in a social justice context,” and “analyze and critique social justice claims and arguments.”

ACLU Supports Forcing Teachers To Use Pronouns

The ACLU filed a brief opposing free speech. The American Civil Liberties Union, which has been on the decline with regard to its defense of citizens rights just as it has been increasing its adherence to supporting the progressive political status quo, is fighting against public school teachers who do not believe they should be compelled to ally with views to which they are fundamentally opposed.

The issue on topic is pronouns, and whether teachers in the school district of Loudoun County, Virginia should be compelled to use pronouns of a student's choosing.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Ethnic Studies Mandated in California

It is more-or-less accepted that Jewish Zionists pretty much control many aspects of what comes out the other end of US foreign policy formulation and have plausibly done so since the time of President Bill Clinton, if not before. It was also a given that President Donald Trump, for all his talk of Making America Great Again, would shower benefits on Israel, a propensity that has already become well established for the Joe Biden Administration. And it should also surprise no one to learn that the benefits derived from the Israel-lean in foreign policy accrue to the Jewish state, allowing it to continue its human rights violations and war crimes at will. The benefit to the US Taxpayer, who generously funds the enterprise, amounts to nothing in return but the scorn of much of the rest of the world that sees Washington as Jerusalem’s poodle.

Democracy Lost: Propaganda, Character Assassination and the Campaign Against Professor David Miller

On October 1st 2021, the University of Bristol decided to buckle in the face of a near 3 year-long pro-Israel lobby campaign and fire Professor David Miller. I have worked with David for many years now, co-published work on the theory of propaganda, researched and written about the UK FCO propaganda operation (ongoing) that has sought to overthrow the Syrian government, and developed the fledging Organisation for Propaganda Studies. David was, is, and will continue to be, a major intellectual force with respect to our understanding of propaganda, and his integrity, particularly in relation to the Israel-Palestine issue, is now cemented in history. He became a voice for the Palestinians, highlighting the ways in which propaganda has worked in order to simultaneously suppress public understanding of the nefarious actions of the Israeli government against them and erase awareness of their plight.

NCAA panel recommends nixing standardized testing requirements for athlete eligibility

The NCAA created the task force as part of an eight-point plan to address racial equity issues. Critics of the SAT and ACT say they cater to wealthy and White students and are a barrier to applying to college for their low-income counterparts.

The pandemic early on shut down common SAT and ACT testing sites, leading a significant contingent of colleges to no longer require the scores as part of their admissions processes. Many institutions adopted multi-year pilots of test-optional admissions, and experts in enrollment management anticipate these policies will often stick post-crisis. Notably, too, many schools switched to test-free admissions, meaning they refuse to consider the scores at all.

The NCAA panel's recommendation "aligns directly with that movement," in admissions, the task force's leader, David Wilson, said in a statement. Wilson is president of Morgan State University, a historically Black institution in Baltimore.

Here in California my son’s homeschool math tutor, who teaches in a public grade school by day and tutors after school, says the top enrollment at his school was 544. Now it is only around 300. Parents are pulling their kids out of California schools.

The Surveillance State Grows: UK Schools Will Use Facial Recognition to Speed Up Lunch Payments

By J. Fingas

Facial recognition may soon play a role in your child’s lunch. The Financial Times reports that nine schools in the UK’s North Ayrshire will start taking payments for canteen (aka cafeteria) lunches by scanning students’ faces. The technology should help minimize touch during the pandemic, but is mainly meant to speed up transaction times. That could be important when you may have roughly 25 minutes to serve an entire school of hungry kids...

Big Brother Watch and England’s Biometrics Commissioner both maintained that facial recognition was arbitrary. There was a concern that school rollouts might normalize face scanning and numb students to privacy concerns...

Scrapping ‘gifted programs’ in a bid to equalise education will destroy excellence & encourage incompetence

New York’s educational program for talented children is under threat, as it is said to promote racial segregation. But ending it will simply mean that gifted pupils, whatever their background, are discriminated against.

Irrational woke activism is working hard to dismantle the American education system. New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio has unveiled a plan to phase out the ‘Gifted and Talented Program’, effectively denying talented poor kids a special curriculum and opportunities for advancement. The ‘reasoning’ behind this is that the program is a ‘glaring symbol of segregation’ in NYC public schools, due to the perception that the gifted students are disproportionately white and Asian.

Sen. Ron Johnson (R-Wis.) on Sunday slammed the Department of Justice’s investigation into schools, saying it unfairly targets parents.

The Justice Department’s “National Strategy for Countering Domestic Terrorism” laid out by U.S. Attorney General Merrick Garland in June as well as the recent memo aimed at parents at school board meetings are both intended to “intimidate” and “silence” concerned parents, according to Nicholas Giordano, a professor of political science and host of The P.A.S. School Boards and Idiots

Mark Twain famously said, “In the first place, God made idiots. That was for practice. Then he made school boards.” If you ever doubted the wisdom of this observation, the conduct of the Loudoun County School Board, the National School Boards Association, and Attorney General Merrick Garland should put paid to your skepticism. Texas Official Caught Instructing Teachers to Balance Holocaust Books With ‘Opposing’ Views

The Texas official at the center of the story has been identified as Gina Peddy. She reportedly made the comment Friday afternoon during a training session in which administrators discussed which books would be allowed in classroom libraries.

The training took place in response to a parent’s complaint that prompted the Carroll school board to vote on reprimanding a fourth grade teacher that kept an anti-racism text in her classroom.

A Carroll staff member is said to have discreetly recorded the Friday training where Peddy referenced Texas House Bill 3979, which requires teachers to present many perspectives when discussing “widely debated and controversial” subjects.

Jason Martinez, a nurse anesthetist in Nebraska, has work in two hours. It is 4 a.m. and Martinez is sifting through hundreds of pages of government documents he obtained through a public information request. His wife is worried about his sleep, that is until he starts reading aloud the messages, the snide remarks state bureaucrats and their activist allies made as they wrote a curriculum that would teach the couple's daughters, aged 13 and 15, about transgender hormone therapy and the merits of abortion. Mrs. Martinez was no longer worried about her husband, but her children.

"I would have never dreamt a year ago that I would be caught up in something like this," Jason Martinez told the Washington Free Beacon. "It’s terrible. It’s demoralizing. It’s taking away morality for an ultimate agenda."

A teen sex predator in a skirt gaming a school’s transgender policy in order to rape a fellow student is every parent’s nightmare

Woke schools implementing ‘guidance’ on trans pupils literally opens the bathroom door to manipulative potential predators, while teachers colluding to hide a child's gender worries from their parents is a gross breach of trust.
As a parent of schoolkids, I’m all up for pastoral care, a bit of safeguarding, wellbeing and welfare protection but when that oversteps the mark into teachers and administrators deceiving mums and dads about what’s going on with their children, I’m sorry, that’s too much.

If that deception, however, also involves the cover-up of children being raped by their fellow pupils as a result of a woke school administration’s gender policy, then that would take most parents’ anger to a whole new level.

Schools starting to ban terms like ‘good’ and ‘bad’ when describing students’ behavior

According to reports, the headteacher of a school in England wanted to remove “emotional words” from classroom management, so the terms “good” and “bad” are no longer allowed to be used when describing student behavior.

Teachers at Loughborough Amherst School will now describe good and bad behavior as either “skillful or unskillful.” Headmaster Dr. Julian Murphy stated that the policy, loaned from Buddhism, was “designed to take the emotional heat out of language.”

Dr. Murphy said that while he did not want teachers to be “soft,” he didn’t want them to be “shouty” either, or to make “pupils feel guilty.” He added:

“I think it’s human psychology, even when you’re an adult – if people make you feel guilty, then you get angry and then actually that’s when you’re likely to play the blame game and not to work that well. That’s when things get into a big of a vicious cycle.”

Cities Lead the Way in (Another) Massive Fall Exodus from US Public Schools

By Kerry McDonald

Many parents pulled their children out of school last year for homeschooling and other private options, as schools remained shuttered due to the coronavirus response. Nationwide, homeschooling numbers tripled last year from their pre-pandemic levels, driven largely by black families who left district schools for homeschooling at the highest rate of any demographic group and are now over-represented in the homeschooling population compared to K-12 public schools. With most schools open for full-time, in-person learning this year, it seemed reasonable to assume that parents would eagerly re-enroll their children in their local district school, tabling last year’s alternative education plans.

Transracialism: UK Teachers Union Members Allowed to Self-Identify as Black

A leading higher education trade union in Britain has drawn criticism after supporting so-called trans-racialism, in which people can self-identify as another race.

Last week, the Edinburgh branch of the University and College Union (UCU) wrote on social media to reassert its position in favour of “trans inclusion”, saying that “liberation cannot be built on exclusion”.

The post linked to a 2019 document entitled “UCU position on trans inclusion”, in which the union argued for its members to be able to self-identify as “being black, disabled, LGBT+ or women”.

A staff member at Edinburgh University, who declined to be named out of fear of drawing the ire of the union, told The Times that the issue of trans rights was being “weaponised” in order to force out academics who fail to follow the party line.

“The branch is being used as a platform for an ideological crusade, with no resistance from University of Edinburgh management,” they said.

Two Americas: Poll Shows 44% of Voters Support FBI Targeting Anti-CRT Parents, 47% Oppose

A plurality of American voters oppose the Biden administration’s move to investigate parents publicly opposing school policies, such as Critical Race Theory (CRT), a Rasmussen Reports survey released Wednesday found.

The move followed example after example of impassioned parents directly confronting school boards over their radical agenda items.

However, a plurality of likely voters disagree with Garland’s move. According to the survey, 47 percent oppose the federal investigation. Of those, 39 percent “strongly” oppose it. Another 44 percent support the decision, and among those, just over a quarter “strongly” support it.

Students at one of the most prestigious college preparatory schools in the United States could reportedly gamble expulsion for single instances of speech someone considers offensive.

The administrator will also work with lawyers and academics to develop "legal theories" that contest laws that prevent CRT from being taught in schools. The director will work in the school’s department of Critical Race Studies, which "trains students to both analyze how the law and legal institutions erect racial hierarchies and how to dismantle those same hierarchies."
